Because if she did, I'm pretty sure Raze and everyone is going to rip her throat out for letting things out of the bag. If she didn't, then she didn't say that to Rhun, since Rhun specifically approached the Dwarf and the Elf, and told Kate to join her and them. i assume Marya was referencing the initial outburst whereupon you changed from fox to human again after bursting out of the woods ![]()

it took me a good 5-6 seconds to put that emoticon together haha honestly we have no proof what they are doing, no reason to interfere except personal squick factor. I mean, I'm a damn werespider. On a good day I am wrapping a creature in web, injecting my mouth-goo, and then sucking the liquid guts back in like a very large Gushers candy. ![]()

I am chaotic neutral. For me, law of the jungle is it. In that I am not chaotic stupid, I don't intend to be the impetus for upsetting the status quo of the caravan. However, if someone comes up with a suitable plan, I am not opposed. As far as torture goes, in that argument I was being playing devil's advocate as well as being somewhat contrarian towards someone who had been routinely impolite. He would do evil for the greater good of the lycanthropes and to the end of setting up a healthy culture of lycanthropes coexisting with relatively minimal issues with neighbors and with him in a seat at the table of power with the others (though realistically he would be happy even without the mantle of rulership and just being rich). ***BREAK*** I agree with your sentiment that complacency is perhaps a problem. But the PCs are not discussing with each other about a way to move forward. Also, not knowing this sort of situation would come up and everyone else being complacent as well, I made a character that doesnt particularly care about the outcome of the situation at hand but will go with a majority of PCs. ***BREAK*** As someone who has a past with making "face" characters and causing problems in game by basically railroading fellow PCs, I tend to make characters that are not in that role these days. I make someone who doesn't lead, but is content to follow. Also I have to be a leader and make important decisions at work, I don't like doing that in my recreation. ![]()

![]() "No, then they are guilty of assault, not robbery. Perhaps I missed when they said 'This is a stick up' or 'give us all your stuff', but for all we know they have only committed assault, attempted murder at worst. Not that I care what we do to them, I'm just making a point of order." He holds his hands up and shrugs his shoulders. "But I agree with Igdus on this one." ![]()

![]() Tobar begins casting once more, this time taking the form of a giant snake! As he does so, he mumbles some b#!&@* about spirits of the forest aiding him in his magic to throw off anyone who might be listening. Anyone with magical knowledge can determine that he is actually spellcasting not were-shifting, i think its like DC 15 spellcraft. spending the SP to take Serpentine Form, Constrictor package, and Size Change as a form trait. Net +1 to AC as he gets +2 natural but loses 1 for size. he will move while prone if you would allow that from a snake. perception w/low light vision DC 15: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 He will slither to keep in cover if possible, at least from the most possible attacks. ![]()

![]() I wouldn't call myself an irregular poster. perhaps by character. I check the boards every day i just kinda dont have much to say with Tobar. I don't clash with other PCs like some in here and i probably shouldnt have made him the secretive sort as i have problems with "lone wolf" types. but yeah i read all new posts daily barring the occasional day off. ![]()

![]() Tobar remains silent for much of the conversation, as is his way. He then speaks up. "If there is fear of vampires in the mystery wagon, why not arrange for it to catch fire before reaching the town? Though I think fey the more likely, the mystery is trouble whether we solve it or not." ![]()

![]() DM Lycan wrote: Applied to the web eh? Sounds interesting, would that b e for purposes of grabbing and dragging? well i pictured him grabbing and pulling someone up. cool idea but i gotta figure a way to make him more useful in combat as he is not helping the party well. I am thinking of going with Graft Weapon, happening upon a decent weapon or getting a castoff from someone (something d8+ dmg or more), and then maybe a destruction talent if i can find a suitable one. or maybe an Enhancement talent. Plus if the humans see him morph a normal weapon with his arm they might more reasonably accept that he can transmute bodies and isnt just a lycan when he goes to spider form. ![]()

![]() almost done leveling up and sorry for the delay. i had a question: the Shifter gets a Bestial Trait at 2nd level, and there's one called Grab that applies to a natural attack. Could I apply that to my Web? not sure if i want to as the web has no damage so there would be no constrict, and it might be subject to the -20 modifier in the Grab description. Just wondering if that would/could be a thing. i'll pick something else as a backup, or primary and make this idea a backup. I dunno. Tobar needs more lethality, he is almost useless in combat. I might go with something more suited to that. Grafting a weapon would be good. ![]()

![]() Tobar is not a fan of the rain. It always dulls the movements of prey and predator alike. Not to mention, wet silk isn't nice on the skin. Luckily, Tobar has no shortage of silk garments to change into. That is, when he deigns to leave the wagon. He rides inside as much as is permitted, and uses spare silks and sticks to keep the rain from hitting him when outside. When approached by Fenrarem, Tobar replies, "Tobar. Joined up at the last stop. Not really much of a guard, as usual, as you can tell. I just keep my eyes open. Actually, I'm more of a silk merchant." ![]()

![]() i always avoid animal companions since a game long ago where the ranger decided to bring a companion along for our level 18 game. we were fighting some creature that, when hit, does the same damage it is hit for out in an area of 30ft or something. ranger wasnt the smartest player of all time, but seeing the animal die from taking more than 2x its HP in damage in one hit... yeah.
