Note: I'm going to work with Bigrin to get this character's campaign status fixed. He is in fact a legal core character, and has always been played as such. BUT at some point a GM reported a game as non-core and inadvertently converted the character (le sigh). I'm hoping I can get him fixed in short order.

Okay! Bigrin responded to me pretty quickly and got this character corrected so that when you go to report this game this character shouldn't present any problems!

One final note is that in kicking the dust off of this character I took stock of Telos' boons and recorded them in the profile. I might actually pay attention to and try to use them for once :P (I've traditionally ignored any of them that didn't grant a special race or archetype).

PaleDim here. I actually have a core Sorcerer 10 here, and it's pretty rare to get high-level play. Got room?

Darn. I've got a core 3 and a core 10.

Pietro bought that flaw off with prestige at the end. Honestly he's too sanguine for that sort of thing. To sanguine for many things in fact, and not himself all that prestigious.

I recall :) Telos could only afford to pay off *half* of it now, so here we are with the dark-moody edge-halfling.

Beer... no. That won't do at this time. Better to go straight for the hard stuff and lean into the darkness. Bartender! A single-malt from the Linnorm kingdoms! No less than 25 years!

Then, muttering under his breath just loud enough for Pietro to hear, he remarks. I might as well enjoy it.

I sluggish halfling follows Pietro into the tavern, seemingly to quickly escape the outdoors.

Ug, Pietro did you notice how extra bright it is outside today? It was giving me a headache that should only come after ale.

The cleric notices that his eye color has faided to a dull gray, and that he's blinking for a prolonged time to recover from daylight.

Suddenly I rather like the dimness in here. Maybe I'm more of a "dive" person than I thought.

After his death at the end of thornkeep Telos is a little short of the 10 pp (grimaces). But hey, one scenario to RP a hideous corruption through sounds about right for the experience (the RP "experience", not XP :P)

Now, what are the odds we can find a GM running part 3 :P

I can work on the chronicles for this for you two then. Though being halfway through the module the most I can offer you is half gold and prestige.

@Telos- Can you send me a screenshot of your sessions tab for the rest of those Thornkeep games or really any you are missing chronicles for.

I have chronicles through the end of Thornkeep, so none from Cradle yet. I believe he was telling us XP, prestige/fame and gold for the first two parts of Cradle, presumably until paperwork could be done.

Our reporting ends with the 4th part of Thornkeep. Screen incoming Tyranius.

Aaaaand I just noticed this note on most of our thornkeep reports, and the tomb of righteous repose (which we used partway through to bridge a level gap to align with the later parts of thornkeep):

"Character is incorrect organized play type PFSRPG for table of type PFSPFC." so I guess our characters got auto-converted from CORE partway through?

Hrm, guess I should have paid closer attention along the way. Honestly this had been a great group up until it sort of went defunct. We got through Thornkeep in just over a year, which was pretty awesome.

At the end, Pietro an myself were the only active members. The others seemed to have disappeared and then the GM got busy too and decided we'd call it a wrap at this point. I wasn't clear on how far we were through this final part of the trilogy.

As I look back, I'm actually thinking we missed a lot of reporting. We did all 5 parts of Thornkeep, and all the way through Cradle of night up to this point (all in CORE mode). We're missing the last part of Thornkeep and I think all three (or two and partial third) of Cradle. So, admittedly I should have noticed that sooner but we were actively playing until recently and I hadn't given it much thought beyond the chronicles.

Okay, fair enough. So the only thing left here is a chronicle for whoever cares. Telos certainly does, I'd like to try my hand at seeker level play *soonish*, as this is in fact my highest level 1st ed character in PFS.

Pietro, what do you think of recruiting replacement fellow players (if 9-10 level core characters are still active) and a new GM to relieve our busy friend? Perhaps if some players needed Part 3, they could play the end of part 2 for no credit and continue on?

