Is it just me or is naming everything feats confusing anybody else?

It's a feats-ure.

So, Oraiah Tolal looks like Dame Judi Dench.

The players essentially assassinated the BBEG -- they murdered him (by your account) instead of bringing him to justice before the town council.

Wouldn't the town council want to pass judgement and carry out punishment?

Twist: the BBEG knew the players were coming after him, but he needs time to prepare before confronting them... so he hatches a plan: it was a setup all along by the BBEG to cast the players in a bad light. A previously unknown (or known) minion (perhaps another member of the council) presents fake evidence countering the players and casting doubt on their side of the story... now everyone thinks the BBEG is dead, conveniently so. Meanwhile, the BBEG is very much alive and has made good his escape because the players only killed his doppleganger (how else could it have been so easy). Now the BBEG is ready to destroy the players at a time of HIS choosing.

I could twist this 3 of 4 more ways without too much trouble.

I've heard of people with a sordid past, but a "sorted past" is new to me.

OK, I did that (e-mail). Thanks for the help.

Now to enjoy all the Squealing Nords I received in the case -- or as we sometimes call them, 'bacon elementals'.

Wasn't there a post not too long ago that said there were new scenarios coming out for the beginner box?

If so can anyone help me find them.
We presented new short adventures for the Beginner Box at Gen Con. We have not yet released these for download.

Can we please get something official on the above -- will these be made available for download, or not? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I enjoy using PF miniatures in my games -- so much so, I recently subscribed. However, I have an administrative problem when it comes to minis.

Is there an master index that tells how many of which specific minis are needed for a particular AP or module? IE, if a module called for 4 wraiths in one room, and 6 in another... I'd like to have at least 6 wraith minis to use for that module. It would be so helpful when preparing for an AP to have an accurate count of how many of a particular monster I need to have in stock. I hate having to substitute dice or markers for multiple monsters.

It would be even more helpful if the master index of miniatures contained a cross-index where minis from one AP or modules can be substituted in other APs/modules. Got a succubus in one module? Well there's x number appearing in WoR too.

It would be such a helpful tool.

I quit using XP back in the early 80's during my AD&D campaigns.

IMO, tracking and assigning XP is busy work for the DM when they should be concentrating on orchestrating the game experience. I found that taking XP out of the equation had no adverse effects on players who wanted or didn't want to roleplay. Zero impact on motivation.

I decided when the players leveled up after a suitable amount of crawling and milestone achievement that prepared them for the next big adventure. It was more like a graduation process with a lot of anticipation on the players part. The only thing I really had to be mindful of was how the multi-class players advanced with the single class players. MC's generally lagged 2-3 levels behind the specialists and our balance was pretty good.

I find other ways to reward players who bring the 'awesome' to the table... I give out special poker chips during the campaign for notable events and actions. At the end of a particular epic campaign, the player(s) with the most chips might win a set of dice, a miniature that represents their character really well or some other tchotchke.

Having recently purchased the beginner box I was wondering if there are any plans to release other characters for this box set?

See this site for blowing the doors off your Beginner Box - contains many well done conversions (class and race). http://edowarsblog.wordpress.com/downloads/

Why is there such a long lead (more like lag) time between a Bestiary volume and it's Pawn collection? You'd think a book and it's pawn collection would sell together like peas and carrots, bacon and eggs... and now I'm hungry.
