Just as a heads up. In case anyone is wondering why my avatar has changed, I'm working towards making a separate alias for Zera's Alter Ego, Obsidian Rose. It's something I should have done a while ago, but I'm still adapting somewhat to these forums.

Hopefully once we are onto the next quest/part, I'll have it sorted out and will be using the appropriate alias for whichever identity she is currently in.

Rose lifts an eyebrow at the Kellid woman, "In what world do that line even work?" she asks, he voice dripping with sarcasm. "Do you think think we're just going to lay down on your command? Your name is not inscribed on these items, as far as I can see. What claim could you possibly have over something that people have just walked over unknowingly for who knows how long?"

While traveling to Numeria, Zera reverts to her alter ego, Obsidian Rose. Being seen as a noblewoman in the wasteland of Numeria would probably seem more than a little strange.

Zera cleans the blood off her weapon and helps her friends as possible. She also sees to the wounded soldiers, hoping that the 'mesmiric' effect would be worn off them.

Seeing another ally fall, Zera puts on a serious face and focuses on casting a quick spell to make herself invisible, then moves into a better position to help out.

Vanish:
This spell functions like invisibility, except the effect only lasts for 1 round per caster level (maximum of 5 rounds). Like invisibility, the spell immediately ends if the subject attacks any creature.

Zera uses her innate ability to monitor the vitals of all creatures nearby (Deathwatch; At Will). She first checks on Torku to make sure that he is safe, then turns her gaze on the battle going on between her friends and the priest's guard. Zera pulls out her rapier, holding it in a defensive stance. And here I thought this might be a peaceful talk. Silly me. She quickly makes her way to the nearby pavilion to gain some cover from the deadly crossbow bolts.

Because Zera is currently in her Social identity, she is not wearing her armor (silly, I know). So her AC is only 12 (14 when she has Combat Expertise active). I would switch over, but it takes a full 5 rounds to do so.

Zera listens to thethe villagers' words with a bit of apprehension. "These people are certainly not in their right mind," she says to the others when they are out of earshot. "Ulisha seems to have been right on the mark. This priest doesn't seem to have their best interest in mind. Perhaps we should see about approaching the good friar before he starts his sermon."

Having to deal with common folk, Zera decides to revert back to her Human-looking Social form. At this point, I think she would probably trust her companions enough to let them in on her dual identity, but swears them to secrecy. Never thought of it until just today, but I should create a second Alias specifically for her alter ego.

Zera walks into town with her companions and talks with the townsfolk, gathering what information she can on the area. Once she's got as much information as she thinks there is to get, she asks a nearby local, "Pray tell, how could we meet this priest that we have heard so much about?"

Rose freezes and slowly turns to examine the area. "I hope some of you boys are good with animals. I'm a city girl, myself," she quips lightly, trying to mask the nervousness in her voice.

Before arriving at Gralton, Zera finds a secluded area out of eye- and ear- shot of anyone that happens to travel nearby. "Time to go to work, it seems," she says with a smile of anticipation.

The transformation takes only 30 seconds, but within the dark fires of the lower hells that engulf her, she changes from nearly human to a full-fledged tiefling woman. She has crimson-red skin and dark hair, protruding horns emerge from her head. Garbed in armor with a curved dagger at her hip, rather than a gown and jewelry. Shortly after, she emerges from her hiding place and travels the rest of the way to meet her companions, hoping to arrive before them. After all, she still appreciates a grand entrance.

When the others arrive, she is looking over the human body, seeing if there is any life left, or at least how it was killed. "Glad you could make it," she says to the first person who arrives. She doesn't look up from her examination immediately, but after a moment she stands. "I am known as Obsidian Rose, but Rose will do. Lady Zera sent me to help you here. I arrived and found this person here."
