Im running the AP for 2 devils (lilin and ink devil) a fiendish gnome wizard and a half fiend doppelganger. Don't mind the leveling of these characters, we sorted them out. What we try here is playing it in the Forgotten Realms, the PCs being the agents of the Nine Hells working against the demons by corrupting the crusaders. We consider the fenomenon of the rift as a part of the Blood Wars that has spilled to the Material Plane.
And it works fine so far. The PCs are infiltrating, rpging their way through the enemies and earning the trust of the npcs as they do so.
I might have some difficulties rewriting some parts to fit these characters but it will worth it! :)
Oh yes, forgot about that one! Thanks a bunch!
An other thing is that it is really hard to find good forms for each spell, which incorporate most of the abilities granted by the spells.
Anyone has already composed a list for this? I would be delighted to see it! :) I will also post my list when it's done.
Do ability bonuses stack with the original site modifier of a caster or they overlap? For example: large dragon (or humanoid) creature casts beast shape and turns into a large animal. Does it get the size str bonus and the penalties? What if the same large creature turns into a huge animal?
Savage Tide absolutely ruled my two decade RPG carrier! So I would only encourage the game designers involved in this AP to use everything that worked there. Keep up the good job guys!
Is that guy Gelik (in the purple big hat) a gnome? I am aching for gnome pirates with advanced technology :)

I am thinking of placing Kingmaker into a wilderness setting near the Misty Forest (Sword Coast south of Waterdeep, north of Baldurs Gate).
The other options seems to be the western fringe region of the High Forest.
Please let me know your thoughts,
I'll be putting it in the Border Kingdoms, which have been designed for this sort of thing.
Further, I'll be able to use most if not all of the regional details without having to change what's been detailed already. (I prefer expanding and not replacing.) I was going to also suggest the Border Kindgdoms, although the weather there is not as wet, I think the mindset and instability of the River Kingdoms fit rather well. Could work with a little adaption. Thanks a bunch, didn't think about the border kingdoms at all...
I was considering the North (with Uthgart, lots of fey places, bandits, trolls, and Zhents...)
I guess we'll see what the rest of the AP has in store.

EVIL PARTY in FR?
On another note, the party might be evil, due to the wishes of one of my players to play a worg barbarian/druid. :)
I'm thinking shady Zhent wilderness spies, sent to establish the Waterdhavian charter from Llorkh.
Please let me know your thoughts,
tenx I actually think this is one AP that can be adapted to another setting. Worg doesn't have to be evil. Probably evil, but doesn't HAVE to be. Right, actually the player proposed a good aligned worg, or the "great white wolf" type of mold if the party would be good or neutral.

your wish will be fulfilled :)
A drunk treant, a possessed druid! :) I already love it!
Where would you place Westcrown in the Forgotten Realms?
thanks, i was being ignorant :)
Can someone tell me how to handle this beasty?
It can send its tentacles through to the material plane 12 times a day but its body stays behind in the Abyss.
How should tentacle AC and HP be handled? The aberration has a -4 size modifier on AC which I will not apply but then how much HP does a tentacle have and when does it get severed?
Any ideas? Thanks! :)
Hi!
Please help me finding adventures which would fit this campaign as additional adventures. I am also looking for ones which could fit setting and story and bring the party above level 15.
Thanks for you help!
Thayan party
human evoker (future red wizard)
human conjurer (future red wizard)
human illusionist (future red wizard)
human fighter (future thayan knight)
fire genasi cleric of Kossuth/fighter
gnoll barbarian/fighter/rouge (future occult slayer)
But was the card charged successfully? If it still doesn't work then I will add a VISA.
Thanks for the advise!
Dear Vic,
Sorry for this, didn't think it over properly.
I have updated the expiry date weeks ago. Please let me know what else to do to get the rpg feed flowing.
Thanks!

"Next volume:
Pathfinder #14—Second Darkness Chapter 2: "Children of the Void" (OGL) Print Edition (Pending)"
I can dl it only if it was already shipped to me? That sounds strange in the 21st century.
Can someone please zip it and shoot it over to me? I can't wait to get it...! My email is [redacted]. Thank you so much!
how can i get my hands on the pfd version of PF14? it doesn't show in "my downloads". please help!
I was thinking of having Telflamm act as Riddleport. We kind of reconsidered and will run this campaign with a contingent of Thayan spies (3 wizards, a thayan knight, a slaver and a minotaur slave) who were sent by an agent of the zulkir of divination who wants to put his hands on the magical weapon of the drow.
Any Thayan artpiece would be appretiated!

