Definitely interested. I'll start sketching out some character concepts.


I'm working on ideas, but right now, I'm thinking towards Cleric (either Asmodean Advocate, or Elder Mythos Cultist), and playing as a world expert on some ancient "fringe" religion that turns out to be right.

Alternately, if the DM would approve Alchemist, I think a demolitions expert might be a fun route to go down.


Now I'm imagining the portal opening, and a box full of 2 dozen +2 longswords gets chucked into the world, and we're all long gone.

I'm interested. I've played a game like this back in 3.5 days, and it was a lot of fun.


I would be absolutely in for this. I’m all about those Stargate vibes. I’m feeling an O’Neill type character, or maybe a Carter? Depends on what the party needs. I haven’t seen a lot of suggestions to move along fighter or any of the classic primary casters? Whichever way, I’m for it.


@bob, you should try it anyway. what's the worst that can happen? :)

@GM, it makes more sense for Piedmontina to start at Half-Fiend, rather than Half-Celestial. They're pretty interchangeable, the only notable differences are that I pick up a bite attack that does a whopping 1 damage, and I switch out some SLAs.

I’m good either way. I just need a statement either way. If it helps make a decision, I’m firmly of the mind that clerics only heal when they have nothing better to do, and that a good cleric is a primary combatant as much as anything else.


Hi all, I know i'm late to the party, but i've got two possible divine casters with most of the crunch complete, and I can round them out before play starts.

Drakar Ironfist: Warpriest (Sacred Fist); Run fast and silent; hit them hard, and don't let their bodies make a noise hitting the ground. Good at frontal assaults, and interdiction.

Drakar:

Str 12, Dex 18, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 16, Cha 7
Feats: Unarmed combatant (class), agile maneuvers (level 1)
Class features:
Unarmed combatant as free bonus feat and monk unarmed damage.
Monk AC Bonus.
Flurry of blows.
Blessings: Knowledge and Repose (Pharasma is deity)
Traits: Fate’s favored, Second Chance
Equipment: 300 gp. Robes.

Garry Stoneheart: Good ol' fashioned dwarven cleric, but not bad at sneaking. Decent at buffs and battlefield control

Garry:

Glory (heroism): Touch of glory, 1st: shield of faith
Earth (caves): Acid dart, 1st: magic stone
Stats: 12, 14, 16, 7, 17, 12
Traits: Highlander, reactionary
Alternate racial traits: Dimdweller instead of greed and stonecunning

Was loosely thinking of Drakar on team ghost, but I'm not sure which teams are in/out/missing people right now.
