Hi everyone!

As I may have mentioned before my wedding is just a few days away and I'm in the middle of chasing loose ends and getting everything sorted for the big day!

That being said I'm going to be superly crunched for time at this point! Please feel free to DMPC me for the time being if needed!

If I have a moment in the next few days to drop a post I will try!

Between the wedding and honeymoon I am going to be in limbo until June 23rd, but I promise you all, I will be back!

Ok, so who is still up for the game? I am really interested in seeing how the game will go with the interweaving of stories!

I am in a crunch for my wedding but still interested in the game. I'll do the best I can to keep up, but I may be moving a bit slow until I get back from my honeymoon.

Hi guys. I haven't really been paying attention to what we are changing or aren't, I've been a bit swamped with the lead up to my wedding (two weeks!) and I don't have the energy/time to be a useful contributor to this until I'm on the other side of the wedding/honeymoon.

If you guys are up for putting me in a 'pending' state until about this time next month (June 23rd or so) I can hopefully pick things up at that point and jump in. Right now I feel I'd be a dead/one line poster at best until then, and that's not fair to you all.

It's mostly sandbox by far. The only good seasonal event is the Hockey Season, but then you can ignore the majority of it until the end of the series anyway.

Yep! Canada was a stealth expansion, filled with NPCs for the longest time. We had some Vikings drop by in 1000AD, but they didn't stick around. It took years before people finally found us, but we're here!

What possible calendar does your college run on? We're on the quarter system, and our winter finals were two weeks ago, but it's a bit early for the end of a spring semester.

We're on a semester system with the year split into three chunks of 4 months. I'm in Canada if that helps explain away things at all.

I work in a college. Finals week is roughly now to the 25th, depending on what there is on the go!

I'm missing a trait at the moment...looking to see what campaign traits we may have!

I understand that you are full up on muscle, however my CotCT campaign just ended, and I would like to see Velius continue to exist in some way or form. I have only played the first part of the AP, up to the point where we meet for the first time.

I like to think I am very flexible and I am more than happy to retool to suit!

Velius will once again attack the man with a flurry of non-lethal blows. Then takes a step to allow Cassiel a way at the man.

Unarmed Attack 1 Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Velius moves into action. Taking a quick step to get back in line with the thug, and throwing a flurry of blows at him.

Yep! Velius is ready to get things kicked off, now that the door's open and it won't slow us down if it's lockable.

Velius steps past the man into the hall, ensuring that the door won't be closed on him. Facing away from the man he had been intimidating, Velius pulls a vial out of his pocket and drinks it.

"Say, Cassiel. There was something else we were supposed to look into while we were here." He said slyly with a nod. "Do you remember what it was?"

Velius drinks his Mage Armor potion.

"What an absolutely fantastic coincidence. We actually ARE with the guard, and on the account of all the b!&#~*@@ I'm smelling coming out of your mouth. I'm shutting this operation down until we have some straight answers on what is, or isn't going on here." Velius said taking another step forward towards Baldrago, unintimidated by the man.

"Are you going to be a sensible man and put those pretty hands away, or are we going to have a problem?"

Velius will ready an action to hit the man with a Stunning Fist first if it looks like he's going to cause problems.

Velius stares at the man, unfazed. "I certainly hope not. Though that doesn't explain where you are getting the meat you're giving out to everyone. Velius said with a smirk while taking a step forward, pretending to jokingly look behind the counter. "You see...there's a curious rumor going around. One that says you're serving...street meat."

"Some very concerned citizens have come to me and my friends here, asking us look into the matter. People concerned about those still missing from the riots yesterday. It would do my heart wonders to alleviate them of this concern they have, before it sets off an even greater panic. If you understand what I'm saying."

Night shift has me burning the candle at both ends! Sorry for the slowness!

"No time like the present." Velius said as he looked over the map. Maybe we can try to sneak up on those outside the shop."

"That's odd...and worth looking into on its own." Velius said seriously wondering where the food was coming from. Not wanting to conclude the obvious. "We were thinking to go around lunch, when their clientele drops off. Less of a chance to deal with any hungry citizens that may turn on us."

Velius grunted at Katrina's statement. "We'll have to organize something to take their place, or get the Guard to do it. It's possible someone from the community might be willing to stand up and fill the void too."

My brain is a little added is that 1076gp each? Velius will pick up two Mage Armor potions and two Cure Light Wound potions while out shopping.

"Lunch time seems like a good time to get them." Velius said "There's less of a chance that there will be any bystanders in the way. Given how they are being treated, any bystanders would go to the aid of Verik, and that could complicate things."

"We should make sure we are grab some supplies now that we have the means to do so. A few healing potions wouldn't hurt, or...would prevent things from hurting at least." Velius said once sitting down in the tavern.

