ouch. Thringorn pays too much attention looking after the group and bumbles along in clumsy manner. Thringorn will want to push forward and get distance from the fort. After taking a short rest and getting everyone healed up, he will want the group to push forward and run as much as possible. The skeletons will be able to cover more ground following us so we need to try and get a good head start.

Thringorn is not concerned about the direction, just getting to an immediate point of cover. He will encourage the rest of the group and those escaping here to stay together to better the fighting odds until we can get out of the immediate danger of the Fort. "Make haste, reinforcements are coming!" yells Thringorn. "Follow her, I will cover the rear" he says pointing to Orla. Thringorn will essentially delay and use his move actions to follow the group staying close to the last person to cover the rear as we move to safety.

Orla's plan sounds good, perhaps we stay together and head to the closest available cover (woods etc.), do a quick rest, then split up from there. Is anyone in need of assistance with recovery after "Healer's Gift" or are we ready to bolt? Thringorn will stay at the rear of the group as we move to cover pursuit.

Thringorn is delaying until after all allies who are exiting through the gate exit the gate, so he will be asking the last member of the group exiting if anyone else is still heading for the gate and will wait for the last one. He can see others are using the rope as well and it appears everyone is generally aware of who is heading for the gate and who is going for the rope. If a skeleton immediately follows the last person out he will attack as a delayed attack/action; if not he will continue retreating with the group. Hopefully that all makes sense.

Thringorn will taunt the 2 skeletons around him and try and draw AoO as he moves towards the exit. He will move to just outside the exit and then wait for the rest of the group to get out, standing ready to attack anything that follows. Thringorn tucks his long scraggly hair behind his ears, and in true fearless human fashion, he bangs his new greatsword against his shiny new glowing armor, and looks at Alester. "Let's get this new stuff broken in right!" Thringorn looks back to the courtyard and heads forth into battle.

Thringorn nods and listens intently as Thanis speaks. If we can get out of here and get you to the great city (I don't have the Eberron book so I forget the name of the "biggest" major city) there are many knowledgeable mages and alchemists there that I'm sure can help you with your situation. I don't know much of magic but that is your only hope my friend, and to realize that hope we must move and we must move quickly. Diplomacy 1d20 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 5 = 12 I will use an AP if I have an idea it may be necessary to get him and his group moving.

Thringorn will approach Thanis and sit down next to him. He will speak softly so only Thanis will hear him. "You fought valiantly my friend, and I am glad you pulled through. We are close to getting out of this forsaken place, and your men will look to you for leadership. Be strong and together we shall get through this. I have your back."

Thringorn would be interested in a Greatsword (30 gp) and/or an adventurer's kit (15 gp). I would take the adventurer's kit as a first priority for survival and then the greatsword secondary since I already have a longsword. I could use the Khyber shard being a tank, but rp wise Thringorn would just look at it as a silly crystal so he will have no interest unless someone encourages him to take it and performs the ritual for him. Alester would also be another good candidate being the other tank.

He will pass on the amulet although will request a share of the gold if we make it out of here alive. Thringorn will use 2 healing surges to regain all hp. He will check on the others and see if he can assist in any way. He will advise the others that it seems unusual that more guards haven't shown up with all this combat going on and that we should proceed with caution and not linger for long. He will stand next to the trap lever and pull it if anyone else comes up the stairs before the group moves on. He will ask the group to stay quiet and listen to the stairwell.
