Hand Drawn Maps:

I use 1-inch graphic chart paper, then draw in light pencil first, followed by sharpie to give solid definition, and finish with a light shade of color pencil.

If an obscure rule will be used for a given encounter (ex. needing to Balance on an icy terrain), I write the rule right on the map for ease of reference.

In a pinch, I keep at least one blank sheet in my travel container - sometimes those pesky players have a surprise idea that might involve a "map" you didn't plan for!

Oh! I completely forgot about this masked character. I haven't settled on a cohesive approach for him with your group, so he ended up disappearing from the storyline entirely! XD

I don't have the full grasp of Incapacitation trait, so I might need some help here. Keff's Dizzying Colors is just Rank 1, so Level 3 and above target has their result one degree better, right? So if Otani fails the saving throw, it becomes Success?

Yes, exactly. Unless Keff heightened it.

Think of it as a Higher-Level creature's Laugh as the Lower-Level creature tries to knock him out with one hit using a very wimpy spell. "Ha ha, you fool. You think some silly rainbow is going to distract Me!?"

As a caster, if you want your Incapacitation spells to "work", you must prepare them in your highest level slots.

Had me a Gap Baby while we were away, and unlike first child's birth, this one went incredibly smooth.

Anyway, climbing back into PbP slowly.

I guess you're re-asking almost the same question, to emphasize the potential use of weapon oils?

I think the answer remains no. In general losing a rune property slot isn't going to be worth it. Poisons aren't generally good, unless you're an alchemist and can modify the DC. Oils are also very circumstantial and also not worth it.

Generally, it's not a tactic I'd consistently employ. There might be some specific niche situation where it makes sense, but not generally.

It's to understand it's exact benefit.
