Web Enhanements

I got a question. Why did the web enhancements stop after flood season? Are you going to add the web enchanements to adventure path two.

Also an idea is to use the web enhancements for useful tool for the DM like the aura info per room that has been removed from the current format of the magazine.

The web-enhancements probably stopped because there where no new monsters or stats that had to be published. Stuff that did need further development was put in an appendix rather than a web-enhancement. I suspect because it is easier to protect content (such as presitige classes) that way.

The most useful web enhancement that we could get are copies of the maps from the magazine, but without room numbers, secret doors and rooms, etc. displayed. These could be printed out and used with miniatures. I'm disappointed that the downloadable material is often the exact same thing that I could have scanned or photocopied from the book, which is generally not suitable for showing to the players.

The web enhancements stopped after "Flood Season" because they take a fair amount of additional time to develop and edit, time that the Dungeon staff doesn't usually have to spare, alas.

There are no plans at this point to add web enhancements for Adventure Path 2, with the obvious exception of the online map/illustration booklets we're doing for all issues of Dungeon. I'll look into the logistics of posting the maps without tags, but I can't make any promises there (yet).

Did I miss something mentioned on another board, James? What are the online map/illustration booklets that you refered to above?

The one for issue #114 is located here:

There's supposed to be one like it for each upcoming issue.

I want to see web enhancements for all of the 2nd Adventure Path. I know it's probably not possible, but they did help out, sometimes greatly. Would it be possible to, at least, get a player handout package as a web enhancement for the 1st module in the new Path? Call it something like what's been posted in another thread in this forum. Include maps for the starting location, a list of notable NPCs, shops, etc. Could this be done?

Are the web enhancements for Life's Bazaar and Flood Season still available? I've poked around a bit but can't seem to find them. I've just started getting around to reading the series now that it's almost complete, and it seems like there's plenty of good stuff there if I could just find it.

thanks!

Thank you!

For the times where a PDF does not show up, it is usually because the Reader being used is an older version than what needs to be used.

Just upgrade your version after heading to adobe.com and looking up Acrobat Reader. After that, things should be AOK. post if not.
