Whiskeyjack blew through his remaining healing spells to get Adder back on his feet, then poked and prodded everyone with his healing sticks, leaving bruises in place of more serious wounds.
As Vladlena disintegrated the body, the dwarf went over and put a heavy hand on her shoulder.
"We did i', lass. Finally we did i'. I's been a long row t' hoe since th' Perfessor's funeral, bu' we stuck i' through t' th' end. May this be th' last time th' Whisperin' Way ever be heard of in Golarion, by our hands. Le's take th' time fer them drinks, an' get back t' Laurel as quick as spi', t' eb lettin' her know tha' we did i'."
He grinned at the halfling, and then to the others.
"An' yer all welcome t' come, too! We couldnae be doin' this withou' ye, fer yer own reasons or nae."
Whiskeyjack agreed with Wren that the tower and the surroundings needed to be checked for notes, and that a local division of Iomedae's army might need to spend a year here cleansing the place. He had the feeling that they hadn't heard the last of the Whispering Tyrant, but for now it was over.

Yes indeed, thanks to everyone. Thanks to GM Spiderbeard for taking us through 5 books. Thanks to motteditor for taking over and pressing through to the end.
Special thanks to Vladlena who is the ONLY player to have been here from the beginning.
Wren - oh boy, what to say. You were a PITA and a blast to play with
Adder - The strong silent one, a nice change of pace with Wren and Bronin around
Bronin - never before have I so wanted to smack the supercilious pompousness out of a young noble, and yet wanted to keep traveling with him
Elena - Name confusion aside, I loved the way you played the "barmaid out of her depth but growing in power" character, and Potpie was the BEST supporting character ever!

Whiskeyjack moved up to try and put the horrible creature between himself and Adder for a little dwarven pump and dump. Then, shield raised high, he began the rhythmic pounding of his undead-hating hammer against undead flesh.
Whiskeyjack writhed and twisted as the electricity reamed his body. Several patches of hair and beard crisped as he flailed in the air. Somehow he managed to hold onto his weapon, thought he was all but dead after that spell. Gasping out a prayer to Angradd through cracked lips, Whiskeyjack healed some of his wounds, then looked about to see the others' condition. He flew to the aid of the others, flanking the lich and lashing out with his empowered hammer.

"Th' end, er th' beginnin'? Seems we spent th' last year an' more chasin' this thing an' now I cannae believe we be jest walkin' up here t' end i' all. Somethin' tells me th' world be changin' this day. Fer better or ill, I cannae be saying, but me beard be itchin', an' tha's ne'er a good sign."

As they prepared to crest the tower, Whiskeyjack placed another divine power spell on himself and a communal protection from evil on the entire party. Find himself on the distant battlefield, his red beard cracked with a smile and he said "Aye Lord, this be wha' ye been sayin'. Time t' be laettin' ye out, I be thinkin'!"
Whiskeyjack reached over to Bronin and bestowed some of Angradd's blessing on the man, then hoisted his shield and began closing with the target.
Bronin:
War Mind (minor): At 1st level, you can touch an ally and grant it a tactical advantage for 1 minute. At the start of its turn each round, it can select one of the following bonuses: +10 feet to base land speed, +1 dodge bonus to AC, +1 insight bonus on attack rolls, or a +1 luck bonus on saving throws. Each bonus selected lasts for 1 round.

Whikseyjack took the full brunt of the cold miasma in the face, and it threw him off a bit. Opening his eyes, he saw that the dragon hadn't managed to go far, so he powered up his weapon and floated forward, swinging right and left.

Whiskeyjack is caught completely unprepared as the nightwing breathes a blast of cold on him. Shivering, he popped a Divine Power spell on himself and flew forward, leading with his enchanted hammer.

Whiskeyjack was startled as Wren whisked him away from the haunt. He was preparing to being Angradd's wrath down on it when he realized that it was probably a one-and-done thing. It would take a while for the spirit to store that kind of energy up again. They could deal with it later...if there was a later.
"Le's be movin' on. I be havin' a bad feelin' tha' there is sommat ahead tha' cannae be waitin' too much longer fer us t' be dilly dallyin'!"

Whiskeyjack panted and puffed as he stoically headed up the stairs, occasionally looking off the side to see how far up they were.

