Surprised, Tarcog says “You’ve been to Hermea?” “I want to visit there someday. See what a land governed by a dragon is like. I heard that some of the lands of Tien Xa were ruled by a dragon as well, but no one knows where it went.” ![]()

The kobold looks the elf up and down before approaching them. Holding out a hand, he says “Tarcog, pleased to meet you.” “I like the design of your armor and rod. Is there a story behind them?” ![]()
![]() Tarcog’s Application Form The application is Player's forum handle: BretI
Downtime: Earn Income Crafting (E): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 ★ ---- ★ ---- ★ ---- ★ Character Details 1) Any special rules, boons, or corner cases you need to let me know about: No. 2) A few sentences about your character, both out of character and in character as your character would describe themself. Why are you in the Pathfinder Society? What are your character’s quirks, interests and pet peeves? Where are you from? (And if this is not originally a Pathfinder Society Character, tell me about what makes them a good fit for this story.) Current character is a level 3 Kobold summoner in love with electrical attacks. He has an electrical breath weapon, his eidolon has an electrical breath weapon, he has a lot of electrical spells. I am skirting the boundaries of being too concentrated in electrical attacks.
Tarcog is a kobold with shiny bronze scales and fancy clothing. He has a prominent silver symbol of a dragon above a pool hanging from his neck. Those trained in such things would recognize it as Apsu’s religious symbol. His hands are wrapped in a silk covering. He is followed by a small bronze dragon. Seeing the others he says “Welcome friends! Did you also receive a mysterious invitation to investigate a mystery? I’m hoping it will involve dragons, for surely there can be nothing more magnificent and mysterious than dragons!” “I am Tarcog and this is my friend Amvolwatt, as you can see we are both mighty dragons!” He eagerly greets each of you, extending a handshake and a warm smile. He will even greet Silence, asking Meadow before offering the owl some rat jerky. Some of you may get the feeling you shouldn’t investigate what he considers trail rations too closely. 3) If you have to level your character to level seven for the first chapter (‘The Lady’s Harvest’) are there any special changes you’re planning on making to it? My base character is only level 3, so I will need to level it a lot. I will be looking hard at the Snarecrafter and possibly trapsmith archetypes as part of leveling up. He is a kobold, they have a proud history of excelling at trapmaking. He will be almost useless if you ask him to deactivate a trap. He has no skill in thievery and I don’t anticipate him ever getting it. “I build them, not break them!” 4) What was your character’s previous favorite adventure, and why? Bounty #1, where we Spoiler:
exposed a fake dragon! Return to the Grave where Spoiler:
he found out there are such things as friendly undead! Mind blowing! 5) Why do you want to investigate in the Dark Archives Case Files? It is very different than other adventures he has been on and I heard the second adventure takes place in a boat. He is interested in any adventure involving water. 6) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?) Yes. 7) Is there a botting spoiler already in your character’s profile? (Hint, hint!) The profile has not been updated since first level. I promise to work on that, but may need to create a different alias just so as to not confuse it with the actual version of the character in society play. I will be using a different alias for Amvolwatt. Last time I used this alias. This application has been fact checked by a Dirindi editor. ![]()
![]() A bronze-scaled kobold overhears the word underwater and comes over. “Oh! A fight underwater! Can I come?!? I’ll bring my dragon!” It isn’t a reunion tour though if we all swap to different characters. That said, I do have a character that actually wants to play in an underwater scenario. Has Underwater Maurauder and an aquatic Eidolon. ![]()
![]() Tarcog and his dragon were using the webs to hold the pieces of the various skeletons in place when he notices how the medical practice is going. With a look of concern, Tarcog comes over. “I have this that might help?” he says, bringing out a Minor Healing potion. Handing it to Sabasti he adds “Go ahead and drink it.” ![]()
![]() Tarcog, the new kobold who joined your group, doesn’t seem to like the rain. He likes wet clothing even less. His shiny bronze scales are pretty good about repelling water, but his clothing probably weighs more than him with all the water it has soaked up. “Finally! A nice cavern to protect us from that dreadful rain! Now I will not short out!” As soon as he is inside, he starts wringing out his clothing and using his magic to warm and clean it. At Ezren’s mention of climbing down, Tarcog says “Not all caverns are dank! I happen to like caverns.” He moves further into the cave and then summons his friend Sparks. Sparks is a small bronze dragon, about the size of a large hound or small bear. It preens itself, then looks at Tarcog and says something in Draconic.
Draconic:
”You’re all wet!” Tarcog just gives the dragon a look, then resumes trying to get the clothing dry. “So where is this Urgir?” Looking to Bubba, he says “A meal would give us time to finish drying out. Sounds like a plan to me!” |
