I agree that making a larger plan might help out so that we can better plan for the future.

Wilhelm waits to see if these dinosaurs are going to attack.

Wilhelm drinks with everyone else after the speech and then he stands up.

"Thank-you for your inspiring words Alamander."

Wilhelm waits for any chatter to die down before speaking.

"Today I look out at you all and I am filled with pride and joy. I am proud of what I have seen each of you doing to help out in this new beginning. I am proud of what you all have accomplished in such a short amount of time. Seeing you all united in the bonds of nationhood brings me joy. While Acvana may have led us all here never forget that all of this." Wilhelm motions at this point to the newly built town. "Could not have been possible without you and your labor. I stand here today with a dream. A dream that one day this nation will grow into an empire that shall rival even the old Azlanti! I dream of a day when we will no longer have to worry about famine, plague, or war! A day where our children and our children's children will be able to roam the land without fear of demons, undead, or even their fellow man! I know that this dream can become a reality, but I cannot do this alone. I ask each of you to help me with this dream, so that we all might live in a land of peace, but I will not lie to you. There will be times of trouble before we can see this dream realized. There will be times of war, plague, and famine, but if we work together then we will be able to push through these dark times ,and reach the hour of our dreams realization. So, will you stand with me? Will you all work with me to make this dream a reality? We can do this as long as we all stand together!"

I agree with that.

I think we need to decide on a coronation if we have one and then I think we need to have a dino training sequence and then we just need to start exploring.

"Thank you for this Orsano I think it will make a nice crown. I also believe that we can all work together to make this kingdom better but don't be afraid to act if you think that it will help out. I want to work with others who will speak their minds when they believe it needs to be done and act when they also believe it needs to be done."

Sorry about lack of posting in discussion but my discussion tab was apparently not updating that there were new posts here so I will try to answer some very old questions and some very new questions as I play catch up.

1)Wilhelm is fine with putting his bonus from leadership into Loyalty
2)I also agree with our current Promotion, Taxation, and Festival
3)Party composition looks fine to me but I also agree that eventually we should each adventure with all of the members of the group.
4)I can't say much about other people's leadership positions since that is each person's individual choice.
5)It appears majority has already said on the name for the kingdom, and city but both of those names seem cool so I have no complaints there.
6)Wilhelm would style himself as a king and after the kingdom grew a bit then he would start to consider calling himself an emperor.
7) We gained some experience but what leveling track are we using?
8) I agree that the people who have come here should have some sort of celebration for themselves and the coronation could be one of the 6 festivals that we have planned for the kingdom.
9)I also like the idea of using the new crown that Orsano suggested for the same reasons that he did. We plan to conquer at some point and time and that won't be pretty.
10) Wilhelm would be spending most of his downtime trying to get to know all of his fellows better and assisting them in whatever projects they might be doing.

"Thank you for showing me this Alamander. I shall begin looking for someone who can get contacts with a nearby city immediately."

Wilhelm walks into the room and picks up the crown and placing it in Alamander's hands to wait for the coronation. Then Wilhelm will wait for Alamander to reseal this part of the temple and then over the next few days he will begin trying to find someone who could possibly start buying goods for building with the gold in the temple.

I think the election idea is a good one after each king or queen dies.

Wilhelm nods to Orsano. "Thank you for your support friend. I shall do my best to make sure that I live up to your expectations."

Wilhelm then looks at Dexter. "I will easily make that pledge Dexter for I meant nothing other than that from the beginning. No man or woman shall be turned away from a position simply because they don't worship Acavna."

"You seem to forget that I am a man Dexter and not a goddess. My will is my own as are my choices. The fact that I have faith in Acavna is again a choice I have made and it seems to have led me down a good path so far. I have never said that if I became king that I wouldn't accept other gods being worshiped here. Acavna is the goddess who brought us all here, and without her we wouldn't even be here since a meteor would have killed all of our ancestors! Simply having a worshiper of Acavna as ruler is the least we can do for her, and it won't tell the other nations that they can't ally with us. I won't be some lack-wit who will just ask a goddess for her opinion on every choice of the kingdom."

"Very well."

Wilhelm stands up.

"I have spoken to each of you of my dream for an empire. I want to see this entire land united under one cause so that this world might know peace. I have seen this vision and my being is devoted to seeing it realized. I claim a relation to the throne of the Azlanti and also as a member of the Knights Griffon I now before all of you make my bid for a throne, and the throne. If you will have me as your king I shall do my best to be a noble and just lord so that this entire land might prosper. Others might not listen to their fellows but you seven have seen the same visions I have and that means that each of you is just as important to this dream. Please join with me so that we might once again raise an empire like the world has never seen."

Wilhelm then sits back down having spoken his piece.

"A triumvirate would keep all of the power out of one man's hands, but isn't a king's council supposed to do the same? With a monarchy you have one clear line of succession and if that becomes too muddied you can ask Acavna for her choice in the king. In a triumvirate you would lose the purity of purose that a king offers as you would have three leaders who would be constantly in flux. You would have people campagining to become a member of the triumirate and the three who were already a member would have to campagin to keep their position. While I agree with Urzan that there should be only one chief maybe we should let the goddess decide who the chief should be?"

Wilhelm would have left an impression of a man with a grand dream. He would help out anyone who asked for assiatance, and in their downtime he would speak of his vision of an empire streaching from one end of the world to the other. He woould have asked from the very begining if all of you would help him with making this dream a reality. When the refugees arrived he would have been seen trying to arrange all of the pilgrims into groups so that they could easily be identified and helped. When the influx got too large he would ask all of his companions for help so that no people would have to suffer. His biggest impression would be that he completely trusts his fellow dreamers in their areas of expertise and that they would do their best to help out those in need.

Wilhelm nods at the suggestion of a prayer.

"Opening this discussion with a prayer would do us all some good as each of has gained some peace since we have reached here."

After the prayer is over Wilhelm will get right down to business.

"Acavna has gathered us here for a reason. I think we can all agree that we should be the ones to solve the problem of rebuilding since we were the first to receive the dreams. We must untie the people who have come here under one banner so that all of our work can go to creating the vision of this city that we all saw that night. To that end, I suggest that we create a monarchy so that the people might have a king who gains the right to rule from Acavna herself."

I was waiting on everyone to get in a post before speaking so that we could all be a part of the conversation.

The first thing to get started with the pilgrims would be farmland and then create defenses. If these can be done at the same time all the better. After that we should be free to focus on building more without worrying about all of the pilgrims dying.

Wilhelm can't help but smile as he recalls the last few months. Even though the work was hard no-one could deny that what they were doing was the goddess own work. Thriving in this enviorment even with the lack of materials or maybe because of it Wilhelm feels better than he has working for any other cause before. When the first refugees began to arrive Wilhelm was shocked that so many people had begun having dreams, but it only reinfored his belief of the groups divine right to raise their empire.

Wilhelm walks into the conferance room while still fully armored, and carrying his falchion. He scans the room, and seeing Orsano nods before sitting down in another seat. Not really caring where he sits as long as there are still seats for everyone.

HP rolls: 3d10 + 10 + 12 ⇒ (8, 10, 1) + 10 + 12 = 41 And with this Wilhelm should be done.
