I'm enjoying it, but maybe the story needs to move a little quicker. Part of that may have been having the king with us, as a very lawful character, having to wait for the koing to decide what needs to be done can slow things down. Also, I'm in training for a new posityion at work, so my posting might eb delayed a bit.

i'm goignt o be afk for a few days, due to move to a new apartment, if you coudl GM PNC me till liek wednesday. thoradin will do his best to kep his companions out of harms way, even if it means putting himself in more danger..

"What Trickery is this?" Thoradin checks his hammer, to see if there is still blood on it..
"Aye lad, you have a eye for Stragety.. I'm sorry, I did't catch your names. I'm Thoradin, devout of Torag. Let us speak as we move toward our goal."
"All good plans, but we can't be everyhere at once. We should locate the Local Commander, and see where we are needed most. Sire, Do you know who is in Command here, or do you have a Diffrent plan for us?"
Thoradin does the deed, and finishes each orc off, before scanning the remaining area for threats Perception "They fought well, not as awell as us.. but we had Torag on our side. Is everyone alright?"
Noticing that there are more Pressing threats, Thoradin charges the Oncoming Orcs, Screaming a battle cry to Torag "Let them Taste Dwarven steel, and Break upon our Shields!"

Initative "Orcs! foul beasts! FORM RANKS! Shields up front, Ranged in back, Protect the Common Folk, Protect the King! Thoradin Draws his Warhammer, and moves toward the Frond of the group, putting himself between the on comming Orcs, and anyone who can not protect themselves
"Stay close together! Keep your Sheilds up if ye have em!" Perception
Thoradin Grabs his Shield, and Runs out the door, looking to help organize an escape to Safety, Using the sheild to block any falling debris from other folk " Quake! Everyone up and moving, look for a Sturdy arch to get under!
in the Morning, Thoradin is up before the sunrise, Stoking the Forge, and Preparing for his Morning Prayers to Torag. "Torag, Bless this Forge, and those who work it. May our Hammers Strike true, and shields never Break"
Thoradin give polite conversation to those sitting around him, and Enjoys his dinner, however, he is itching to get back to his Avil, and Evening Prayers... My Fellows, I Have enjoyed your Dinner greatly, but unless there is something Important to be discussed, I'll be returning to my room and anvil, there is much work to be done..
Giving a Quick glance around the room, making eye contact with Each person in the room, Thoradin takes a step forward " Greetings goodly folk, I am Thoradin Spanglehelm, Devotee of Torag. Thank you for Inviting me to your dinner."
"Alright, Point Taken, I'll come now. Thoradin pats the dust from his travels off, and attempts to run any soot off his face before heading off after the other Dwarf
" Alright lad, do I need to come now, or can I clean up a bit?" If given the chance to clean up, Thoradin will Remove his Armor, Bath, and put on his Dress Tunic, along with his Tabard depicting Torg's Anvil and Hammer. Thoradin Straps his warhammer to his belt aswell as his Holy Symbol
"Aye, only if it doesn't take long. I have weapons and Armor to repair for the soldiers here. Pray tell me, whats this Dinner all about?"
After a few moments, Thoradin notices no one enters the room, he pats his hip to make sure his Warhammer is there, then slowly Opens the Door.. "Well.. what are ye wating fer? some fan fair? I've got work te do, so don't be wasting me time.."
"Aye, doors open, come on in' Thoradin continues to un-pack his Smithing tools, while he waits the visitor to enter
Still here! enjoying the Banter, If you want to set up a scene, I could be at an Anvil, re-forging someones weapon or something..

