I'm a Pathfinder Battles subscriber. I've noticed a downward trend in overall quality with the minis over the last few editions. I'm growing concerned enough that I'm rethinking my subscription. I always get a couple of minis that are warped which need time with the hair dryer to reset them but my CoLO set had nearly a dozen squashed minis and almost as many where the mini wasn't glued correctly on it's base pin, giving it a stilted look. I wish I could attach pictures here so everyone could see how bad these are.
I received my PB case subscription yesterday (thank you for releasing it). I'm disappointed in a couple of things -- someone was lazy on the assembly line. In one box I received 2 Dwarf Champions. In another box in the same brick, I found 2 Bugbear Maulers. In a second brick, there were 2 Kobold Spellcasters in the same box. Yes, I expect duplicates but not in the same box. I think this is unfair, and I request 3 different minis. The Goblin Village is great -- but the gate to the pig pen arrived broken, and the throne is badly bent (like it went into the package hot) and I'm not sure quality time with the hair dryer is going to unbend it -- but I will try.
I logged in to order the play test and update my CC info for my subscription. Initially I used Firefox. The place where you add or change CC and select address did not display correctly, and information entered and selected wasn't saved. Switched to Chrome. Site still isn't remembering (cookies?) new CC (or old one which is invalid now). So I am unable to order the play test and my subscription is in limbo.
First, I got an e-mail that my PB sub was processed and couldn't be changed and would ship soon. Then it sat in my side cart for quite awhile. Now it has disappeared and it's not even in my order history. I think this may be part of the ongoing sidecart "needs a nudge" bug. It happened to my last CoF shipment, but in this case, I changed my shipping address and delivery option to ASAP.
Hello customer service and quality assurance ninjas. Just wanted to let you know, in my DD case, I had one Dragon Smiter with it's upraised arm and sword snapped off at approximately the shoulder -- it's wasn't present in the box or bubble wrap so I can't glue it back on. It won't be smiting anything, unless it somehow becomes a lefty. Also, noted one of the Giant Crawling Hands didn't get it's name and info stuff stamped on the bottom. No biggie -- it will just have to use sign language. 2 of the 4 Dwarf Sundering Axe figures had no paint detail on their faces. I can correct that, considering "happy faces". =) Otherwise, the rest of the minis made it in good shape and I'm pretty pleased with it.
Pathfinder Pawns: Inner Sea Pawn Box
I have a sheet with a printing error. The sheet isn't squared, so the pawns are significantly skewed and don't fit into their cutouts correctly. It's the sheet that along the top line starts with 'Silent Enforcer, a series of 'Sister of the Golden Erinyes' and ends with 'Sleepless Detective'.
Hello, I enjoy using PF miniatures in my games -- so much so, I recently subscribed. However, I have an administrative problem when it comes to minis. Is there an master index that tells how many of which specific minis are needed for a particular AP or module? IE, if a module called for 4 wraiths in one room, and 6 in another... I'd like to have at least 6 wraith minis to use for that module. It would be so helpful when preparing for an AP to have an accurate count of how many of a particular monster I need to have in stock. I hate having to substitute dice or markers for multiple monsters. It would be even more helpful if the master index of miniatures contained a cross-index where minis from one AP or modules can be substituted in other APs/modules. Got a succubus in one module? Well there's x number appearing in WoR too. It would be such a helpful tool.
If you're a BB DM/player and you're tired of being overlooked or ignored by Paizo... this free product should convert easily. http://paizo.com/products/btpy98nh It's The Silverhex Chronicles for Pathfinder Society - 6 quick, 1 hour long quests for first level characters. Almost perfect for BB players on a crunch.
Don't know if this the appropriate section... I very much like that the Paizo site keeps track of what I order, because sometimes cover art changes or I get forgetful of whats in my collection. I would like the option of informing the Paizo site of the products I already have in my collection (acquired elsewhere) and have it keep track of them too. That way, I won't accidentally buy something I already have. It would prevent return issues, and Paizo would get marketing info out of me on what I buy from the FLGS, what I like and make suggestions on relevant related products. |
