Before Virgil can even draw his blade the combat is over and the duellist takes his time searching the room.

Virgil tries the door, but assuming it isn't locked he beckons his allies over.

"Whilst I have no interest in breaking and entering, if he isn't going to answer the door we may need to use less... honourable means. Any of you skilled with locks?"

If none of the team are able, Virgil will find the window least visible from the street, wrap the grip of his rapier with his cloak and attempt to gain access forcefully, unless the gnome responds aggressively.

"No point in delaying simply for theatrics, this is neither the time or place. Allow me."

Wishing not to delay further, Virgil knocks on the door, hoping one of the identical wizards replies.

Eager to progress on their assignment, Virgil allows Pearlianna while heading towards the open gateway, gesturing for the others to follow should they desire.

"Perhaps it's open to the public."

Should the priest or guards challenge or question them, Virgil will assist any attempt at Diplomacy, using his 'noble' heritage to pay respect to a reputed individual.

Virgil, having remained stoic and silent in the presence of the Wall of Names, speaks again;

"I agree with the decision to go to the stonemasons tomb. Perhaps we can get permission from a local priest? Nothing stopping us visiting the site."

Virgil scams the documents again, thinking over their options.

"Seems to me the most rationale place to begin is the Wall of Names. It's close by and we know it well enough."

"We did. But there was far more than wine down there. Did you now about these concealed notes or the undead?"

Virgil presents the evidence discovered to the Venture captain.

Virgil returns with the papers, showing them to his fellow agents.

"It seems there is more to this than we suspected. Perhaps Dreng knew we'd uncover these messages and wishes us to pursue the matter further?

Virgil shakes his head.

"I'm afraid not, perhaps there is something in here that might help? There must be a reasons those 'things' were here!"

The duellist begins to search the room, hoping to understand why a wine cellar would have undead lurking so nearby.

Virgil dashes into the corner beside Cyto's fallen body and lances out again with his rapier at the other undead nightmare.

Equally keen not to be outdone, Virgil takes a run up and jumps the plank.

Keen to break away from the conversation, Virgil politely excuses himself and moves over to the cellar with his fellow Pathfinders.

Out of politeness, Virgil will remain with the scholar, 'listening' to his explanations with pained patience, awaiting a prompt to leave.

Virgil listens politely to the mans explanation, silently regretting his decision and periodically glancing over to see if it is time to leave.

Virgil smiles and nods before heading off towards to man with all the books and writing materials, ensuring he doesn't get too close to avoid dripping on them

"Afternoon sir, apologises for the interruption, but do you mind if I ask what youre studying?"

Noticing Hobs hesitation, Virgil nods in agreement.

"Indeed. Our associate informed us you could help us with his request?"

Virgil nods at the questions and agrees with Pioni.

"I can respect a fondness for quality."

The duellist follows his companions.

Virgil offers the venture-captain a polite bow when he reveals himself, trying to ignore how sodden they all are.

"Perhaps the contents of the parcel require additional protection that one person alone cannot shoulder?"

As he speculates, the duellist wipes the excessive moisture from his face and scar, trying to retain his compusure. Wiping his hand dry, the young bastard collects the document from Dreng.

"May we ask what the package contains?"
