She would probably find it difficult to imagine a female ruler. Ekaterina The Great was long time ago for her, and her mother was Christian fundamentalist so I don't believe that RL Anastasia, young as she was, could even imagine becoming an empress (which is a shame, and things are a bit different nowadays in the Romanov family).
1) Who created magus class for 1e? 2) I know that you dislike answering rules questions, but I am writing a bit of fan fiction so I'd like to get some things in order in my mind and I'd appreciate your input: In your opinion, if the Bladebound Magus uses Teleport Blade (as standard action) in combat to summon the blade to his hand, does he provoke an attack of opportunity?
I'm fairly well informed about Scarred Lands and I have all the sourcebooks, including those for Pathfinder. Is recruitment still open? Edit: If it is open, I'd be interested in playing Ranger Sword-Devil Archetype (perhaps Spell-less Ranger by Kobold Press if allowed)/Nightblade by Ascension Games.
I'm sorry if I missed it, but was there any info on your intentions about feats that scale per level? I really recommend that you take a look at New Paths Expanded by Kobold Press. Both classes and feats presented there are excellent and I really like their approach to scalable feats, as well as what they did with Leadership.
Do you plan to use some of Pf 3pp classes or other products? For instance, there's Kobold Press class called Theurg, that works really great. What about some fan favorites that aren't a part of PF due to Paizo's desire not to ruffle feathers, such as Warlock or Artificer - or Warforged on the racial side of things?
Nope. I didn't even know this exists. But I do now and I'll use it in some way. Thanks! Btw, my PCs are in Zobeck and they have one valravn (awakened raven) familiar, a cat sidhe and a lantern archont who will probably became familiars. I want to run a short adventure with them in mind, but city-based.
Hey, guys. I seem to recall that I've read an adventure published in Dungeon Magazine in which you play a bunch of familiars. Now, perhaps that was just a hallucination :) but I'd appreciate if any of you could help me out - is there in fact a low-level adventure with that theme? Perhaps not in Dungeon but somewhere else? thanks in advance.
In this day and age, perhaps the class name Ranger is a bit misleading. I have had a lot of discussions with people who came from MMO's and wanted to play Ranger class, but what they really wanted was to play a guy with a crossbow, not a nature-lover or hunter or whatever, so I'd suggest some other name, such as Wildlander or Wanderer. You should check out Spell-less Ranger by Kobold Press. It's very versatile approach to the class and can easily be adapted to all Pf 1e classes. Owen K. C. Stephens has done a great job with his talented classes, so that may be an inspiration? Apropos perishables, in my games I rolled Brew Potion (and oils, powders etc.) into Alchemy skill and Scribe Scroll into Spellcraft. All other traditional Craft Item feats (Weapon, Armorm, Ring etc.) I've rolled into Imbue Item feat, with prereqs being knowledge of relevant skill.
I second 4 + Int for skills. Also, I did away with class skills in my games. I let the players choose 4 "background" skills that are class skills for their character. In addition to consolidating skills, I've consolidated some feats, such as Two Weapon Fighting (an example of that thinking can be seen in New Paths Expanded by Kobold Press) and improved some existing feats to scale by level. For instance, Weapon Focus gives additional +1 for every 5 BaB, Dodge gives additional +1 for every 5 ranks in Acrobatics etc.

I'm using a lot of houserules for my current (and several past) campaign - even before Unchained was published, I was using consolidated skills. For instance, I rolled Bluff and Intimidate and parts of Diplomacy into one skill, Influence, but I'll probably divide them into two - Deception and Intimidate, with parts of Diplomacy remaining in Deception and parts in my Society skill. Brew Potion is rolled into Alchemy, and several other feats are rolled into other skills. For instance, Harvest Parts is a function of Skill Focus (Survival).
Roland's crew was located near Foul Bog, if I remember correctly. I don't mind to have only limited experience with the elves, basically seeing them only from afar or in passing. But I'm very interested to see what do you plan to use as Wildlander? May I suggest Wanderer from AIME or Forester from Lost Citadel - an excellent take on Ranger-type class.
