yah i think atomie's have some synergy with rogue. and he's got a few class levels in a casting class. muahahaha. fortunately he can't flank. so a lot of the time he can't use his sneak attack. he's got to feint or surprise via invis/stealth to do it. now add 2 levels of ninja and we're talking...

...so you're in no danger of him being able to sneak attack you again right away unless he can set you up.


Giacomo channels, and Caladan commands the fey to approach him. Arwyn has almost regained control of herself, when hommelstaub reappears behind Giacomo, his hands grasping giacomo around the neck, sending frigid chill to the halfling.

free action to drop the torch on the troll after you light him, or you can wield it as an improvised weapon until you drop it next round when you can draw something or use the bow in your other hand. in which case you get an AoO when the Atomie comes in close to try and touch you.

the blue fairy makes itself known as it fires a dart at a weak spot in Gondork's armor, sending him crashing to the ground.


Hearing your plan, theres a tinkle from within the igloo, and suddenly the red sprite has emerged into the snowy outdoors, hiding her glow, she fires an arrow at Gondork before he realizes she's exited the igloo. One needle pings off his armor.

Giacomo lights his torch again, unmolested by the atomie. Gondork gets a surprise though, he feels an icy chill as the diminutive fey sneaks up on him, shoving an icy hand somewhere sensitive. ( 8 cold damage )

prone gives a +4 to your ac technically... intentionally its because when you're perpendicular, you present less of a target. to aerial archers, looking down on a prone humanoid, i'm going to say doesn't offer -4. though standing up would: relative to the aerial archers.

the fiendish eagle continues attacking, scoring another nice bite, before whooshing out of existance with a small plume of smoke that dissipates quickly in the cold and snow.

As one fiendish eagle is slain and disappears in a burst of fire and sulphur smoke, another appears behind gondork, sinking its beak in a tender spot around his neck to a spray of blood.

A blue fairy then emerges from the same southern igloo, so fast and stealthy, its hard for gondork and arwyn to spot her. she blasts the two of them with a color spray.

hmmh. maybe it would be good to have action points. or some emergency reroll methods. i'll consider this. for now would arwn like to control Caladan?

A black and red eagle with smoking eyes appears in a burst of brimstone, trailing smoke, as it flies in front of Arwyn and attacks, scratching her with its talon.

there's an indistinct sound of casting, muffled by the wind.
i'd post a spoiler, but no one has spellcraft so there's no chance for identification. the sound persists but is hard to pinpoint.


the diminutive fairy disappears. its posisble in the snow that he's just moved somewhere and is hiding, but you think you heard him shout something before you lost sight of him
