seeing his own reflection pluck out it's own eye and eat it was shocking but the fear that he felt was more than what he saw inspired. While Rale restores Bruden to his former Glory Tyr puts on his new banded mail armor. He neatly folds his torn studded leather armor and leaves it in the corner of the room. After a moments though he adds his heavy crossbow and bolts to the pile. Hopefully they will be able to retrieve these things latter but it is too much to carry now. He then takes his polehammer and bastard sword and practices a few swings with each to get a feel for the new armor.

Tyr is lugging the other shield with him. Roldare said they would need both of the shields and two keys and as strange as things have been his is not going to disregard the council even though it is from a madman. When they arrive in the room with the pool he drops the sheild so he can be ready to fight if they need too. He will pick it up again when the move forward on.

Tyr kept the large sheild taken from the statue. He slept that night but now well. He dreamed of being back in the practice yard behind the Watch Headquarters with Captain Wisslo yelling at him as he struggled through the drills. Despite the stressful dreams Tyr woke feeling better than he had the day before. He felt more confidence in himself he had come close to death twice now and knew he would still leap into battle beside his friends with out hesitation. He felt good to know that he was at least no coward.

so the way I understand it is the statue is at the bottom of the slides with Bruden and the rest of us are at the top