"Birdbrain, direct my spell!"
Whiskeyjack yelled out, even as he fell slowly down from the lofty height he had been at. As soon as Wren pointed out the rough location of the creature, Whiskeyjack finished the incantation he was recitng and launched a brilliant burst of energy up into the ceiling.
Casting Burst of Brilliance in the area Wren indicates. With a 10-foot radius, I am hoping that a close enough miss will still hit, but that's up to you, oh beneficent GM.
Burst of Radiance:
This spell fills the area with a brilliant flash of shimmering light. Creatures in the area are blinded for 1d4 rounds, or dazzled for 1d4 rounds if they succeed at a Reflex save. Evil creatures in the area of the burst take 1d4 points of damage per caster level (max 5d4), whether they succeed at the Reflex save or not.

Whiskeyjack nodded at Lena and readied his hammer and shield before moving into the room with Bronin. He was getting the hang of this whole flying thing, though it was as unnatural to him as Wren was.

Whiskeyjack was weary. Not tired, but weary. He needed rest and he needed spritual cleansing. This place was...well, if he had to put words to it he would probably say that this area was like emotional and spiritual chains that wrapped themselves around him and fell into an abyss of despair and futility. The dead angels, the skeletal tower, and the necromantic energies that permeated the entire place...it was draining. Of course, he wouldn't put words to it. That was not his way.
Whiskeyjack pulled his hip flask out, murmured a few words under his breath and passed his hand over it. When he tipped the canister to his mouth, it was brimming with the finest aged dwarven whiskey. Without a word, he passed it over to Lena, stolidly following Wren to their nighttime hideaway.

Whiskeyjack got out one of his sticks of healing and began whacking anyone with a visible injury. It was a good thing they had tons of these things, because they had been going through them like crazy.
"Th' elf may be righ'! I be down t' me last few spells, an' most o' them ain't th' good ones. Think we be havin' time t' be takin' a break fer th' night? Hate th' thought o' gettin' here an' backin' away, bu' hate th' thought o' dying needlessly cause we be too tired t' dodge."

"Hold still an' be whalloped ye overgrown bi' of shadow! Dinnae ye know ye're supposed t' be fallin' down quickly when th' hereoes go a' ye?"
Whiskeyjack wound up in another heavy blow, trying not to overbalance this time. Flight made some thigns easy, all right, but it made getting a firm foundation for fighting kind of difficult.

When Lena's spell hit him, Whiskeyjack felt like the sun had peeked through the clouds on a gloomy day. His find felt clear and his arms strong. He looked at the Nightwalker and a huge grin split his fiery red beard.
"Looks like ye been carryin' aroun' too grea' a load. Le' me take a little off th' top fer ye!"
The dwarf rocketed towards the Nightwalker, his hammer glowing with goodly energies and his shield shining with the brightness of Angradd's glory.

"Elena, tha' be lookin' like i' be doin' th' job!" Whiskeyjack stared around the tower in awe as he wondered how much damage it would take (and where) to bring it all down.
"Well Bronin, wha' d' ye be thinkin'? Th' cultists all be up a' th' top?"

Seeing that the others were waiting on him, Whiskeyjack hefted hammer and shield and darted forward, bringing the hammer around for a testing blow on the undead to the right.
Whiskeyjack lashed out at where the dragon had been just a moment before, spinning an almost complete circle int eh air as he missed his target. He flew forward, hoping to land another good hit, but it wasn't natural for a dwarf to fly. All well and good for that birdbrained elf, but dwarfs were meant to be solidly on ( or even underneath) the ground.
Whiskeyjack felt the hit as he raced in, but the pounding he gave the dragon was worth it. He swung at it again as it tried to go after Lena, his fight waking his attack a little wobbly.
"Come back 'ere an' figh', ye maggot-ridden pox bucke'! I be takin' worse hits from the sand fleas in me britches then ye be dealin' ou'! An' ye be callin' yerself a dragon. A half-rotten flyin' worm ye be!"
Whiskeyjack gave himself a touch of healing then flew in after Bronin, again bringing his hammer in like a thunderstrike.

WHiskeyjack's alcohol-addled mind had specific protections up against mental effects, and the swig of holy juice he took before the battle certainly didn't hurt. Casting an empowering spell on himself, he saw Adder rocked by the fire and shot forward, raising his hammer up and bringing it down on the dragon's crest as hard as he could.

Yes, not risking the AoO
Whiskeyjack will convert one of his prepared spells into a healing spell for himself, then another for Bronin if the man doesn't have time to use his wand before the dragon returns.
