"We'll go and see her then. Would you like us to bring your friends back with us if we can?" Vera askes their new friend.

Vera carefully eats some of the meat. "It's wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality."

"Of course we come for the big feast. Why did you fight at Cloud Castle anyway?" Vera responds.

Vera watches the giants and wonders if they are trying to hurt T'Khan or feed him.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

"What about our ritual. Do you think news of our travels caused this attack?"

Vera makes her potion choices, and tucks them away. "Did we find out what the ritual was supposed to be?" Vera asks her companions.
"We'll still help you out of course."

"We've been sent by the Pathfinder Society. We need one of your lineage to help with a ritual for them. We would love to come to an agreement with you for your service."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

"Well that was easier than I thought it would be. Should we head back upstairs?" Vera holds her weapon ready, and waits for Valin or Mak'da to lead the way.

"You are in the basement of Zoarth's castle. He asked us to help you. Let's head back upstairs and see if we can help him with his attackers." Vera says quietly and calmly to the giant.

"I'll do what I can to free him." She raises her mug. [/b]Cayden help me free this creature."[/b]

Vera waits for Arisira to try to speak with the giant. "I'll do what I can to help free him."

"T'Khan come here please." She taps him with her wand of Cure Serious Wounds and then moves to Valin to give him a tap with the wand. "Who knows what's up ahead lets be careful."

Vera dimension hops to the other side of the blue giant and attacks him from behind.

Vera moves in behind Valin. "Let's see if Cayden can't even the odds a bit." She casts Flame Strike.

Fire and Holy Damage DC18 Reflex Save: 10d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 5, 6, 1, 2, 2, 1, 5, 6) = 32
It should get Purple, Green, Yellow and Stone

"Lets go." Vera rushes toward the crack hoping the confusion of the fight will cover their advance.

Vera nods, and whispers. "Let's just follow them. Maybe Zoarth will smash them instead, and he'll be in a good mood to talk with us."

Vera points up the road. Let's tread carefully. They may throw rocks at us." She draws her bow and moves up the road.

"Maybe he spent his budget on cheap liquor." Vera responds to Arisira's question.

"We at least need cold weather gear. I hear it's cold up there. Also there's something about witches, and hexes. I don't remember what exactly." She shrugs.

Vera waves away the cigar, but takes the drink. Her face remains passive as she sips. Cayden this is for you. she thinks as the fire burns in the pit of her stomach.

"I've never been up north. I'm guessing we'll need furs and more clothing that usual to keep us warm. I could turn the Pridon's Hearth Bar and worship Center into a Lodge once we retire. It's a small town you know."

"I've never met a giant. What should I expect?"

I'm fine with fudging. Looks like that's only Arisira's chronicle.

Vera happily joins her team and the Venture Captain in several drinks. "Thanks to Cayden for giving us home safe from the mission." She raises what could be her fifth glass of wine.

I've still got two XP before I hit 11.

Profession Sailor: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Vera is amazed with the portal. "That's a handy spell Mak'da."

Vera starts to take the books as Arisira points them out. She'll fill her bag of holding with what she can. "Maybe the golems can carry the books for us." she grins. "Pretty sure the society will be happy with just the golems."

"Take the books and let's leave this place. I don't feel it's worth continuing to explore this place. The knowledge that comes out of it isn't worth the chance the evil here will be released."

She channels several times to heal her companions. .

Vera stops and looks at the woman. "Your tomb, Madam?"

Vera keeps an eye out for enemies who might be coming for them. "Do you best Arisira. You've got this."

Vera casts Divine Favor on herself before heading out to join the battle.

"May Cayden give us his luck today." she prays.

"That's possibly true. We could use the help, and you do have a responsibility to the others. Do you swear to let us leave when this is finished?" Vera asks the Paralictor.

Vera goes to the Golem speaker. "Bogipfen is she hurt? I can heal her if she needs it." She glances at the archeologist assuming she'll mention needing healing if she needs it.

"The demons turned Hellknights into golems? That's not something you see everyday. Do you think we can return them to their Hellknightness?"

"Wish I'd prayed for more dismissals today." She mutters as she moves up and attacks the demon in front of her with a vital strike.

Vital Strike: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25
Damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 1) + 3 = 5

Vera studies the creatures as they pop into the room. Then she casts Holy Smite on the two creatures in the back.

Holy Smite DC17 Will Evil or Neutral: 5d8 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 2, 2) = 16

On Fail blinded for one round. On save half damage and not blinded.

Vera skids to a stop next to Arisira. She slaps Valin on the back and casts Aid. "Maybe this will help you stay alive more easily."

Temp HP: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

"One moment please." She moves up to Valen and casts Lesser Restoration on him. Then she follows the Morlock. "Valen, I'll patch you up when we get to Karn."

Vera drops a Flame Strike onto the Morlocks, and the Bullette. She uses her hasted speed to move closer to the fight drawing her rapier as she moves.

SR: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Damage Reflex 18 for half: 10d10 ⇒ (10, 5, 2, 6, 3, 6, 3, 7, 9, 9) = 60

Hi work is still nuts. I won't have brain power to post until after this week. I've got a major report due, and I'm the only one who has access to entering the data.

I'm sorry that I haven't been able to post.

Vera works to keep the boat on a steady course. "Carful. I don't think many of you can swim."

Work has been crazy for the last few weeks. It's going to be like that for a bit. I'll try to log into post, but I can't promise it will be daily.

Day Job Prof Sailor: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

Vera is one level behind you at 10.

Vera rushes over to Valin. She pulls out a wand and taps him with it. Casting Cure Serious Wounds on the fighter and cleric. She also Channels Energy so she can heal all of her allies. Then she goes back to healing Valin.

Vera moves up and helps Valin cut the people free.

Vera grabs Arisira by the hand, and then Dimension Hops to join the rest of their party.

Dimension hop allows me to have 18 5 foot steps a day. I can take someone with me, but have to use all of my hops to bring both of us.

Valin go flying.

Vera reaches over and touches T'Khan casting Fly on him.

"Go with Mak'da. She may need you."

Vera studies the ghost, "We will be happy for the help. Anything that's willing to take on a devil is welcome. Is your Uncle or the archeologists in any condition to help us?"

Vera follows Mak'da into the room. "Let me see." She casts Detect Magic on the area where the fissure opened, and tries to recall what she might know about Haunts like this.

Finally made it back in. Dang. Between busy at work, and a bad time of year for me. Not being able to log in didn't help.

Vera Channels Positive Energy again. "Hang in there Valin."

Vera channels Positive energy in the area that the ground is buckling on. "Go to your rest."

Channel: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6) = 10