Here is a Dwarven Paladin I rolled up for a previous All Dwarf Game, Although I might try the new Stone lord Archtype, I'll check it out and let know, Otherwise consider this my application.. I'll drop him down to 1st level as well, but consider the backstory the Same.
Thoradin is speechless for a few moments as he enters the open sky.. "Look at all those stars! they are like the Sparks off Torag's Anvil, I am grateful to have seen this in my life time, I am also honored that our mission will allow many more dwarves to take in this view.."
"Wizards and their tricks.."
" I'm for takin' em Orcs by suprise. lets stick to the tunnels, perhaps we can capture our artifact and hit them from behind before they know whats comming!"
With a Roar, Thoradin joins the battle round 2:
I step up and attack the Closest Dog, going for the one that Feldspar already hit, if i can atk (11 base, +1 haste, +1 nimbus, +3 touch of good)

Thoradin steps up, and calls out to Torag in a prayer of battle " Torag! We request your aid! In your name we judge these eil-blight on land that is rightfully ours!" round 1:
Standard action, i use my Power of Faith ability, which is in my profile. a Nimbus of light w/ a 30ft radius speads form me, All allies in this area (including the warrior of the holy light) receive a +1 morale bonus to AC and on attack rolls, damage rolls, and saving throws against fear as long as they remain in the area of light. This power lasts for 1 minute. Upon the Finish of the prayer, Torag's presence can be felt amoung the group, Bolstering everyone moral
ooc stuff:

Thoradin readys his Warhammer,stepts closer to Rahkeg, and says a Small prayer to Torag.. "Torag, I request your aid! May our shields be strong, and our Hammer's strike true!" round 1 action: I ready my Warhammer and shield, Fastening the weapon cord around my wrist, incase I need to drop my hammer.
Thoradin sees the old dwarf's awkwardness, and makes a friendly comment with what you could call a smile "At ease old one.. I know your magic is strong, and I respect it. It will provide very useful I'm sure, I'm Honored to take this mission with you. Now lets focus on our task, shall we?"
Thoradin nods, and says a Small prayer to Torag, and moves up by Elyk "Torag, my life is yours to do with what you wish."
Before Thoradin reaches the door, he looks back at feldspar, directly into his eyes, with a stern look on his face as he speaks "I'll not have you speaking Ill of any dwarf's courage, let alone my Brothers. We shall see who has the courage to stand and face the hordes, with nothing but your faith as backup. Actions speak louder than words, I have seen my brothers courage, I have yet to see yours. Untill then, keep that elf-talk to yourself." Thoradin then turns, and heads out the door, without waiting for an answer

if you are worried about DC saves, maybe try Persistent Spell, "Creatures who saved against a spell must save again" Persistent Spell: You can modify a spell to become more tenacious when its targets resist its effect. Benefit: Whenever a creature targeted by a persistent spell or within its area succeeds on its saving throw against the spell, it must make another saving throw against the effect. If a creature fails this second saving throw, it suffers the full effects of the spell, as if it had failed its first saving throw. A persistent spell uses up a spell slot two levels higher than the spell’s actual level. Spells that do not require a saving throw to resist or lessen the spell’s effect do not benefit from this feat.

Never the first to speak, Thoradin gives his brother's shoulder a rough, but friendly pat. "Aye, as much as I'd like to send some more orcish souls to whatever foul Demons they may worship, Elyk has a point. I'd feel more at home in the deep roads, where all you have to worry about is in front, and behind you. We where born in raise in the living rock of the mountains. No one knows it better than us. Thoradin then crosses his arms and leans back in his chair, waiting for others to speak their minds.

Yea sounds great! i thought about using a dwarven war axe, but I'm too much of a Dragonlance guy, to have a dwarf under the mountain w/ an axe, thats more of a hill dwarf thing.
@Thoradin, sure thing! They're pretty much the same, so we could be brothers with a simple change of name. If you want to adopt my clan that's totally fine with me, I've been mulling over further details for them, so we can fill them out together if you like? I added this to my profile :-) Spoiler: Thoradin isn't as smart, or as wise as his brother Elyk, but he is as charming. While his brother tended to the Temple, Thoradin focused on his martial skills, preparing to protect the temple against any evil that would do it harm. Although the younger of the two Spangelhelm's, Thoradin is a bit taller than his brother, which he has no qualms about bringing up in good fun.
