I went home, I ripped open the box ( with great zeal), I found the goodness contained within, I almost got murdered by my wife for ignoring her most of the night whilst I drooled through my new book.
Paizo said let there be The Compendium, and there was......and it was good!
The New Deathmaster doesnt have the original favor of the old one, but It's an excellent conversion all the same. Kudos to the converter. I can combine this with some feats from BOVD and have a truly nasty BBEG.
The artwork is just stunning. I especially like the cover art pages in back.
The reprints of the classic articles is fantastic, fumbles and crits will be getting new life in my campaigns now.
Overall this is an excellent book, you guys done good.

It's awesome...I immediately read the critical hits and bad misses and I like the conversion a lot. It's actually not very complicated and could be a great tool for DM's.
Very professional hardcover...I've read only 10% of it but I like it all so far. I'll review it as soon as I've read most of it.
