The ‘adjacent’ was causing some to view the spell more like vines growing on the floor. It makes sense to me that it’s a burst spell and requires a target location to burst from. Thanks!

Do black tentacles have any reach into the sky? ie, can a player fly over them? the the 20ft burst 'adjacent' is causing confusion.

If SS is as mismatched as my rise sub was delivered I will be ordering my expansions on ebay and killing my sub.

So this begs the question. Will you have a new printer now? And Will that mean my skulls and shackles sub will be as unevenly sized as my rise of the rune lords subscription?

Cause my rise sub is wildly marked as far as what cards are what.

I wasn't able to sign up with my family for any open events Friday Saturday OR sunday.. seems like there are farrrrrrrrr more tickets sold than events scheduled.

oh great, the servers were down or unresponsive the whole 2 hours after it went live, I get home from work and now all friday and saturday open events are full... stoked?

I get how 'house rules' can clear things up, but we're trying to solve these issues for PFS play.

Can I trigger a symbol that I created?

from this line of Symbol of Death,

'You are automatically considered attuned to your own symbols of death, and thus always ignore the effects and cannot inadvertently trigger them.'

it reads to me that I CAN trigger my own symbol, but not on accident.

Id love to know if you guys have any spots open for a level 1 witch with 1 encounter under his belt.

So it sounds like we'll be able to play without too much worry, great! Im going to find a few local events before July to get a few characters ready. Im in los angeles, and have contacted our local VC.

the lottery system still sounds about as poorly designed as getting a hotel for comic-con, but that's the system and Ill abide. We'll make use of the buddy system though, and Im sure we'll have a great time. As long as the GM's are getting into it and the players are as well I have no doubt it'll be fun.

Playing by post doesn't offer me any fun beyond 'grinding' I play pathfinder specifically for the social interaction. Hopefully we can play together a few times.

This lottery should be mentioned and more described before accepting payments as well. What if I were coming with a whole family that wanted to play with a new GM? I'd love more clear info regarding it before I really react.

As far as battery life goes, it's a non issue for me. I have a portable charger that's more than enough to sustain me for a day or 2.

Oh yeah. I'm addicted to planning out my path. I use hero lab to create my leveling path so I'll have a bunch of sheets ready. Is it frowned on to use an iPad for sheets? I know some people are very true to the medium, and I appreciate their efforts, but an iPad is way easier to use and carry than umpteen penciled in char sheets.

Hello! I've been playing PF for a little over a year now, and I love it! I'm going to be coming to seatle with my brother in law and I, and we want to play in the same society games.

Here are my questions,

If we roll our 2 characters, will be allowed to register those characters together at games? I've read that sometimes people give you the character that you're to play.. that doesn't interest me at all.

Do we really have to have all the books involved with our characters present with us at game time? Would cheat sheets/print outs work? I don't really want to lug our library to Seatle.

Will we know what races are offered as a *boon?* yet? or would it be safe to assume we should just use the CRB races.

Any other tips for 2 newb society members? we've both played a ton of PF.

the way the symbol functions makes sense to me, even though it feels very underdesigned.

Im just very curious if while the symbol is concealed the images replicate themselves during the 1round/level.

example of usage.

PreCast and Activate symbol.

Whole party sans caster gets an image.

symbol is placed in bag

1round/level left on images

Enter Combat

Round 1 an image is struck down, does this image reappear on that characters turn while the symbol is hidden, or does the symbol have to be visible for the images to have that refresh effect.

To me the wording says the image has the clause, 'If destroyed, refresh on next turn unless the duration of 1round/level has lapsed or the symbol has expired.

would love to get some feedback on my question if any of you GMs and other knowledgeable players could chime in.

Do the images refresh themselves during the 1rd/level?

ie. if the symbol were to be put away would those that were effected by the symbol have images that when destroyed refreshed on their next turn?
