Hey everyone.
I know I haven't been around even more than usual. Unfortunately the reason for that is I failed my fort save and caught the plague. I'm one of the "Lucky" ones in that so far my symptoms are mild, but i did manage to pick up one of the rarer effects of dizziness and confusion. It's taking some time and effort just to type this paragraph because I keep forgetting what I'm doing. It's very irritating.
So feel free to bot me for as long as needed, and I will not expect any credit for letting testudo be a damage cannon to keep you guys alive. Please, have fun, be awesome, and maybe someday I'll be able to come back, but right now RPGs just aren't in the stars.

Following up his friends attack, Testudo drives his lance forward, trying to finish the enemy as Kegan attacks.

Your faithful turtle ridcer cannon will just continue to follow wherever the rest of the group points.
Oread Fighter 1 Cavalier Beast Rider Gendarme 6
Testudo likely won't want to run, but if prompted by his friends even he doesn't have the bravado to try and take on a dragon alone.
Oread Fighter 1 Cavalier Beast Rider Gendarme 6
Testudo lowers his visor and grits his teeth, looking to his companions, though uncharacteristically, he stays quiet.... even he knows not to mess around when a dragon is involved.

100% floating turtle ferry!
Roshi grunts happily at the acknowledgment, but wriggles his legs unhappily as he floats across the gap with others on his back.
Testudo nods to Kegan.
Seems like a fine choice to me my comrade! To the west!

Testudo looks at the statues for a moment.
I have been through many dangers and dungeons... a room with no exit often hides one... especially with this many beautiful adornments! Perhaps they turn or some such? Anyone want to try?

Okay, if your okay still using your spell,(Better than my plan!)that'll allow me to not take the AOO for moving I think, and not drop my lance. I don't wanna cause to much headache re-doing stuff however, so I'll just say that Roshi puts some distance between him and the pit, say 30 feet, as soon as he's up for Testudo's turn.

Testudo takes the blows stoically, but that hurt!

... perhaps a little to stoically. Since he doesn't move at all, his lance clattering to the ground. Roshi looks up at his master, confused at the lack of loud noise emanating from his back.
It was nice knowing you guys... Just save me the cost of body retrieval if you can?

DON'T WORRY FRIEND! FOR I AM TESTUDO GRAECA! ROSHI! THE FLYING TURTLE!
Roshi groans in annoyance and... jumps into the ladder way down. It makes an odd "SQUEAK!" sound as he slides into the hole. Roshi and his rider land at the bottom with a heavy "THUD!" Roshi groans as he climbs to his feet again.
I assume it's not more than 10 feet down? In which case Roshi will take Fall damage nonlethal: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Testudo meanwhile strikes out with his lance at the undead menace.

Testudo nods along as his friends interrogate. Best to leave them to what they where good at.
I make no judgment or expectations of a man and his wife's marriage bed. He remarks. So I will not assume to her status as a maiden. But as you say, it is merely a turn of phrase. Be she be older than the dragon or a babe in the cradle, all I care about is that she is danger, and I will aid in her rescue.
As to were to go next, Testudo muses.
Best to start at the dungeons and work up so we are not surprised from behind while we are cleaning out this den of evil.
Oread Fighter 1 Cavalier Beast Rider Gendarme 6
Forsooth! A damsel in distress?!
Testudo speaks at a normal, even for a normal person, voice level, his seriousness clear as he restrains himself from shouting. This is... probably his version of a whisper.
How dare that dragon put a Maiden's life at risk! My lance cannot find his heart soon enough.

If anything it's the opposite. I'm dying to play right now, and I can't really play with my normal groups very well because discord/voicechat style does a number with my anxiety. Just dealing with a lot of loss and stress right now.

Leaves from the vine
Falling so slow
Like fragile tiny shells
Drifting in the foam
Little soldier boy
Come marching home
Brave soldier boy
Comes marching home
Those leaves did grow
From branches overgrown
Drifting slowly down
Resting on the loam
Little soldier boy
Taken from home
Forced to fight a war
That's not his own
Leaves from the vine
Falling so slow
Like fragile tiny shells
Drifting in the foam
Little soldier boy says
"Carry me home"
Sleeping soldier boy
Is carried home

GM Irish202, I would again like to apologize, and I am apologizing publicly as my prior statement should have been made privately if only to prevent the accidental portrayal of you as the bad guy in this situation. Your not, and I don't want anyone to think you are.
Keagan, your right of course. I reacted badly do to a combination of over stress and other factors. This is not an easy time for anyone right now, and so while it's no excuse, I hope you'll all accept my reason for being upset and my outburst and accept my apology for any additional stress I may have caused.
GM Irish, I'll take the credit you have very graciously offered, and I'll buck up and keep playing. I hope I can give a better showing this time around. Thank you all again for your patience with me.
Oread Fighter 1 Cavalier Beast Rider Gendarme 6
Quick Note: I am not angry or upset at our GM. I'm only upset with myself and my failure to support folks who where counting on me, even if it was only for an online game. Our GM is doing what is the best thing by offering to give me a half point, and I appreciate their willing to do even that, considering that my absence has undoubtedly been a pain in their rear end this entire time.

Oread Fighter 1 Cavalier Beast Rider Gendarme 6
It wouldn't, but I'll admit to being a little miffed.
Look, I get it, I haven't been around as much. I basically had life take over and rather than ruin it decided to let you guys have the character as bot until I could come back, and I assumed if he died or something, no big deal it would be in service to your greater story.
I dunno, i guess if you guys really like the character and playing with him I could stay in, but frankly i'd rather take no experience and no gold for the adventure and at least leave open the chance to replay it someday rather than have to track a random .5 that will never mean anything the rest of this character's career other than to constantly remind me "Hey, remember that time that you abandoned some of your online friends because depression, a shitty job, and a global pandemic made you feel like shit and not be willing to play a game you used to find joy in? Great times right?"
So yeah...
Like I said, if GMIrish202 would do me the favor of not crediting me for this last adventure, and if you guys still want me around, I'll stick around and try to be present during the next round.
Oread Fighter 1 Cavalier Beast Rider Gendarme 6
Nah, it's fine. But I think if that's the case I'm gonna drop. Have fun guys.

So. Pandemic cost me my job. It sucks. But hey, I got some more time to post now, so you'll see me more often I hope.
