Greetings,
I would like to request that an upcoming installment of the Demonomicon include a sidebar in the form of a table with four columns. The table would include the level of the Abyss, the name of the level, the name of the ruler, and other regional names within the level.
For example:
Number Level Name Ruler Name Regional Names
248 The Hidden Layer Eltab (in exile) N/A
Thanks,
--Eric

would that be only demon lords, or major demons of any stripe? :)
This would be for the Demon Princes and Abyssal Lords, I think. After all, your average demon can be found anywhere in the Abyss (and a few other spots). Although maybe it would be a good idea to include some of the more powerful Balors, like that one from Return to the Tomb of Horrors. He was Acerak's father, his name began with a "T" (Tarnhem maybe?), and I believe they included a bit on him in the 3E Manual of the Planes. See, this is why they need to include Balors, so that I can have this info readily available.

I love the idea, and major demons don't necissicarily need to be Balors, if they play a major role in the ruling of the plane, I think they should be included.
Absolutely! If I remember correctly, isn't there a Nalfeshnee wielding an artifact called Despoiler of Flesh and ruling a fortress on the one of the layers? Is that the Fortress of Indifference?

i did mean "named" demons, or significant ones, of course. :)
