I'm hoping for a room on the other side of one of the doors. I suggested the wooden door as it would be faster to open, giving whatever is on the other side less time to prepare.

I'm not opposed to open the metal door though.

The PRD matches, but does not link directly to the subtype.

It's your call though. I can go ahead and roll another d3 for damage 8P


Elementals are one of the few creature types that did keep their immunity to criticals, sneak attacks and flanking. It is something The Gretch plans on abusing in a few more levels.

Sadly, elementals are not affected by critical hits.

The greensting scorpion grants a +4 initiative bonus & alertness. The Gretch would be +13 initiative if he took Improved Initiative.


Seeing something approaching, The Gretch leaps to his feet with a sudden hiss.

Given the frequency of rolls, I'm not sure its even possible to rest for more than 20-30 minutes without triggering an encounter.

I appreciate the map. It is almost impossible for me to target AoE spells properly without one.


Observing the skeletons movements, The Gretch moves forward while chanting a spell in a strange chittering language. As he finishes casting, he tosses a blob of oily black slime, coating the ground beneath the skeletons with the viscous substance.

Move to H11. Cast Grease, covering H7 -> I8. DC17 reflex saves for the three skeletons in the affected area.


The Gretch is going to delay. He does not have a lot to use on skeletons.


From his position behind the party, The Gretch observed the kobold skeletons, anticipating their inevitable attack.
