I do, and so does my brother, but he had the advantage of starting his shield champion at 8th with module/AP credit.

Tatho should be ready to go by start time, but I have other options if needed.

He got away once. Not this time.

"Maybe so. My big friend here is quite adept at making people into fertilizer." Tatho smiles. "If you don't want to nurture the next crop, I might suggest cooperating against Dulm."

Tatho isn't opposed to letting them live, but is pretty sure his faction would prefer he eliminate them so they cannot continue trading in slaves. We might be able to convince some of them to surrender.

Looking forward to playing the followup at PaizoCon. Hopefully there will be a low tier table for Tatho.

Tatho moves up and watches the northern building, taking a moment to check the enlarged foe for lifesigns.

Heal to stabilize: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

Seeing the giant well in hand, Tatho moves to keep the party from further flank attempts.

Shield Bash on Dog: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Damage on Dog: 1d3 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 3 + (5) = 9

Ugh, maybe against flat-footed?

Scimitar AoO on Green, Studied Target: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 2 = 25
Damage on Green: 1d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10

"Lay down already!" Tatho barks, slashing out with his blade.

"I am just saying, surrender before he does the same to you is a wise idea." Tatho points out, stepping away towards the green cloaked thug. He sizes the man up before attempting another heavy bash into the wall.

Shield Bash on Green, Studied Target: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 2 = 24
Damage on Yellow: 1d3 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 = 6

Okay, hopefully that roll knocks him down!

Grunting in pain, Tatho squeezes his eyes tight for a moment before rolling to the side. Spying the rest of the guards, he calls out "More unfriendly faces!" to the party, putting his shield between himself and the dangerous falchion as he rises.

Total defense, then move action to stand, 5ft step out of the flank. AC21 for the AoOs, 25 until next turn.

Following Tony's lead, Tatho tries to dart out the door and catch the guard by surprise.

Stealth, Full Speed: 1d20 + 10 - 5 ⇒ (10) + 10 - 5 = 15
Shield Bash on Yellow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Damage on Yellow: 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Sneak Attack: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Provoking any AoOs as needed, if that hits it's an 18 against her CMD to bullrush into the door. She'll go prone if successful, and if she fails to spot him moving in, swift action to study her.

Tatho readies his shield to knock the first foe around.

"Ready when you are." Tatho agrees.

Sounds like a plan. I assume Khugron would cast the spell while reasonably distant and rely on the duration to keep up while we move in.

Knowledge Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

"Well, thinking about it I heard someone at the party talking it up. It closed after slaves got scarce. A pity we missed its fish and rice meal."

"I'm not familiar with the area, so that'd help quite a bit, it's true." Tatho agrees, turning to the party. "Do any of you know the place?"

"Pathfinder's honor." Tatho promises, making a cross motion over his chest.

Looking at the sacks, Tatho shakes his head with a rueful smile. "Let me get my armor then." he tells the goblins, glancing at the rest of the party for consensus.

I'm in no rush to finish, Tatho has no pressing appointments.

"Easy there, he's given up." Tatho warns, waving the magus off.

Create pit actually isn't dismissable. :( Glitterdust is a good alternative however.

"Alchemist fire! Acid? Anything to throw down there?" Tatho suggests, looking at the sticky substance covering Khugron. Cursing the luck at his caltrops being back by the bed in his pack, he checks the body of the man in front of him for another tanglefoot bag to hand to Remy.

Seeing his chance, Tatho dashes out of hiding to try and catch the enemy off guard. He swings his shield towards the man's face, trying to force him backwards.

Shield Bash: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Damage: 1d3 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 = 8
Sneak Attack: 1d6 ⇒ 4

If the 20 hits, then it is also a bull rush attempt, hopefully against his flatfooted CMD. If the sneak attack does through, he'll become Tatho's studied target.

I knew he could, but didn't think it in character. He'll probably consider it going forward, but he didn't want to pay for damaging the bed. :)

Edit: Oh that poor sap is NOT going to like what Tatho has planned, especially if he doesn't see it coming.

Didn't bring it up earlier, but could Tatho get both scimitar and shield out? The quick draw shield seems to reference it as if you were carrying it, but with TWF you are able to ready both weapon and shield as part of a move action. If not, no problem, he'll have to decide if he wants to take the time to get the sword or try to surprise someone with just the shield.

Rolling out of bed, Tatho reaches for his shield, using the bed to hopefully go unnoticed while he readies himself.

Setting down his armor, Tatho looks at Remy for a moment. "I guess we did make a scene at the end there. You think we'll be attacked?"

I'd say split by genders, but that leaves Helvega alone. But she does have Cuddles to protect her.

Shaking his head at the spectacle, Tatho watches the fallen bards, evaluating just how badly off they are. "Makes no sense. It smells like a setup. Best we talk to the venture captain and see what he thinks of the intel."

"Can't make head nor tails of any of this." Tatho admits.

Taking long, deep breaths, Tatho moves in. "I suppose we'll take these now." he comments to the resident, picking up the papers and browsing them.

Tatho continues to watch the fight helplessly, trying to at least gauge the will left in the monster.

Studied Target on the beast for his only action.

Leaning against the wall, Tatho staggers to the doorway, looking at the revealed room through bleary eyes.

There is stillgut.

Tatho moves out of the cloud, trying to breath in clean air and clear his lungs.

Aaugh, I blocked that thread from my mind. Tatho will be back next fight, guys.

Tatho will be looking into that alchemical item you can use as a move action to settle nausea!

Coughing and puking, Tatho stumbles back from the horrid monster.

Tatho studies the man with a rased eyebrow, careful to watch for threats. "Just calm down, no one is looking to kill you. We'll be on our way soon enough."

Tatho does a quick once-over on the door for any defenses.

"Anyone know these guys? Dulm faction or just dupes?" Tatho ponders. "Either way, nothing on them looks helpful to proving anything."

"Well, that could have gone worse." Tatho observes, cleaning and sheathing his scimitar. "Not much to see here, is there?"

Tatho moves in behind the only face he doesn't recognize, swinging his scimitar out while the man is distracted.

I can't see why. It's a +2 bonus, untyped, so it should count. I guess not being on 'the list' causes confusion.

My brother runs an unchained rogue/unchained barbarian, which I've been meaning to test out as well. Just not enough opportunity.

I rock regular barbarians, but I like the idea of the unchained ones better. My core barb/ranger is always concerned about Sudden Death Syndrome, enough that he only rages when it seems dire. My invulnerable rager was much the same before picking up Raging Vitality.
