Slightly embarrassed Tal simply takes on a stern look and allows Ro to mete out whatever "justice" she would on those who, truth be told, aren't much different than perhaps Ro was just a few short years ago!

Ro and Tal Perception Talene sighs and points out the thieves to Ro, "We should intervene". She begins to move in the direction to do just that assuming Ro will follow.

"Plus with how busy I'm going to be tomorrow, I won't be able to stay out to late tonight so more time with Ameiko and her crew the better, I mean how often do I get a full day off from both the Temple duties and helping my parents with, whatever it is they ask me to do to prevent me from doing anything really interesting. Of course, they think I'm at the Temple all day helping so when you see them don't disabuse them of that notion!"

Round 2 Talene releases more divine fury, "Go back to the grave" she says through gritted teeth as it attacks and hurts Alrec.

Talene follows behind Oshii trying to move as silently as possible . She grips the hilt of her Starknife tightly a bit nervous and a bit excited all at once. She keeps her eyes and ears focused ahead for danger but holds up when Oshii speaks to Ro as Talene knows Ro knows these types of scenarios way better! Well sneaking maybe not fighting kidnappers Tal thinks to herself.
1. Yeah, that would be a good idea! LOL. 2. I purchased a Silver Holy Symbol (2 GP) and a Healer's Kit (5 GP). That leave me with 4 GP and 5 SP. I'll stay put there. Talene's not adventuring yet, she just wants to so that pack is really for long stretches of camping right now. But maybe someday... 3. Will do. I generally change the spells based on what I believe I may encounter as an adventure progresses. DM ONLY: Absolutely re Tobyn and Nualia. I did not mention Nualia as I figured that Talene had very little interaction with her considering how young she was. It was her parents that knew Tobyn so while she was sad that he died, her real mentor has been Father Zantus. I only vaguely recall Nualia even though I did run part of the first adventure.
I know Oshii and Ro, Ro and I PM'ed about Background synergies. As Syeira works at teh Dragon and Talene is friends with Ameiko, makes sense that Talene would know her as well. I will be weaving those three into my expanded background, probably Sunday night. Thanks DM!
That would absolutely make sense. Talene would admire Oshii overcoming so much tragedy and being dedicated to seeing the future in a positive way.

Syeira and Talene would know one another, Talene is good friends with Ameiko and this hangs out at the Rusty Dragon. So definitely a link between our characters.
LOL RdKnight, I was strongly considering reskinning the DMPC I ran so those characters shall meet again! Going Human, Cloistered Cleric. Based on my workload I probably won't have the full build out done till Friday though. Background Student of Faith EDIT: I will be using this Avatar so I will be playing her as an actual PC (finally). Faith - Desna. My first question DM, how do Archetypes work in PF2? Are they feats that grant a different set of abilities than your base class would normally get? They are then selected as am alternate option from base class feats as you level? Blessed One would be a good fit for my concept.

"Well, that's not good, look at the size of that porcupine and it's injured! Are any of you good with animals? Perhaps I can aid it if someone can get it to not attack us."

I am ready to move on to the caravan, the boards being down have really deflated my desire to play or run so I have not really given much thought to Sandpoint RP.
Tal grins at Shelelu, "Glad to have you with us".
She turns to Inari and hugs him, dirt and all, "I can go. I'm free to go with you all!"
Talene holds back tears of joy as Father Zantus agrees that it is time for her to spread her wings, "Thank you Father. I will do my best to write as much as I can. It's not that I am jealous of their attention as much as I regret not having been there to make a difference. You are right, I did make a difference and I suppose I just lament the lost experiences more so than the difference I have made here. The people I have aided and befriended here in Sandpoint will always be near my heart. I promise I will try to say goodbye one more time before I go". She gives Zantus a hug and a kiss on the cheek and rushes to the Rusty Dragon as if she were just a young girl. She waves and smiles at those she sees in the streets and bursts through the doors of teh Dragon like her hair is on fire. "Ameiko. Yuki. Great news!"
Tal approaches the Father and asks to have a private meeting with him the next morning after the Kaijitsu announcement. "I know that I have long been here, A stalwart even when my friends, the Godtouched, left the Cathedral. It seemed that my connection to Desna waned a bit as the powers I had received faded with the defeat of the Runelords. I love it here, I always have, my heart will always be here. But... Ameiko and Yuki have asked me to accompany them on a trip to I suppose re-discover their family roots. I want very much to go. I ask your permission to do so as I do not want to leave you if you feel you need me. While my heart is here my mind wanders free and wishes to see the world in a way I never have before. So, well, that's.. that's it". She smiles and looks at her superior expectantly not sure of how he will react.

