This is the fourth character generator I've done. This one is for the Colonial Gothic (2nd edition) roleplaying game. CG is set in New England around the time of the American revolution and has a investigation-horror theme. Here's the link:
I can't find FAQ for this (please direct me to the official ruling): What does the basic "assume the form" do? Do I get all of the creature's basic stats?

Does Undead Anatomy I disguise you from undead? I mean, I'm surrounded by 4 wights and want to get this spell off. Will it immediately disguise me? Will the wights leave me alone? What about mindless undead? Your friendly, going-to-die Transmuter, jh
Transmuter needs to cast other spells while in beast form, how do I do this? I see natural spell feat is only for classes with wild shape (not transmuters). Thoughts?

Touch attacks are considered "armed" attacks so does weapon finesse apply to the "to hit" modifier? Animate dead doesn't specify humanoid. What are the limitations on this. Can it be cast on a horse corpse?
I'd be interested to hear if any of you have attempted to do this. I know I'd have to reduce the dungeon-crawls a lot more and get down to the essence, but I was thinking of running The Haunting of Harrowstone. It seems like one that may convert well. I've run skull & shackles for my kid players (yes, cutting out the non-kid stuff and playing it with the Pathfinder rules), and that might be kind of a neat one to inflict on my WFRP players as well, as the Dreadfleet WFRP3 print on demand was otherwise not really useful in my campaigns. Currently we're running new THE ENEMY WITHIN 3rd edition campaign and many times we will go 2-3 sessions in a row without any combat (characters avoid or think their ways past them instead). Combat becomes our mix-up vehicle and still fun though. I guess my main worry is that since Warhammer is such a non-extended-combat system that the 3 out of 4 players not playing combat careers would mentally uninspired by dungeon-crawly-ville. Although we played RAVAGER OF TIME (AD&D), I still had to modify the heavy dependence of combat as a plot-device. Seemed to play out ok though because it was pretty sandboxy with different factions, etc. Thoughts?
FFG is dumping all of their WFRP3 stuff on a sale. Does it mean reprint edition with minor rules tweaks or are they maybe dropping the line? They're selling it below wholesale, so I don't think its simply to drop stock (because it screws over the FLGS's). Another option is that they're making it really priced the way an RPG should be priced to try to snag some players. Speculations on their business decision?

Ffg's Star wars: Were they just being lazy using the WFRP3 engine or do they think they're on to something? Here's the deal: FFG's new Star Wars RPG uses the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd edition engine. I'm a fan of WFRP3 and play it weekly, but considering the flop it was commercially, was it really a smart idea to use that same system again? Yes, I know they're not using the excess of cards that WFRP3 had, but is the license alone going to be enough to gather success in the face of the WFRP3 losses? This brings us to: does a game system really even matter or is it really just about marketing? ..

I ran the demo/solo from the Hero's guide for my 10 and 5 year old (my 8 year old watched). Both of them just came home from school today wanting to play again. I think we're going to head in the mine from the supplemental before doing the main scenario. Note: I had the goblins get 'wounded' and run off rather than the usual murder-n-take-their-stuff approach ;) We did kill off the skeleton king I'm also cutting out the magic items from the print outs and handing them to them so they don't have to write down and reference. What's the benefit of a masterwork holy symbol? Masterwork thieves tools give a benefit to certain checks. Which are affected for holy symbol? Turn undead? jh
My cavalier has two-weapon proficiency and exotic wep prof for bastard sword. What's the penalty for attacking with both a bastard sword and the light crossbow in the same round? Is there an AoO? jh

My cavalier's mount has the Improved Overrun feat. My cavalier does not have Improved Overrun. Is my cavalier subject to AoO's during an overrun by the mount? jh
One of the giant flaws (?) of D&D (3.5 and earlier) was it's enormous dependency on magical items to balance the characters at medium and upper levels. Does Pathfinder still have this flaw, or are the characters more balanced? Thoughts? jh

Just curious..and can they be directed to attack someone independently? I.e. could I direct my horse to go attack someone (while I'm not on it) like an animal companion? Or are horses not allowed to be used like Druid or Ranger puppet animal companions? Thanks, jh

All: I did up a table of briefs of pre-req's and benefits of all of the legal traits and feats listed in the Guide to Pathfinder Society Open Play. I hope you find it useful to diversify your characters and get more use out of your Pathfinder library. Let me know on thoughts or errata.
