I need a name for the new SWSE campaign. Any suggestions? It's going to take place around the Cold War and Galactic War, roughly around 3642-3640 BBY. Once I get a name, I'll make a campaign thread so we can discuss characters and whatnot there and making this thread about Dawn of Defiance again.

Do you think I could get a Quarren bounty hunter to work with this? They don't seem to be appreciated by the Republic, even though they are frequently abused by Imps.

Warhawk, I think it would have to be dependent upon the focus of the game. A new war ignites, the Sith are upset with the betrayal of Malgus. Revan's may not be a factor in your campaign.

I'm really excited to find a great group who enjoys SW as much as I do. I would like to play a Quarren scout going bounty hunter that aids the republic. I have to admit that I am not extremely familiar with the era stuff, but I would be comfortable running pbp as well. Not competing just want to keep this group together and playing SW rpg.

Is there a particular adventure path/module that you guys want to play? If so, I'll see if I can get a hold of it and run it on here.

If you can find them. Some, like Starships of the Galaxy, are incredibly rare. I'm at work, so I can't look at my collection right now, but here's a list of what I can think of off the top of my head.

All of them add new talents for the 5 base classes, new feats, and new prestige classes. They never add new base classes.

One of the big things I liked about Saga was that you were never locked into a single talent tree. You could pick and choose talents from multiple trees as you made your character. As more books came out, it made it incredibly easy for two people to play the same class and have different characters. It was very flexible.

EDIT: Threats of the Galaxy is another one, but that's basically a generic NPC/Villain codex. It only has a couple of talents in it.

A lot of Exotic weapon choices appear in later books. The core book mainly focuses on things from the movies.

What are some of those book titles? (That work with Saga system) I am looking to increase my collection of SW books.

Cool. I haven't played SWTOR in awhile. I meant this rpg. I only have access to the core rulebook and was wondering why there were not more exotic weapons choices.

Don't stress over GMIng. If you have fun we will too. Perhaps we can take turns Game mastering Saga adventures for the group so you can play as well. I have never seen a SW saga module or played this rpg, so I cannot help with any specific advice. Fun is contagious.To make it fun for you perhaps create a NPC that you're interested in and play along with us. I did that in my homebrew game. It keeps it interesting.

I must say that I do like this system and I have had fun do far. I have been busy making other characters.

It would be cool if there was some kind of electro-whip or other advanced technology weapons. Not really canon I guess though.

Me too. My highest level character is Graalen. I got bored playing it. Everything costs so much, I got burnt out credit farming to buy gear to be competitive in PVP.

Also thinking about starting another PbP that's a Clone Wars sandbox. Thought that a sandbox might also help ease me into the rules.

I'd love to make a character for that. Unless you're thinking open recruitment, then I will just apply.

Ryn clutches her blaster under her cloak.

I always make the boy meet me first and go off of that. My daughters claim that their friends are intimidated by me, which I felt kind of bad about. I just talk about awareness with them and how to prevent getting into potentially difficult situations with boys.

@Kalus, yes I am addicted to creating characters. Just look at my aliases. :)

How did all of you organize your name plate so well? What did you use to separate categories? I ?

These Saga games are somewhat rare in pbp. This is only the second one I have seen since I have been on the boards.