Tal shakes her head at Ameiko's statement, "That storm three days later is what Sabyl mentioned to me as well. The story certainly checks out". Tal winks at Inari, "I'll never doubt you again. If we are to go on a grand adventure I will need to get approval from Father Abstalar. We also need to get that sword fixed and buy a few supplies for the journey! So much to d, so little time all of the sudden".
This is the one from above the door at Savah's Armory? I think it's masterwork, yeah. That's the one! Crap, Craft Magic Arms and Armor has to wait till 5th level. Still, I think using the repeater with magical ammo will allow me to focus on spells that are not of the Blast genre, especially now that Corenna will be a Blasty Sorcerer :-)
Talene smiles at Inari, "I would but mission accomplished right? We defeated the Goblins and returned home safe".
Tal's arms and shoulders are clearly sore and she looks tired to be sure, "Geez, sorry Correna even though I see you every day at the Cathedral I just wasn't thinking, we sure could have used you! I am not sure we'll have any more adventures but if we do I will make sure I run and get you". She heads to Savah's to stare whistfully at the Repeating Crossbow she still cannot afford, you know, just in case another adventure comes along. Thereafter, she visits Risa to regale her of the tale of the swamp trek as she knows the old blind woman does not get out much. She then heads to the House of Blue Stones to visit with Sabyl Sorn and get her take on how she thinks the ships may have ended up in the swamp, she is after all, one of the best historians in town. Finally, Tal heads to the Cathedral after dinner and shopping to make a report to Father Abstalar, though she does not mention the letter found as that is Kaijitsu business alone.

Tal would be interested in: 100GP obviously as the reward.
I assume the Jewelry to be family Heirlooms and would take only if the Kaijitsu were to offer it. Of the 355 GP acquired, she would tithe 35 to the Cathedral and would be willing to part with another 70 to assist in the repair of the broken blade for whoever claims it. Leaving her with 250 GP to add to her sheet. Let me know if anyone objects.
"Sure, who is a better guard than me. Maybe we can take turns Yuki? I don't need any treasure from it sweetie, helping Sandpoint and reuniting you with long lost family heirlooms is reward enough. Though I should get at least one drink on the house I hope!"
Talene smiles as the chest opens, "Yuki! Your sister will be so happy we found this. Inari, I know I cannot lift this, does this seem like something you could carry or do we leave it here and retrieve it from the town with Ameiko's help?"
Talene channels positive energy for herself and Inari - Channel "Well, that was exciting and not in an entirely good way..." She prays to Desna for aiding herself and her allies.

Tal turns back towards the sound coming from the tunnel.
"Thief? Isn't this a ship that belonged to your ancestors Yuki? Well, we're taking her things back and you can go to your final rest".
Tal holds her breath the words of a spell to harm the dead on her lips.
"Ware my friends, this may be no benign unfortunate soul whose remains sit atop that chest..."
Tal sends her lights dancing about the cavern once more. Perception "A treasure chest? It's as if we have stumbled upon a children's tale of lost treasures and sunken ships!" Knowledge Religion
Take shrugs and grins at Inari, "Lead on brave warrior!"
Tal uses her lights to illuminate and search the chamber as she doubts she will ever come again. Perception