(I find it hard to just quit and give up after such a long run that we had here :D)

Hello, I just wanted to let everyone know I will be away from access to computers and unable to post this Saturday, 2/27 (all day). I will be back and able to catch up early in the afternoon (US/Pacific time) the next day. Bot me as needed.

Telos was offering goods and then coin. He truly doesn't know the local information economy, so his approach was genuine. Assuming we don't storm off or go to violence, our options seem to be: keep negotiating somewhat blindly; or else retreat temporarily and Gather Information on the streets about cost expectations with him (i.e., learn the local info economy)

It might be time for the bard to do his thing...

Telos sighs and piles the affects back into his pack.

Oh.. I have coin. Time to find out how much works. For information like this I suspect it won't be cheap. But, we also don't know the local information economy. How does 500 gold coins sound?

Telos immediately goes into his pack and begins a lowball offer made up of physical quantity over quality.

Um... let's see. A wand of mage armor, a wand of magic weapon, two alchemist's fires, seventeen cold iron sling bullets...

He skips over his wand of cure light wounds and doesn't pull it out...

that's for me... OH! Like six days of trail rations! Eat like the hardy adventurers of the surface. Really get the gritty experience. All of this could be yours! Good stuff, right?

Telos snaps his finger and dismisses the ball of flame before it can come into contact with any merchandise.

Oh, well, it seems your shop had some pests in it. They were quite aggressive. We took the opportunity to creatively passify them!

He pauses for several awkward moments, and looks around to ensure no-one else is in the shop.

Telos motions for Aiyana to approach the archway, listen and perhaps translate. Assuming Telos can't understand them, because undercommon.

I suppose Telos should cast detect magic as well, but.... that is pretty obvious and overt so i figured it's better to exhaust other options and get in some trust with the shopkeep first.

Telos enters quietly, knowing that at any moment Pietro may make a boisterous announcement anyway. He looks to see if there is, in fact, anything of value in this place at all or if it's strictly just cover.

At first he does nothing more than nod hello to the shopkeep, assuming that it is in fact Shevarimarr. But maybe not, perhaps the visible desk attendant is cover too.

Supposedly a well-informed denizen of this city. I had hoped to get more out of Nomianna, because approaching him seems like it would be obvious to the Reborn. We'll just have to do our bet to be subtle about meeting with him.

Telos backs out of the dingy tavern slowly, never turning his back to the "locals."

Telos turns a rare shade of pale in fright at Pietro's gesturing to him in the hive of scum and villany. Gah! What are you promising you bumbling cleric?!!?!

Then, after moment with a look of resent and resign, Okay, if it gets us the info, FINE. But it'll entail mage hand from a distance! This had better be worth it...

Telos looks surprise at Darven, not sure who he's addressing.

Food, drink? No, just better equipment for the assault.

The player doesn't care if the tie breaks the other way. He's just been spurred to urgency for a more final resolution by Aiayanna. Rescuing seems like a whack-a-mole sub-quest: fix one small problem just to let another arise.

Okay, so in that case please level yourselves up ...

Done. Telos took the "Wall of Force" spell at his new spell level, and spent much of his gold upgrading his bracers of armor and ring of protection (still under his fame item cost limit). Is it kosher to assume that could be a stop-off along the way?

While planning, i will also give you the benefits of receiving up to two (2) spells per level as buffs she will cast on you before you leave, as she is a seventh level oracle. So you can get (2)-(2)-(2) up to third level spells as buffs if you wish.

Does she not have a set spell list? Oracles don't get to pick from the full divine list daily.

Telos thinks on the Ferryman again, asking Aiayanna Do you trust him to not broadcast having interesting "customers"? Also, is there a purveyor of magical items along the way?

It seems time is short. We'd need to go talk Shevarimarr for info about where the council is being held, and that may still be a telegraphing move allowing the Reborn to fortify their position at Ancestor Isle, expecting us. I think we should go directly there, perhaps after a sufficient rest.

Well... our noses had only just come over the Cradle when they were taking it. It's not as if we had it at home at left it out. We failed to impede them once, but we're still in the race with them. We just need your help.
