Hmmmm, I spoke with Rizz in discord, we are not starting with guns everywhere. So may I present RH's Aasimar Angel-Blooded (Angelkin) Bloodrager: Archetype:primalist Bloodline:Celestial I need to add one more trait, and finalize the beginning feat, but that will certainly be done by the recruitment deadline.
Hmmmm, I'm in a long running Wrath of the Righteous, so would also pass on it. Anyway. I'm up for options, but don't feel obligated Morana. If you sort something out that you want us to be a part of, shoot us a PM. If not and you just want to run a game, post a recruitment thread and we'll apply like everyone else.
Igar The Terrible wrote: This makes me incompatible with this party. I refuse to be taken down by whatever it is you are trying to do. I hope it is innocent but I feel like I am being tested and broken. Refuse to be taken down? I'm so very confused, But I'm going to assume that it was rhetorical, and you do not want to answer questions. I wish you had expressed yourself earlier so the divide could have been addressed. As I said, I will ask a lot of question; partially to learn others style, partially to cover my own insecurities. If you'd have looked at Miteke's game that I play in when he recommended me, you would have seen the same type of questions even though he and I have been playing together for around a year. Having done so, may have help you understand me better and potentially selected someone else. There was no evil on my part, I am disappointed that you did not respond to my PM. Having said that, I wish you good gaming and hope we can play together. If not as GM/player than as players in the same game. Morana, if you wish to run the game, I would recommend doing a recruitment. If you want to give the three of us preference, I'd list that in the recruitment, so the other applicants know what they're getting into. If you're just looking to run a game, I'd love to play 'Kingmaker' Ardran your character was interesting; I was confused by a lot of the stuff you were doing in the name of 'being funny.' It may just be a preference in style or humor, but it felt contrived and forced to me. Farod, what can I say? I'll see you in 'Skull and Shackles' :) Folks thanks for giving it a shot, Good luck and good gaming.

Igar The Terrible wrote: That statement by me is long overdue. More than ready to end this on my part. It is nothing but frustration which I did not sign up for. So Sad, the point is for all of us to be having fun. Any questions on my part were to develop a feel for playing style, not to frustrate. I will admit that my learning style does involve discussion which includes asking questions, but I try to do it without being frustrating. But, if the game is that frustrating this early on, maybe we should end it now instead of later.
Realizing Ardran was getting a little testy, Wulfgar raises a hand, "Ok ok, if you say you were playing with the wig and it attacked you, then I'm sure that's what happened." He looked at Farod and rolled his eyes hoping the half orc could construct some story about how terrible the 'wig monster' was to calm Ardran fragile psyche. In the meantime he continued carefully proceeding ahead.
Turning from his attention towards the door, Wulfgar watches Ardran get in a fight with what appeared to be a wig. Scratch his head asking, "So weren't you just manipulating that with your magic?" Then he poked at the 'dead' wig with his glaive. "Then you pretended it attacked you, then you stabbed it with your Bec de Corbin and now you're thanking your god that she delivered you from it?" He raises an eyebrow as he looks at Ardran, "Or am I misunderstanding the situation?" Shaking his head, he continues. "I'm feeling better let's proceed and hope we don't find any more of these 'man eating wigs'." His glaive at the ready, Wulfgar moves towards the exit and steps through the doorway into the next room, keeping a keen eye out as he goes. perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Nocticula? Goddess of artists, midnight and exiles? Hmmmm which is Ardran, an artist I assume? As a fine arts major in college and someone who worked eight years on third shift, I'd say I fit two out of three; three out of three if it counts that I've not lived in the state I was born in for fifty-eight years :) mmmm watch over teenagers, nice. I spent eight years working at a treatment facility for 'at risk youth,' most of it on third shift. That's when I started to play here on the boards. We could do stuff to occupy ourselves to help stay awake, but anything with sound made it hard to hear if the youths were moving about. So I started reading what was going on in modern Table top RPG's and eventually started playing. Well, Whimsy is a subdomain :)
I hadn't thought about it much, but with a list of

Sadly, I only speak English, and that not well. But for what it's worth I have two daughters, one is bilingual, the other trilingual and her master's degree is in teaching English as a second language. So at least my children are doing better than me. And isn't that the hope of all parents?
As the last blue thing dies, Wufgar nods in agreement with Morana, "Yes well done," As he returns the morning star to his belt he asks, "Does anyone know who they were? I'd like to know who I'm picking a fight with. Normally where there are four there are more." As Farod points his bow towards the door Wulfgar gathers his glaive, again keeping one eye on the door and the other on Ardran, as he magically inspects the toupee.

