so our playgroup is having a disagreement on this spell. here is the situation: hallway is 20 feet across large creature(enemy) is base to base with our large melee alchemist with long arm.I am standing behind the alchemist.I casts knights calling on la?rge enemy, he fails save. there is no way for creature to move to me(who is behind the alchemist) without taking an attack of Opportunity. i say he can move because his ONLY option is to move which starts an attack of opportunity because there is no way to get to me without hte attack. my buddy is stating that sence any movement would cause an attack he wont move who is right?
so im building a paladin for level 7
thinking of putting my lvl 4 stat bonus to int to make it 13 so i can use unsanctioned Knowledge feats
traits not sure yet want it to be a 2h guy but also have decent AC. any advice.
so im building a level 5 bloodrager for my campaign.
Is the urban bloodrager archetype worth using? is Arcane Strike a good feat to get with a bloodrager? right now im looking at taking Powerattack/combat reflexes/arcane strike now a wierd question is Two weapon fighting a possibility to use?
so im a new GM and im wanting to make an appropriate encounter for my players.
So this group contains players familer with pathfinder so i want to make it challenging. The way the book describes on how to calculate challenge rating for your group isnt to helpful to me. if anyone can give me examples on how you calculate how you decided how your encounters are fair for your players. I want it to be harder. Character death is possible but i dont want the encounter to mean they will die. i dont want the encounter to be a formality. I know the players think challenging content is fun.
so i have never made a range caster before(my magic experience comes from paladins and magus) My group is melee heavy and we have a summoner who can buff the party so i was thinking of making a magic DPS or a debuffer who can do damage. What class should i go? Casters are new to me. I was originally leaning towards physic or a phycic sorcerer, sense no one is an occult class. any help pointing me in the right direction would help. I know from past experience i dont like playing healers or buffer characters so i want to be able to do some damage. I was looking at samsaran physic with the Mystic Past Life to get access to some Occultist damage spells. Thanks in advance for any help
No 3rd party
so i just hit level 7 so i now have access to level 3 spells
so what spells do u guys suggest, i have scrolls of lighting and fireball so i dont need those. if i would take Monstrous Physique, what form is good for a blade bound magus
i was wondering if there is a way to get access to wizard spells as a psychic.
is there any other ways to get access to other spells. I hate playing classes where i dont have any true offensive capability
so im working on a barbarian starting at level3
i was thinking
what i was wondering should i get more strength or pick a race that would allow me to have more constitution to round out the character more. First time making a barbarian. so im curious. or even make my dex higher. im not sure what to do with this character. For story reasons i want it to have a strong dex score and i thought 15 would be good and probobly pump it at level 4.
im confused with the item creation rules so if someone can give me step by step instructions.
im making my magus and im wondering if i should take spell-scars or create scroll. creating scrolls does help my party and could make me money. but scars looks cool but limiting. im also wondering can i use scrolls with spell combat or if that's the whole reason to take spell-scars so u can use it in spell combat
Spell Recall (Su) At 4th level, the magus learns to use his arcane pool to recall spells he has already cast. With a swift action he can recall any single magus spell that he has already prepared and cast that day by expending a number of points from his arcane pool equal to the spell’s level (minimum 1). The spell is prepared again, just as if it had not been cast. does this mean i used all my 4 spells for the day, i can then recall a spell and cast it again, or im still capped at 4 spells and i just lose one of my other prepared spells
so im having a problem trying to play the situation my fellow players have put me in. one of them has taken a goblin baby and wants to make him a pet. the other character is supporting him. my old character got captured and im rolling a new one and my new character is about to be introduced. how do i deal with the fact they have a goblin being cared as a pet? like when my old character was with the group and they found the goblin they started to flip out when i attempted to kill the baby goblin. to the point they threatened to kill my character
my beloved bloodrager got captured last night and i am looking at maybe making a Magus because they look fun. i have been reading arcane mark is good with magus and i am trying to understand why. would anyone be able to explain how these are combed together to be something very good, i am just not getting it Previous Campaigns
