Suddenly she's surrounded by a dense rainbow haze. That's better. Then she heads back outside. 		   Not that it matters since they missed, but where is the person shooting at Zhaxia? If they're in one of the other towers, I'm not sure they have line of sight on her since she's up against the front of the third tower. 		   I think you're right--certainly monks have had no issue that I know of w/mage armor. Zhaxia uses a charge each on Marius and CeCe. Then she stows her wand and pulls out the wayfinder on a chain around her neck. One activation later, a glow appears around her. Casting light from the wayfinder.

		   Influenza sucks, and I hope you're feeling better. Speaking of which, though, I got sick on travel, came back early, and spent a couple of days in hospital. I'm feeling OK except for being utterly wiped out most of the time, and should be able to catch up over the next day or so. (My work is being rather vehement about not coming back until at a minimum I've been checked by my doctor, and that won't happen until early next week. My followup with the surgeon will be late next week, so things may have to wait until then.)

		   A tall (though not as imposing as the rougarou), slender woman with markedly elven features wades through the water, looking faintly unhappy and occasionally shivering. "It's not the wet, it's the cold." She wears a colorful (if now mostly mud-hued) tunic and loose trousers, and a head scarf that matches her clothing. A light crossbow is slung over one shoulder. "I'm called Zhaxia Tilea." She glances down at the gnome with a warm smile. "My magic is that of the mind, not the elements, so we should provide complementary approaches to the problems we encounter. Oh, and I *have* learned the cleaning cantrip, so once we're out of the water I'll be able to dry us off."