Raising an eyebrow as the little blue thing moved closer and slashed at Ardran with his dagger, Wulfgar drops his glaive and as he draws his morningstar, tsks. "You have to give it to the little fellow. He's brave." Lifting the morningstar high he swings it down at the last yellow opponent, "But he should have ran." Free action, drop glaive, move action draw morningstar, attack: Morningstar
Hmmm, satisfyingly Morana picked up on the line. But Sadly Ardran, I don't know any of those bands. I will have to go listen to them and get back with you. I'm a big fan of quality electric guitar work, whether: Jazz, Blues, punk, Rock or metal. Even some Country western (but I've not heard much....). Do you have a recommendation where to start? Edit: Sabaton's 'to hell and back' is quite fun,
Surprised by the little blue creatures, Wulfgar, asks, "Who are you?" Feeling that they were intent on attacking, Wulfgar realizes Farod got the same impression as he nailed one of the little guys to the wall with an arrow. "Well shot Farod!" Having taken his eyes off the others for a moment admiring Farod's shot, he raises an eyebrow as two of them rush forward trying to stab him with their steely knives. Asking "Really? You fellows probably should have ran." Stepping back as Ardran smashes one of the little blue men, Wulfgar slashes with his glaive at the other red one. 5 ft step, attack: Glaive power attack.
Hearing the conversation below and behind him, Wulfgar raises an eyebrow, but keeps his attention ahead. As the others come up the stairs, he moves into the room keeping a keen eye out as he heads towards the door. Moving that direction, he's intent on being able to defend the group if anything untoward enters. As he nears the doorway he asks, "Do you think anything might be contained in the pillar bases?" Again taking 10(14) on perception for the room they are in, and waiting, close enough to the for to be able to AOO anything coming through.
Hearing Ardran's comment about 'harvesting' the bugs, Wulfgar pauses at the top of the stairs. Glaive in hand, his halo illuminating the room, he carefully watches for any attackers; waiting until the others join him. Sorry, didn't mean to move to quickly. Igar, Wulfgar will take 10(14) on perception at the top of the stairs until everyone is good to go.

Nodding his head in agreement with Ardran, Wulfgar adds, "Yes, well done." Seeing the two halves of the bug he chopped still glowing, he points to one half with his glaive. "Hey Farod, you could stick one of those on the end of an arrow and use it instead of the torch." He slowly smiles, trying to seem fairly serious about the idea. Moving to the steps, he carefully inspects them, then glaive in hand and halo illuminated, he begins to head up to the next level. perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
As Ardran whispers 'on your lead' Wulfgar looks up at Morana and Farod nodding. Turning from the others he steps forward out of the hallway into the antechamber. Lifting his glaive, he chops at the nearest Blue firebug. 5 ft step, attack: Glaive power attack.
Nodding as Morana unslings her weapon, Wulfgar ask, "Adran, you want to keep your weapon at the ready in case we miss and one attacks? Or do you want to use your sling as well?" Realizing he would be blocking both of the shooters, he nods to the area outside the hall. "I will step into the room and stab at the first one." He nods towards the bugs, "Farod, you take the one in the middle, Morana take the far one?"
Looking from the glowing bugs to his friend, Wulfgar shakes his head. "I'd rather not risk anything." Scooting to the left as far as he can he asks, "Should I stab at the nearest one, while you shoot at one of the others?" Turning he looks at Morana and Ardran. "Do one of you want to try and shoot the other? Or wait till they fly this way and attack?"
