What is the state of the cauldron and the rope and pulley contraption? I need to fix my shield and get my wounds closed before we do... Waedin wheezes. Worse comes to worse we got plenty of rope on us and can lower Kolek with that. Shouldn't be too bad. Hope whatever's in the tunnels doesn't rush is all I can say.

If someone needs to turn the crank to make the mechanism go, then I think a good climber should climb down the rope after everyone else gets cranked down. So maybe Kolek can be lowered second last and then ustemir climb down on the rope? I'm assuming Ustemir is a good climber.

Waedin tugs three times. If she's pulled up she relays she saw a slimy toad with long tusks guarding an exit. It didn't seem to mind me coming with no lights, so let's all go down one by one with no lights, and then when we're all down we'll light the place up and see how it reacts. Kamus damned evil. We were almost taken by that damned and cursed god. Waedin takes out a small book and scribbles down some notes. Got my first grudge I guess. The clan'll be proud. Maybe when we get stronger I can convince you all to help me take it down. Then she flops over. I got healing magic, and I can use it cause I think we need to be at full strength to head down the well. Seems like that's how the kobolds been avoiding the Kamus monster.
