I think I've reached the limits of my talents here. Don't seem to be any checks I can contribute to now. Can I harness the horse to the wagon?

You prepare to use an action that will occur outside your turn. Choose a single action or free action you can use, and designate a trigger. Your turn then ends. If the trigger you designated occurs before the start of your next turn, you can use the chosen action as a reaction (provided you still meet the requirements to use it). You can’t Ready a free action that already has a trigger.
If you have a multiple attack penalty and your readied action is an attack action, your readied attack takes the multiple attack penalty you had at the time you used Ready. This is one of the few times the multiple attack penalty applies when it’s not your turn.

Veshki tugs on the bandoliers crisscrossing her chest. "My old teacher gave me a potion, but Nythrutr and me are better at crushing than saving." She jabs a thumb at the pack on her back. "I have food, and growing up on the tundra you learn to hunt quickly, as well as cover tracks from Irrisen patrols"
I'm going to grab a hatchet as well, just in case I need something smaller than a 7' sword :D

A massive broad sword scarcely shorter than her nearly scrapes the floor as she leans against the wall. "I am Veshki, far from home but always among friends here." She takes a cup and tosses back the wine. "Too sweet" she says with a wince.