May I assume the boxes also only held brushes, rags and polish? Seeing only janitorial supplies, Wulfgar nods to Morana, "As do I." Leaving the supplies where he found them, Wulfgar picks up his glaive and continues down the hall, until he reaches where it appears to open into a room. Pausing at the entry, he keeps a keen eye out looking for a possible way out, and any possible threats. perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
As Farod checks the shelves for anything unseemly Wulfgar nods in agreement, "I don't think the others glowed, maybe this isn't one of those." He looks at the others, "Any ideas what it may have been?" Once Farod gives him a nod, Wulfgar will start opening the bags and boxes on the shelf, carefully checking each. Will take 10(14) on checking the shelves. Unless something jumps out and attacks :)
Chuckling at Ardran's phantomime, Wulfgar leaves the safety of the large chamber and enters the hallway to observer the small alcove better. He begins to examine the bags and boxes, then his eyes catch the insectile exoskeletons. Looking down, having a gift for the obvious, he points. "Dead fish-boned bugs." He pauses, looking at the others. "Do you think something killed them or they died of old age?" Shrugging, he continued, "Either way, we should be careful." Leaning his glaive against the wall, he looked at the shelves, not wanting to make the same mistake twice. Asking, as he points at the shelves. "Any of you see anything dangerous?" if they don't notice anything hazardous he will attempt to start opening bags
Finishing handing off the small pieces of rubble, Wulfgar turns to fetch his pack. Turning to Ardran, he nods towards Moranna, "She does good work, right?" As he tucks the crowbar back into the pack and then shoulders it, he asks the Skald, "What was that poem you did anyway?" Retrieving his polearm from against the wall, He takes one last look at the now covered hole. Turning to Morana. "I think it's fine work indeed." Shrugging, keeping a straight face, "Too bad none of us have a familiar to send in and take a look around." Turning towards the door, he waits long enough to make sure everyone is ready to go. Exiting back into the greatroom, he turns left heading for the final doorway. Pausing at the doorway, Glaive in hand, he looks around. perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Nodding in agreement with Farod, Wulfgar leans his polearm against the wall again, and takes off his pack. Taking out the crowbar, he points to the smaller pieces. "Here, use the crowbar and pack the little pieces in tight." After he hands off the crowbar he begins gathering some of the smaller pieces of rubble from the sarcophagus and setting them down beside the larger rubble Farod is dragging in. I don't know if anyone wants to use the crowbar, if not we'll pretend he sat it down.
As Morana volunteers to peak in the hole, Wulfgar shrugs, not sure why she needed to ask. Looking at the others. "You've got the best vision for it." Gesturing toward his leg that she heeled, smiling; "Just watch out, they spit." As she peaks in he asks, "Shall we fill it with rocks or will something else fit better?"
Well, your opinion carries as much as the rest of ours, it's just you may not scream it as long or as loud. I don't remember if Ostovites was said in game or not I just like referring to them as fish-boned bugs :) If this came up in game Wulfgar would point out that the bugs have ruined the lid of the sarcophagus, whereas the bone snake didn't. And the 'tunnel' looks like something dug in.
Rolling his eyes at Farod's response to Morana's question, Wulfgar turned to the crevice to see if the fish-boned creature came out or if they would need to block it with rubble. While they waited expectantly, Wulfar answered Farod's observation. "We could take the rubble from the sarcophagus lid and use it to fill the crevice." He shrugs "Since the things spit acid, they will be able to get through, but it may take a bit." Hoping to himself that the rubble would hold long enough to let them leave the tomb and notify the officials that something strange was going on.
Realizing he hadn't considered the finer points of 'tomb robbing' Wulfgar shrugged, then unshouldering his pack dropped it beside the sarcophagus. As he opened his pack, he wasn't really sure how to response to Ardran's comment about not being in As Wulfgar retied and shouldered his rucksack, he listened to Ardrans plan. Moving back to the doorway he picked up his glaive and standing near the door to prevent said Ostivites exit, he prepared to stab the fish-boned bug. As Ardran stared reciting something that sounded like poetry in a guttural evil sounding language, Wulfgar paused scratching his head, fearing he may have misunderstood the plan. As requested, for anything in particular?
Question Ardran who's sling bullets are you using? I didn't see any on your sheet, but I did notice that you spent a gold piece on a sling. Slings are free. So, did you spend an entire gold piece on bullets? That's like one hundred bullets at fifty pounds...so now you've used three, leaving ninety-seven bullets and carrying forty-eight and a half pounds of lead? :)
Seeing the silver and jade adornments, Wulfgar scratches his head. Gesturing, towards the decorative destroyed bridle. "Is it grave robbing if it's a horse?" Tucking his Kunai in its scabbard, he shrugs. "Not like we can use it for anything. And if we try and sell it what are we going to say? 'We stole it from the most famous tomb in town.'?"
Seeing the fish-boned bug run to the crevasse in the corner Wulfgar stepped through the doorway and leaned his polearm against the wall. Drawing his kunai from its sheath on his pack strap gesturing towards what seems to be a sarcophagus for a horse. Shrugging, "OK, now I just need to know. What do you bury with your horse for the after life?" Tucking the tools tip under the lid, he attempts to move it. Shaking his head, he gestures towards it. "Could one of you lean on this with me?" he then leans into it again. str: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 = 9
