I must host you. They are a pastry cup full of a butter, egg, sugar, syrup mix that essentially bakes into liquid butterscotch with raisins in it.

My wife won't let me go out in the garden naked, so I need my PJs.

I'd like to think these two things are related. The thoughts of the dessert got you so excited that you needed to take some air to calm down.

Claiming the title of Town Drunk and signing in from Ireland.

All I know about Ireland is it's the source of Secret of Kells and the upcoming Song of the Sea. So it's alright in my book!

It is actually a really nice place with a lot to see in general. It has more to see if you are American or Canadian but Europeans visit too.

As an Irish man, I was just making a joke about our love of alcohol. In reality Ireland is not doing too badly. Our government is a bit backwards and we are in direction violation of at least two edicts of European Law but... At the end of the day tis graaand.

Hands KC a card that reads 'Vali Haggarsson - Viking Attorney at Law. The Haggarssons: If we can't pillage or plunder it we will bury it in litigation and drive it before us to the lamentation of their women. PLC.'

-Rolls up sleeves- Right, who wants to help be bury Sunnfire up to his neck in sand...?

All this talk of sand makes me feel like this has become a Filler Thread in an Anime and we are all taking our time out from doing serious things to spend time at the beach.

You are welcome. Just your friendly neighborhood Haggarsson, glad to help out at every turn!

-Bows- Thank you, thank you! I am here all week. Tip your waitresses!

The first line is when Jesus carried you... Or something...

Haha Mine also was meant as a way to hoodwink a significant other. Because, at the end of the day, is that not what drinking holes are? A way to get away from the real world and the responsibilities one holds there.

Sadly that is why Ireland is falling apart. No one left in the real world to handle problems come 6pm...

Oooh ooh ooh call it "See a Man about a Dog". Then we can say "I'm off to See a Man about a Dog!"

In hindsight... I might be the only one who finds that funny...

Like maybe... Building a rocket or fighting a mummy or climbing up the Eiffel Tower. Discovering something that doesn't exist or giving a monkey a shower. Surfing tidal waves, creating nanobots, or locating Frankenstein's brain. Finding a dodo bird, painting a continent, or driving your sister insane!

As you can see there is a whole lot of stuff to do before PFO starts this fall. So stick with us 'cause Vali and the Haggarssons are gonna do it all. So stick with us 'cause Vali and the Haggarssons are gonna do it all!

Useless Haggarsson POV:
The conversation towards the end here is like stepping in to a conversation taking place in the later parts of a game of Assassins. It is quite entertaining in a "Who done it" sort of manner.

Clapping one massive hand down on to the smaller mans shoulder, Vali laughed softly, turning to gesture at the rest of his family. "You honour us with your friendship brother Theodum. We are glad to be a part of this settlement!" He gestured one of the younger Haggarssons forward and held out his hands, taking the two drinking horns from the boy, before forcing one in to Theodums hand.

"A toast, for prosperity for all. May we prosper!" He downed the horn in one, wiping th excess drops of beer from his beard, before clapping Theodum on the back once more. "Tomorrow is a new day, a bright day for us all!"

Thanks for the welcome guys. We really appreciate it. I also would like to take this moment to thank everyone else who approached us, we appreciate all you have done for us and the interest you have shown. I will be sending around personal messages in the next while, I am just busy trying to coordinate a few other things. Thanks again all. Much love from the whole Haggarsson clan!

Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it.

So I was wondering if there is any way to find out contact details for the Guilds, on Goblinworks? Anyone know how? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And to those who messaged me last night or recently, who I have not replyed to, I apologize, I have been busy. Expect a reply soon.

I am hopeful that your clan thrives!

My only disappointment is the vanilla algnment of NG as your leaning. At least chaotic good would add a bit of spice to the rum, as I like to say.

May your clan thrive also brother.

And that rating of NG is a good one, as our founding members are predominately a mix of Erastilite and Cayden Cailean worshippers. The NG allows us both, Erastilitis and Caileans to live and worship who we will, without fear of repercussion.

I like it. I take it all members should take on the last name of Haggarsson? Now there's something for recognizing which settlement someone belongs to! :)

Welcome, Haggarssons!

