Tagatha blinks hard for a moment as the vertigo overcomes him. The room, the spiders, those ENORMOUS feet...subconsciously he tucks his tail in to avoid a nasty stomping. Assessing quickly, he decides staying together is the wiser choice. He moves over toward the others near the fireplace (S6) and extends his senses towards the crack. (Use Detect Magic on the area.)

Tagatha is taken aback by the strength of the auras around him. "Very odd, this." He nods at the wizard. "I can see what you mean. This old shop could be seen as a burden." He leans in to the old man. "But those of us who can see would tell a different tale. All is not as it seems, is it?" The sorceror looks up as others come in. He nods to each in turn, and returns to hear what the old man has to say.

Tagatha ambles in to the store, looking around with mild distaste at the clutter. "Greetings. I heard there was a sale. Don't mind if I do look." He eyes the cat as it sits perched on the wizard's lap, and he smiles at it - all feline teeth. He spends time searching about, attuning his senses to anything useful, but not touching anything with his hands. Simple magic will keep the paws clean. Using Detect Magic and Prestidigitation to search.
Idly, Tagatha asks the old man, "So what happened to your business?

Please choose one of them, you cannot do 2 standard action :) So there's no point in casting spells in this scenario. I won't be able to move. I thought each square gives you a choice on which square to move to. So you are saying I move left-to-right, then down a row, then left-to right again, and so on? I confess I don't know what square is '3' and the bull isn't moving so I don't really follow what is happening.

If I understand it right, we level up to the next level - for me, 3rd. I take my earnings for this encounter, and if I am short what the rules say should be my WBL for 3rd, I add the extra. So I earned 2051gp, 5 sp. For 3rd level, WBL is 3000gp. I take what I already have, add the earnings, and see where I am compared to the 3000gp. If I am short, I get the difference.
