So I remember reading something about Hero Points for the older sets and how when they are earned are just used for re-rolls and resurrection. What I can't find is how you earn Hero Points in the RotR or earlier sets?

But the base RoRL Monk doesn't start with weapons ,but I did see the Elven boots bonus.
In Gannet Island Room D9. It is under an Unhallowed with Silence Kicker that effects non-worshipers of Norgorber. SO if the party kicks down the door to this room and engages in combat with the followers here would that attract attention of the Leader Cleric in room D10? Silence stops all noise from leaving the room ,but the Clerics of Norgorber are immune to it so do they make 'noise' as normal?
OK I am starting the AP again with another table of PC's. I have a 6 player game so I will have to adjust some of the encounters to account for the amount of players. SO here is the player mix: 1 Gnome druid(storm, subdomain:wind)
Yep, I got 3 players playing gnomes...but I get the token Human. We are actually almost to the Chapter 2:Man Promise. There have been alot of whipping and punishments, and making some strange friends on the ship.

Thats what I thought as well. The description of the encounter confused me.
Does an aboleth have a skeleton under all that fish? Would it's tentacles remain after the spell? Do they have any bone structure there? Does it retain it's EX abilities when it is brought back? I know the slime cloud it gone due to the lack of flesh. What about Slime strike?
So two of my PC's are evil alignment and they quickly went from Murder Hobos to causing a major fire at Bloodcove. It seems they sold things at Bloodcove that were owned by the AspisC and therefore they were attacked by a Brute squad(hired by AspisC). The one just lets loose with Fireball after Fireball and catches the buildings on fire as well for it is a dry season after all. So I have now a major enemy and they don't know it yet. I know that Bloodcove is on the fringes of the Shackles ,but the reach of the AspisC has a far reach. Can you say Bounty Hunters or Assassins around every corner?
Can you apply Familiar Archetype to Improved Familiars? I have found threads that say no for they can only be applied to animals. But I have a player who says Sage Archetype is ok for it doesn't apply to animals. I don't have any problem really with what they are doing ,but for my piece of mind I wanted to know what the RAW is?
Tidewater Rock Mistress says that she used to have more towers under her control ,but they were taken via other pirate conquests or disrepair. So I have made up a few side missions that involved some of the older towers. In one of them the party had to prevent one of the towers from burning down. So they had to race up a burning tower rescue some items and the race back down the tower WITH EXPLOSIONS OF FIRE! Very Michael Bay like.
we have:
Notice we don't have any front line fighters, so the Thief has become the defacto attack dog.

I knew it was in there somewhere. I just couldn't find that rule that a character gets a min of 1. |