We accept all people, regardless of heritage. Anyone may take the name Haggersson if they wish, Gnome, Elf of Orc, as long as they be true and loyal friends of the Family. We regularly adopt others in to our family who would otherwise not be, such as these races. We do not require people to hold our name to join us though, it is just the descriptor we ourselves use. :)

We thank you for your welcome. :)

Much appreciated friend!

You have? Well look no further dear boy for here we are! How may we be of assistance?

A stiff breeze causes the flames to leap higher in the fireplace as the door of the inn swings open briefly and Vali pushed his way inside. He scanned the crowd for a moment before nodding to himself and shrugging out of his heavy fur cloak, hanging it on a peg by the door. 'Erastils snowy beard it is warm down here!' he glared at the fire for a moment and sighed. 'Best get a move on,they won't wait forever.

He pushed his way through the crowd slowly, making his way to the bar where he signaled the barman to bring him an ale. Putting his back to the heavy oaken bar he turned to face the crowd once more, scratching his thick red beard in thought. It was always hard to gauge how to approach a thing like this. Did he just start shouting and hope everyone listened? Did he make a scene, draw some attention to himself? He didn't know but he assumed it would be better if it was done... politely.

"Always better to be polite..." He whispered to himself before turning back to the barman and thanking him for the drink, sliding his silver across the counter to the man.

Taking his tankard in hand, he moved to stand before the fire, staring in to the crackling flames for awhile, his tall broad figure silhouetted against the flames. 'Well it is not like they are going to boo you out of the building are they? Cayden Caileans nuts what am I doing here? Why isn't Grandpa Anders doing this, or hells even Snorri?' He sighed, running a heavily calloused hand through his long red braids. 'Forget it Vali... Pull it together man, just get on with it. Do the family proud, you are a Haggarsson!' He nodded to himself and took a long swallow of ale, downing the tankard in one before belching loudly and turning to the room.

"HOI! LISTEN UP!" He paused, waiting till the room went silent and everyone was glaring at him.

"R-right. Well... words aren't my thing, and by Gorums greasy taint I am sure you all don't want to listen, so I will keep it short!"

"GOOD! That was nice and short, now PISS OFF!" the room exploded with laughter and Vali joined in along with them, before holding up his hand, signaling he was going to speak again.

"That is fair friend, you got me good there. Anyway... I do not want to take more of your time so I will get to the point. There is a spot of land not far from here, bountiful and with room for plenty on it. My family and I plan to take that land and we plan to hold it as our own. But as they say... safety in numbers hey?" He paused for a moment, looking round the room, meeting everyones eye in turn, seeing there the understanding that time here in the Riverlands had brought, to each and every one of them standing there that night.

"Aye, safety in numbers. We are looking for people to join us, to make that long dangerous trek out in to the wilderness and aid us in setting up something that we can all be proud of. I know what you are asking yourselves, why would we do that? Why leave the safety of the city? And I would counter with why the hells not? Come, join us. Carve your fortune out of the land like so many have done before us. Find a gold mine or stumble across a grove of expensive woods and plants. It is all out there my friends, in the wilds of this world and it is all ours for the taking!" He smiled and nodded to a group of men who were whispering together and nodding to eachother at a table in the corner.

"We are going out there anyway, whether we get help or not. But... we would surely like you all along with us. Come find your fortunes and adventure with the Haggarssons friends and we will show you a good time!"

Sorry for the long introduction there. This is a recruitment post for a small starting off PFO Guild known as the Haggarssons.

The Nitty Gritty Stuff:

Hey guys and gals, we are a small up and coming Guild known as the Haggarssons. We are a bunch of displaced Ulfens with aspirations, looking for a place to build a new home for our family. Driven (or kicked) out of out ancestral home in the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, we have finally found somewhere to continue the Haggarasson legacy. But while our Erastilite upbringing give us a strong sense of community, we pay our dues to Cayden Cailean - No Haggarsson may die without leaving their mark upon the world!

The Haggarssons have a long and proud history of accepting any who share our philosophy of family values, adventuring to help those in need, and the love of a good pint into our fold.

In short - We are a Role-Play inspired Guild, probably aligned towards the NG, looking for others who love the story building aspect of this game. We are looking for a few good men or women to help us create something fun and beautiful for all of us. So please, if you love Role Playing and feel like you could be a part of our family, please don't hesitate to join us - Join the Haggarssons

If anyone has any questions or suggestions please drop me a line.

Cheers for listening,
Robert
