Two questions...

1) Is it possible to give each cybernetic eye it's own separate veemod implant?

2) I'm assuming veemods installed in cybernetic eyes don't use charges, is that correct?

Veemods are inserted into Veemod Goggles, they aren't implants.

Veemod

The errata states "A pair of cybernetic eyes can be further enhanced by one veemod (seepage 53) at a price equal to twice the veemod’s normal price."

What errata?

I'm curious if you have found any answer to question #2?

As far as I know cybernetic eyes don't have charges, and veemods don't have charges.... veemod goggles have charges. So how do you actually power a veemod in your cybernetic eyes?

No not yet, but I'm assuming that they don't.

I take this to mean one upgrade for the set of eyes. The errata also goes on to say that the only benefit from one cybernetic eye is for it to have new aesthetics added.

2) I don't have a RAW on this but there is precedence in today's tech arsenal, as in this 2010 news article, for example: Implanted Fuel Cell Powered by Rat's Body Fluids.

The Exchange

The installation price doesn't make sense to me. If you're buying the veemod separately then you're just buying the veemod.

Where do you end up paying the double price?
Who gets the mark-up?
Are there two types of veemods for each color? goggles and eyes?

Unless there are actually two different types of veemods, which opens up a whole new can of worms, I think it's suggesting the installation cost is double, not the market cost of the actual item. Installation cost is typically 10% of the market price for the item, so installing a veemod in cybernetic eyes would be 10% of the eyes cost + 20% of the veemod cost. Thoughts? Am I missing something?