Mostly because we didn't have time to fancy up the map in that way. It would have been cool, but that was, alas, one area where we had to skimp in order to get the Player's Guide (and the other 1,200 or so pages of product) out the door to the printer in time for Gen Con. Deadlines kill the fun... I think it is better if it's quality then if it's on time :)

** spoiler omitted **
So... it's not all that geography reliant is it might at first appear. James, I was so happy to see you posting and then there was no reply to my question. Can you please let us know your opinion on this? You are the only one here who knows what FR locations would suit this AP the best.
What I will surely use is the Sea of Fallen Stars idea. The name itself gives a fantastic link to this AP. As for elven locations there is Evermeet, Evereska and for an old empire there is Cormanthyr. The sinful city by the water could be several things I think. I will look into them.
I look forward to your smart ideas guys...
Where do you think the campaign would fit the most in the Forgotten Realms?
I haven't decided yet but I am considering Cormanthor and a nearby lowlife city for Riddleport.
Please give me some ideas as the issues come out and we get to know more about the campaign.
I would be most excited to hear the writers thoughts on this! Thank you so much in advance!
We will surely play this AP with 4 good elven wizards and a half-elf sorcerer who were sent to investigate by the elven community. I look forward to seeing this campaign in full.

Regardless, I might continue this conversion if there seems to be an interest in my notes.
Keep it up man, this is exactly what I had in mind. We are all very keen on a Conan like barbaric, plains roaming, horse riding, no spellcaster (!!!), Chtulhu mythos like adventure in Narfell. Thanks for this info. I will also add my ideas later on.
Where could I find more info on Narfell besides the Unapproachable East and the FR sourcebook?
I would feel so much better... and all 6 of my players.
so what to do... heating up the scanner... wotc just ruined the rpg fun i had... what a bunch of idiots
I am getting so near to issue 148 with my players, please post the remaining online supplements! Thank you so much!
Hello everyone at Paizo!
Please post the remaining supplements for Dungeon 148, 149 and 150!
Big thanks in advance and for all that you have done so far to satisfy our endless hunger for quality artwork!
Charles Evans 25 wrote: I could imagine Iggwilv as having had some sort of connections with the demon-summoning rulers of the fallen ancient kingdom of Narfell. (If you want to completely change her background and tweak the realms to fit her in, ancient Narfell could become the kingdom which she once ruled.)
The PCs could at some point run into a supporting villain/henchman with ranks in the Forgotten Realms 'Nar Demonbinder' Prestige Class (See Unapproachable East 3.5 FR product) and some old manuscripts salvaged from Narfell, that mention or were written by Iggwilv.
Edit:
According to 3.5 sources Narfell fell 160 years before the Dale Reckoning (DR) began. See Lost Empires of Faerun 3.5 FR product for some background on Narfell that goes beyond the summary in the 3.0 FR Campaign Setting.
Perfect! Thanks mate!
We play STAP since november of 2006 and AOW since the summer of 2006 in shift, playing every week or every second week with a few months of only 1 game in it. We also did the weekend-house thing for 4 days (best switch off from reality ever). One session is about 10 hours of massive RPG.
In AOW we go against Dragotha in the 11th adventure out of the 12. In STAP we are at the Crimson Fleet base.
All who speak hungarian go to: http://www.elderbrain.com/forum
more begging and knee bending here as well!
Any ideas on the weeds effects? My version (based on Larissa Vanderborens journal):
Ingested, Fort DC 24, Addiction: High
- Initial effect: d4 WIS and d4 CHA damage
- Secondary effect: d4 WIS and d4 CHA damage
- Side effect: no hunger or pain for 2 hours
- Overdose: After second dose is taken: rage for 2 hours, -5 on spot checks >>> then exhausted for 2 hours
Wawaweeewow! This is cool mate! Absolutely cool!
Thanks and many more thanks! And keep it flowing guys ;) Oh and thanks again!
Just pass it over and i will do all of them! :) And sorry for bringing up this issue all the time this only means they are very useful.
We play on digital maps with a projector and photoshop... And a scanning doesn't do the same quality job as the original pdf data does.
I must also add my name (and my players names) to the list of DMs and players waiting for the release of these online supplements.
Please make it happen!
My players wanted to buy a medium wooden warehouse and i priced it at 5000 gp. What do you think?
the WotC site sucks bigtime as does their adventure modules. I like the part in the adventure books they published so far where it sais: At this point roll for initiative... WTF???
I totally boycott this crap... WotC should learn hard from it's mistakes. Totally sticking to Paizo for my dose of adventuring goodness!
Try putting the goblin song's lyrics into this site's demo tool: http://www.sitepal.com/
I have found this voice called Claire and her voice seems to catch the feeling of the goblins. If I will have time I will throw this sample into Sound Forge and make it sound more rythmic and goblinlike. Please post the result if anybody else tries it first :)

James Jacobs wrote: I just OK'd the Dungeon supplement for #145, so that should be going live tomorrow (if it hasn't done so already). #146 shouldn't be TOO far behind that one... thanks a lot James! and sorry for nudging you about this for so long! thanks again!
My players use it with invisibility all the time. Naughty combo... This made us propell through a few encounters but still, they had to turn back into corporeal once they wanted to fight or cast spells.
