Thank you for the chance to test that. And the boons gift is nice but I have played most PF1 content and these days I mostly just play seeker stuff. So I don't really need the boon. You can keep it or if another player at the table wants it pass it to them.

-8 to hit is pretty brutal. Just because casters can dispel the wind doesn't mean they want to spend the action to do so. And 8k is not a big deal at this level.

No save on the -4 to attack. And unless she is cheating somehow Death Curse is a Will save on the first round. Fort saves come later if the will save fails. I guess we are also assuming the minutes per level buffs are going but not the rounds per level. So Good Hope yes, Haste no. Guess what boots I'm buying soon.

Aurelia figured it out. We now know how to get in. The issue is that one of us is supposed to stay behind as the guardian. I doubt they planned for a disposable animal companion to be in the party so there is probably a workaround. Remove curse maybe.

Tuwo will approach the alter. He will resist any effects at first but if no visions are forthcoming after a few moments 2 rounds. he will stop fighting it.
Fun story. Tuwo has had a vision where he both watched and felt the entire solar system die. The experience nearly killed him. He can't imagine the alter showing him anything worse then that.

PF2 actually favors martial characters. Spells are weaker in general and you get less of them. Martial characters have a better chance of connecting and critting with their attacks the casters do of hitting with a spell or the monster failing a save vs a spell. And it is harder for casters to have good defenses in 2E. No +4 AC from Mage armor. The Shield cantrip helps some but it eats up one of your 3 actions for the turn and can only be used once per combat.

I have noticed that melee characters don't last to Seekerhood unless they have a lot of support along the way. You die once and your overall treasure value is decreased by 5,000 gold. That weakens you just a bit and makes it more likely to happen again.
The barbarians/fighters/animal companions give their lives so that the casters can live long enough to pass that level 12+ barrier.

Yea mine is melee, no mount, and uses Banner of the ancient kings + Flagbearer. Eventually I stopped going into melee because even though I hit for 1d8 +30 dmg the +5/+5 I was adding to the party wasn't worth the risk.