My initial concept is a young Erenlander refugee, saved by Roland and taken beneath the boughs of Elvenwoods. His mother was a hedge-witch, taken by the legates to feed the black mirror, his father was a wandering rogue and trader, with penchant for loving and leaving wives in every other village. He learned the ways of forest and some magic tricks from the elves and now he yearns to strike back and avenge his mother.
I'm very much interested. I ran a Midnight game or three here as well, a long time ago, so I know the setting pretty well. I ran it using Pathfinder, but if I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, I would recommend that you take a look at Adventures in Middle Earth for 5e. Classes are pretty-much ideal for use in Midnight and you can really easy use Scholar from AIME and just give it spell points to create an ideal channeler. I'm thinking Wildlander right now, depending on your choice of systems.
1) Have you ever watched 1a) Thundar the Barbarian cartoon?
2) On pg. 66 of AP #65 there's an illustration of a Denizen of Leng, holding a crystaline weapon. If that weapon was magic item, what would it be?

Yeah, I understand that - but what's stopping you publishing for instance a pack of 10 ranger talents in one pdf under your own name, not under KP? Rogue Genius Games model is what I have in mind. Of course, I'm fully aware that PF 1e will not be supported anymore. TBH, I'm afraid that even 2e will not go well against D&D 5e. It is what it is.
Well, in my homebrew the Blood War is going strong, but I changed a lot of things. For instance, I made Tiamat Chaotic and Empress of Chaos, merged Abyss with Far Realm and Chaos and added some of the Warhammer concepts to the game. Cosmoginia and Reasons for Blood War: In short, the multiverse was a mass of swirling Chaos in the beginning. In time, some beings coalesced from that Chaos. Some of those beings reveled in Chaos and others abhorred it. The conflict between those two groups of primordials defined the planes and the laws of the multiverse.
The mightiest of the champions of law were the Twin Serpents: Jazirian, winged and feathered, who dedicated herself to the cause of Good; and Asmodeus, scaled and forked of tongue, who became the embodiment of evil. When Asmodeus took Jazirian's tail in his mouth and she did the same with his, they formed a circle and demarcated the planes from the original Chaos, that will eventually become known as the Far Realm. After uncounted aeons, the Twin Serpens started to struggle for the supremacy of the Good or Evil. Eventually, they tore themselves apart. Jazirian flew to the heavens and Asmodeus fell to hell. That fall was so deep that he fractured the plane of hell into nine parts. But the multiverse functions by the Law of Three. It is not known why. At the time that Jazirian and Asmodeus formed ouroboros there were other entities who watched from the swirling mas of Chaos. One of those was their unnamed sister, who took the shape of serpent with what would later be known as humanoid upper body. She was filled with envy and hatred because Asmodeus rejected her, favoring their winged sister. That entity remained in the Chaos, birthing other beings and positioning herself as the ultimate enemy of Asmodeus and his offspring, born from his blood as he fell to the depths of hell. She became known as the Empress of Chaos and that was the real cause of the Blood War... Empress of Chaos The third sibling that has risen from the primordial chaos later became known as Tiamat. As Asmodeus became the lord of Hell, so she became the goddess of evil dragons, but Asmodeus' rejection stings her still, so her malevolent mind is the driving force behind the Blood War. She would love nothing more than to tear down all of Creation are return it to the chaos that spawned her and her siblings.
The caravan moves on. Minotaurs are huffing, the draft horses have stopped neighing and it seems that they are recovered from the fear and near panic caused by the griffon. The things have settled and the night slowly draws in. Some time after dark, a tall Kariv, with a hair as white as snow and a prominent scar running down his face and neck approaches the travelers who are following the last car. ooc]Please roll d20 + status[/ooc]
Faced with a disapproval of so many armed strangers, the fat man start to sweat even more prominently. "I have payed to join this caravan and enjoy its protection - not to be bullied by the riff raff such as you! When the night comes and Baba Svetlana opens the doors to her wagon, I will lodge a complaint!" He sharply turns and leaves you alone.
