Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber
Just ran this tonight, had fun with it! Nice to have a wide variety of skill checks, I think everyone did something vital tonight which is great. Couple of notes, just for future GMs:

There's no grid because it's just for reference, it's not a combat map, and I presume if there were it'd be 1 square = 60 feet or something nuts. Each pillar is as far apart as the plot demands. Traveling between pillars takes some amount of time, but not a whole setup phase (I plan to say it takes 10-15 minutes to get in the spaceship, power it up, hope the relatively short distance and land safely).

I presume it works the same as the Skittermander boon, meaning it's only "slotted" once you've earned it and it's attached to that character. I'm willing to be wrong though. My question, to which I presume the answer is "no," but I know I'll get asked: can a player donate more credits to check more boxes? (also, Hemlock is my new second-favorite NPC, behind a certain Ysoki)

Sangoro: The scenario calls out that she only had the info because we did and she's hacked our systems, not because she had it first or anything, so I'm fine with it. The Society presumably takes time to mobilize forces, gather its high-level agents, get approval, wash the ships etc, while she may be faster about getting on the road because her organization is faster/hungrier/less concerned with paperwork/has less Jinsul blood on the windshields.

I love eating apples! One of my players hates apples now for some reason. Unsure why. 2-09 Spoils: I suspect she's about to become a much more public figure, based on a recent news report I caught. The problem may not be tracking her so much as "proving that she's done anything bad."

1) Yes
Also I am fairly certain getting ashed is permadeath short of a Reincarnate spell. Relevant text from Raise Dead:
I don't think Starfinder has a True Resurrection analog, but I could be wrong.

If a player plays an adventure at a tier they don't have a character for, they can't apply the chronicle sheet until they reach the level it was played at (in this case, either level 7 or level 5, depending on the subtier). As for that particular bit of treasure, while they do get to "claim" it, that's just flavor to my understanding, they still have to purchase any items in order to actually have them for their character.

Per the Society guide, players only get XP for completing at least 3 encounters, and get Fame if they complete the success condition. Based on this, I would say your absent players would get: - 0 XP
The two that jumped in would get the game, just probably a different amount of credits. That's what the rules as written say to me. That being said...this seems very strict and I might be off base?

I had him hang out in the corridor fiddling with the device until the PCs caught up to him; it seemed the simplest and it definitely feels like they're supposed to catch him. I suppose if they dawdle about it you could have him slip away but I didn't see a reason to punish them.
