Taking a 5' step behind Mal, Zephir chuckles.

Then attempts to stab the purplish hued creature.

now I should get an AoO against the white one if it comes up the stairs.

Moving in, to where he can stab at either critter, Zephir attacks Green Head.

Pressed into the rear-middle, Zephir is unable to attack or retreat, so instead he readies to stab if whatever they are should fly out into the hallway.

Seeing the make of the ranseur, Zephir will tear a strip from his outfit and tying it to the weapon sling it on his back...

Zephir looks in interest at the statue, but shrugs when he remembers nothing. He will examine the ranseur, and remove it if possible.

" Those are about the strangest critters I have ever seen..."
Zephir says as he kneels by one and examines it.
" Weird mouth parts and backward knees, but otherwise seemingly humanoid.."

Unable to reach the wounded barbarian, Zephir again tries to stab the horrible critter.

But is jostled by the spitting Tiberiu and merely stabs the wall.
" Careful there grumpy one! Aim your energy at the foe!"

Slamming himself against the wall, Zephir thrusts his glowing longspear around Tiberiu at the strange creature.
" Hello, Ugly!"

Zephir will slip down the tunnel past the others, staying along the wall.
Can't tell for sure but it looks like he would provoke, the way the tunnel goes.
Once in place he will turn and jab his glowing spear at the monstrosity.

The bad rolls begin again....

Zephir booms out at Mal when he quickly zips in front of him. Pausing he considers Mal for a moment.
" Hah! Maybe one so small also has need of pride of place... Hahaha, ok. You may be my shield...for my knees!"
He relents and lets the Halfling in front.

Looks like maybe Slaynn, Tor and Zephir...then I'm not sure...You got the weapon and light right. XD
" Hmmm. This was bricked up for a reason......Investigate? Or continue on... I'm leaning toward checking it out this time..."
Zephir ponders, then waits for the others ideas.
Just a note, he will recast light periodically to keep it going...

None of Zephir's equipment is MW, but he doesn't really have the money for it right now, and I would rather spend the money on a wand of CLW 1st. XD
" One vote for the main tunnel, none for the other. Continue? or does anyone else want to chime in? I vote we follow the main tunnel unless it goes on for a long while. I expect it will come out down the beach a ways, but my sense of direction could be off..."

He looks embarrassed and unsure of what to say. He does NOT mention Tsuto.

He will discuss things with the others for a while, then retire. He needs to be up early to pray and meditate.

" It seems they plan another attack! Though we don't have a timeline...Who is this Ripnugget fellow? Does anyone around here have knowledge of the area? If he favors a land approach to attack, they cannot be too far away!"
Glancing back at the notes again," And at least one bugbear with them. Does anyone know what a Malfeshnekor is? At least we know that the attack will partially come up from the tunnels. Maybe we should go there next? Need to have the alert spread through the town first, the attack might start above or below ground..."
Zephir seems more excited than worried...

"Not sure where he will end up, but he did exit through that long tunnel we passed earlier. It might be a way out of town somewhere, or a secret lair. Either way, we should get the town sheriff to place a guard on it 'til we can come back and check it out..."
Zephir says as he finishes healing the wounded warrior, if only slightly.
" Ahh. Milady Ameiko! It is good to see you up and around. We should head back to your inn to rest and plan. Maybe that grumpy Vin will be out there and we can send HIM for the guard!"
He then bends down and with some struggling manages to lift the elf over his shoulders, holding one of Slaynn's Arms over one, and his leg over the other.
"Nnngg. He's heavier than he looks..."
He grunts as he carries Slaynn toward the stairs.

I'm all for letting him go....for now. I mean I'm not injured much and can still go, but with Slaynn down, and no clw left.....
Yeah in my excitement at succeeding the heal check, I forgot that I already stabilized him. No worries. XD

no pressure DM. I don't mind if they join, But I also know the pain of running large groups. Had 8-11 in my RL group back in Colorado and it was fun at times, but major extra work...

Pulling out makeshift bandages, Zephir will attempt to aid his comrade.
Treat deadly wounds, restores 1 hp per level of victim, if successful. DC20. Uses 2 uses of healers kit ( don't have) -2 per missing kit/usage.

WOOT! Slaynn gains 2 hp! though I don't know where that puts him...I think at -1 still. bummer, can only do that once per injury set...
I really need to get a healers kit, cant always rely on magic!

Sliding up to Slaynn, Zephir lays his ungloved hand on his neck.

" Mayhap we should leave that closed for now. I have seen members of my order slap arrows away like that. They are usually very hard to hurt, mundanely or magically....."

Zephir states as he opens the door that is between Tiberiu and himself.
Tensing for more goblins he whips the door open and grabs his longspear with both hands.

" Agreed. Maybe we should let the sheriff know about this tunnel. It seems to go a looong ways. Also maybe check the upstairs and the remainder of this basement, then rest before entering the tunnel? seems like it may be a long trek in there..... And I am low on healing just now... Although with what we saw in the glass room, I am nervous about Ameiko..."

Zephir holds his spear up to light the room.

Meaning to look around the room, he finds himself examining Tiberiu's wounds instead.
" Heh. Sorry Tiberiu, in the excitement I forgot you were hurt."
He says as he reaches out and touches the man on the shoulder, sending an electric shock of healing down his back.