Velius is happy to sell off the treasure. He will likely try to buy a Cure Light Wounds potion and a Mage Armor potion while they're out and about if possible.

"Any ideas on their numbers?" Velius asks as he looks at the portrait. "We'll definitely try to take him alive. No sense in creating more waste."

"I'm Velius Kross." Velius said introducing himself to the women while taking a seat. "We've seen people ready to tear one another apart at the drop of a hat. From one of the instances we've seen it's been directed at the nobility. Thankfully Cassiel managed to head it off before it became a problem."

"I'm more than happy to help...but what is going on in the city? It seems like it's less rioting, and more like a civil war out there. I can't believe all of this just started because of the King..."

"This has certainly been a bit more lucrative than my mediation business." Velius said dryly once the party was away from the castle. "Given everyone is taking time to settle old grudges and scores, I think it might be a good time to take a break from that though."

"Are we all set to work with the guard?"

"Pleased to meet you. Velius said while following the bodyguard through the palace, enjoying the chaos free environment. "I am Velius Kross."

"Greetings." Velius said graciously. "Yes, we've found a brooch that matches the description of the one posted as missing by the queen. We wish to return it."

Velius is happy to show the brooch to prove it is the one that was posted.

Definitely Bill! Sorry to hear life has gone crazy! I hope it works itself out!

Velius pauses to show that he is completely unarmed. "Have nothing on me."

Velius nodded trying to make it painfully obvious he is unarmed. "Indeed. We noted the warrant out for it, and would like to return it.

"That ended well. But doesn't say much for the state of the city if people are still up and about. Velius said, approving of Cassiel's actions. "Shall we keep moving?"

Velius is more than happy to waive his share so Cassiel can keep his ring.

"What are your suggestions to calm Korvosa? With the king just having passed away, and the queen leaning on the Hellknights to enforce order..." Velius trailed off. "It was practically civil war in the streets last night."

Velius looks over the value of the loot that they had acquired the day before, the value of it all far surpassing his spartan lifestyle, he shakes his head. "I wouldn't be surprised if he found a way to steal it. Though that being said, 1,200 sails is quite a fair bit if we return it to the Queen."

Only partially understanding what Zellara mentioned, Velius speaks up on the first thing that comes to his mind. "If you are...a ghost...shouldn't you be...moving on now that Lamm is dead? What is holding you back?"

"This is bizarre." Velius said as they arrived in the now broken down home. "What sort of magic could make us...hallucinate...so...drastically?"

Velius walks around the home keeping a sharp eye out...for anything.

"I don't know how much we'll find back at Zellara's, but we might be able to get some answers." Velius suggested. "Given the looting that's been going on, I'd feel slightly paranoid going about to sell goods lest they call the Hellknights on us, and the kind of sort that might not..." He let the sentence trail off.

"Lamm is the Gods problem now. Velius told the boy. "You are free of him forever."

"So...the king is dead...and now we have a young queen on the throne that everyone thinks married for money." Velius said with a sigh as he settled into the church. "I don't envy her position. Using the Hellknights as a club for her first act in power doesn't seem to be working out."

"What." Velius stated with a flat expression staring at the head. "Who the hell did we see? To what end would they pretend to be a dead woman?!"

A weight lifting off his shoulders Velius lets out a slight sigh, vengeance gained for a father slain, the little he remembered of the Ulfen way told him. He couldn't have left it up to Cheliax law to try Lamm, they might have gotten it wrong.

Expressionless at the services offered by Katrina and Cassiel, watches in silence.

After collecting any useful trinkets and the gear left on Lamm's body, Velius nods at Katrina's statement and follows Cassiel to explore the next room, keys in hand.

Sensing the end of the fight coming, Velius redoubles his efforts to lay out the man.

"YOU TOOK ME!" Velius yelled as he unleashed a flurry of blows at Lamm.

Velius sets off attempting to close the distance between Lamm while he his still holding onto the crossbow. "Lamm! This day has been far too long coming!"

Move to R11, and using Velius 2 remaining Harrow Points to gain +2 dodge AC for the encounter for a total of 16 AC.

Edit #2. Just realized this, and I don't know how 'much' clutter there is on these tables. But if it's feasible for Velius to jump onto the tables and gain a height advantage on Lamm. He would move to Q12. Taking 10, Velius would have a 16 acrobatics, which would let him hop up 4 feet.

Question on wording, will the alligator attack automatically if Velius passes through the squares V11, U11, T11? Or is it just very angry right now and looks like it's ready to bite something on it's turn?

"Barge or door?" Velius whispers while brushing off the last bits of dried blood on his face and scratching where his wounds used to be prior to healing.

"We are indeed here to help! Velius said enthusiastically looking back at the child he had jumped over in his rush up the stairs. "We are going to take you safe, you'll never have to work in these pits again! And get real food!"
