With a roar of frustration and anger over the amount of electricity being thrown about tonight, Theshe follows.

Theshe closes with her and attempts to punch her in the face. 15 to KAC, 10 damage. Round three actions. More punching. "I don't appreciate or approve of magic being applied to my mind. I need my mind for my action show and cant be wasting it on assassins!" Theshe is too busy trying to remember if Zo! can see Theshe right now and wanting to make a good impression. Theshe raises their voice and theatrically delivers a 'clever' two line but swings wildly as a result and doesnt deliver accurately.

As soon as Hellih throws open the door, Theshe is through it and into the room looking for a target. To facilitate speed of play, since I dont know what's in the room and may not be able to post again until morning: I'm including an attack roll of an armored fist or shuriken. Theshe would move through the door with 25 ft of move and if in range would punch. If not in range would throw a shuriken instead. both have same modifer but shuriken have range 10 and might need to be adjusted: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

Before we start to move am I right in reading this that we need to go to the grey hallways on the top and bottom of the map in order to get to the blackened area Stewart refers to? And is this the AV room?

Shaking off a throbbing headache caused by the the force of the electric wave, Theshe moves sluggishly and throws a shuriken at the nearest living creature. shuriken attack, range 10', KAC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

"Same time it is. I'll go around the side then with the others. When I get to the door I will tell you when I'm opening it." Theshe walks around to the other door. 'Quietly'. As soon as they get to the side door theshe opens it while announcing it over general comms.
If door is locked Theshe loses patience, says "welp I tried quiet" and tries to force the door open.

Turning to Zo! Theshe comments: "I apologize that my efforts weren't up to the standardized set earlier. I was distracted by another matter. That said, we all have our strengths on a team. Azara here has plenty of times done as good as or better than me. Today may be an off day, They may have forgotten to eat their morning mice. But in a pinch, us Starfinders can crew any ship, kill any creature and read any forgotten horrible mind stealing tome. We're the types you call when you just need the job done."

Seeing Azara's attempt and frustrated with Royo, Theshe returns to Zo!. "No no like this! You have to put muscle and fury into it. Shove off with a roar! Slap your tail and truly impact surfaces." The Vesk performs a hand stand pushup a few times and then ends in a tail squat with all limbs off the ground. Athletics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

Thinking that someone else's acrobatics would get us Zo! I went after Royo again because I figured I'd do the least damage there. Then I rolled terrible and so I changed my rp to fit the roll. I will try Zo! again in a bit or try medicine(+7) on Yrkis if Zo! has been influenced. culture: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2 Turning back to Royo after seeing his companion's success Theshe blusters: "I understand physics! You hit things and they fall down. I'm good at that." With that the Vesk stomps away.

Emboldened by success Theshe waves goodbye to the crowd. Hrrm, who is next, where should I go? Looking around he spots and wanders over to Royo. "Hello, you look smart. Are you a doctor? Not one of those doctors that rely on machinery or anything I hope? People always assume you can just 'throw them into the med-i-cabinet". That's how you end up with very well preserved dead bodies." Theshe sighs. "No, instead I mean are you the kind of doctor who knows how to fix people with needle and thread. I wanted to ask someone about...." medicine describing a complicated medical question: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 Theshe describes a surgery involving repairing laser axe damage to a Shirren liver. "Me? An action figure?" The Vesk states off into the distance, dreams sparkling in emerald black eyes. "Sure I'll take a cut of that plunder. Call me Thresher, Pirate of Destiny. I can wear armor emblazoned with Besmara's Blessing and make this pose. Oooh and I can fight. Like this! And this! And my signature move can be can be this!" With each 'this', Theshe explodes with movement. A kick, a punch, and two fists smashing together in a thunderous boom. Attack Role: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Thank you for explaining the multiple successes. Frozen by indecision Theshe panics. Calm down eggling. It is just talking. Talking is just like disemboweling, you walk up, say a sentence to get past the skin layer and start on the juicy guts layer. Do you think Besmara would reward indecision in battle? No. She'd look around for an easy prize and take it. Go for what is familiar Theshe looks around again at the crowd. Zo is eoxian like you and the mindvoice said he wants to hear about battle. Seize that ship and use its treasures to get you to the next prize. Strolling over to Zo! Theshe squares shoulders and struts like a parade. In eoxian the Vesk exclaims: "Sir, you look like someone not put off by tales of gore and violence. Many of the starfinders focus on only the nicer aspects of our trade, I unfortunately only have experience in the corridors of death. Would you be interested in hearing about the time a squad of insane bug priests boarded our vessel and I had to tear off the arm of my human squad mate, use it as a club to defend us, and then see it back on afterwards? " As before Theshe doesnt wait for an answer but just dives in, accentuating verbs with physical examples of how Theshe did what the Vesk is describing. athletics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

I'm unsure if its because I'm tired or just inability to parse but I'm unsure what to do next. It looks like we've won on the guy I best matched with and I dont see anyone to go after. For the special information do I just ask you ooc in order to get it? Theshe just stands looking confused and frustrated in the middle of the room. The social niceties having overwhelmed their ability to process things.

Following Stewart over to the Iteration-177 Theshe speaks up: "Tales of adventure? What are you interested in? Tales of blood shed and sprinkled in dancing goblets into the freezing dark of space? Of crew mates lost in boarding actions across hard vacuum? Of weeping desperately as you try and plug your friends wound and drag them barely alive back to your ship?" Over eager, the Vesk dives into a gory story they've told a few times but haven't polished, a bit too focused to reel in their audience and punctuating the described actions with badly done sound effects and hand motions. diplomacy: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11 "...And then we filled up on fuel and came back. It all came down to the bunny in the end." The final sentence is delivered like a punchline, but lacks enough context to really sing. Lacking self awareness, Theshe looks expectantly at the Android waiting for laughter.

Cheerful about the response Theshe bounces out of the room and goes to polish armor prior to the gala. " Gonna talk to a home bones, gonna go to a party, gonna break finger bones, if people get naughty." Singing quietly, for a Vesk Pirate that is, Theshe skips most of the way to the gala.

As Theshe pulls up the data on the comm unit the vesk glances at Radaszam and asks: "So if I see a guest about to use a knife to murder another guest....just as an example....should I ask them to wait while i come find you or can I break their hand and then come talk to you about which bones were permissible?"

Threshe is a level 1 Soldier. I'm kind of the opposite of Kai, I think I'm solid in combat but trash outside of it. That said I intend to try my 1d20+0 rolls on social interaction with the enthusiasm of a Eoxian raised Vesk pirate. Kuey since I still have a re-roll after this session, and there isn't any ship combat per you I'll address the ship combat points you are making in the future. That's a good point and I should probably pick up piloting or engineering.
Absolutely love the new system. Every time I played everyone was enjoying the new system and play went smooth. Monk is everything I wanted it to be. Resonance is less obnoxious than I expected. I played three 5 hr sessions and each time liked the new game better. I am not saying I dont have quibbles but everything that seemed frustrating when reading the rules seemed to work itself out on the table and feel appropriately powered. I really appreciate the work that went into this and wanted to express the overwhelming positive views I was seeing from the tables I played with.

Exactly this. I wasnt sure how to describe the problem many of my friends were having with the new book but this is the kind of thing I've heard from all of them. "So much jargon." "Hard to read." And I wanted a comparison but couldn't come up with one. But yeah, we all easily read and enjoyed SF. We liked PF2 gameplay at the table. And the PF2 book is jargon and full of new vocab and not just new rules.
