The town of Phaendar is bursting to its seams, with villagers, farmers, and merchants all descending into the town, what is normally the village green is now covered with tents, livestock, merchants, and running children.
For those of you from out-of-town, you've secured rooms at the Taproot Inn, who's owner, Jet, is more than welcoming to any and all. She’s tapped the first keg of last year’s ale for the celebrations happening across town. Father Noelan leads morning services for the town at the Shrine, its steps decorated with banners and fresh flowers.
Merchants, farmers, and craftspeople hawk wares across the common. Fresh smells, noise, and smiles populate the morning in town Fresh pies! New boots! are just some of the calls you hear across the market space.
Phaendar’s Spring Market Festival draws a crowd from all over Nirmathas, many solely to hear Aubrin the Green - the retired Chesnardo Ranger turned Caydenite Cleric - recount bawdy tales of adventure from her youth.
Aubrin the Green, Abby to the locals, walks through the market like the local hero she is. Shaking hands, and telling stories. Her dented pewter tankard filled with ale, and her infectious smile turns heads wherever she goes.
