For the GM About Sunny: 'Sunny' (As she prefers to be called by her friends) is a cheery, happy soul. Having grown up innitally amongst her kin in the far off islands. She's been about the world exploring the many ports and harbors. She and her companions have been exploring. Looking and listening for some where to settle another new colony of her kin. N'so, a description o' th' kin 'Back home'. Island Elves of which she wus a part of would seem to be more 'Native' like. Simple hunter, gather-ers who might supplement things with a bit of 'natural' crop farming and other horticulture'l endeavors. Now, bein' Native don't mean bein' Stoopid. *Frowns and waggles a warning finger at folks* Since they're more like Seals then Fish, they'd be on goodly terms wi' th' Merfolks there abouts an' probably have good trade relations wi' 'em. As fer raiders an' such? Well, every community puts up with that sort o' folk in a fantasy setting, right (^.~) ? Suny's (Elasandriel) kith and kin have been living on the edges of the sea from time immemorial. Whether it was exploring some new and pristine beach or scampering about the rigging of whatever sailing vessel was the fashion of the day. Being 'Of the sea and shore' are part of her nature. Every day raiments: Some sort of webbing/net wrapped about her lithe tanned frame. Various shells, jewelry, stones, ivory act as both decoration and fasteners to hold her 'Dress' in place. While about her hips a belt is draped, only small incidental seeming items adorn said simple heshian material (Wushu darts, her cestus when she's not wearing them. Her tonfa tucked across the small of her back) Most of her 'Serious' gear is currenlty stowed away carefully in/on her saddle bags. That her saddle bags are currently mounted on her VERY large snek.

Quiz Show: Knowledge (Nature), to identify likely aquatic guardians. Technically? Sunny should be able to use,possibly, both 'Knowledge local' and/or her survival skill.. being all naturally aquatic and such... Survival:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Survival, to tell weather and gauge the winds. Survival:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Knowledge (Nobility), to identify if any of the ships are carrying wealthy patrons. Sunny just blinks her wide, blue eyes at the question. "Uhhh... is a big ship?" Knowledge (Planes), to identify Denizens of the Planes likely used in navigation. Sunny just blinks her wide, blue eyes at the question. "Uhhh... is flat? Oh! An' is gets rained on!?" Knowledge (Religion), take out any of the enemy clerics if there is any. Sunny just blinks her wide, blue eyes at the question. "Uhhh... they is... um... doin'... glowy stuff?" Profession (Pirate or sailor), general combat aboard ships when boarding. Profession Sailor:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Yeah... so the dice roller seems to have it in for poor Sunny in this game. Still, she'll be as honest and such about the things she does know about. Which, by the dice roller, would not seem to be a lot. :(

Sunny bounces over to Sawib and lightly bats him on the arm, "Then, may-hap ye interested in'a lil' wager?" She asks with a grin. "When time cones ta' be gettin' aboard t'other ship. We'll have a side bet of shine about which of us be gettin' ta' t'other Stern-castle first?" She smiles and looks around at her friends, "Whut say ye? Any one else intrigued by tha' idea of a... race?" (^_^)

Ah! Sorry is I! I fergots me skills with tha' helpin' of Master Kroop. During the following days Suny continues to be a bright, tanned bundle of energy. Sunny simply finds some string or twine and wears her key securely bound upon her upper arm. Come the morning she's again bright and chipper seeking to learn the ways of the Kitchen. (^_^) Sunny also suggests perhaps running some lines from the stern? Perhaps to augment the store of fish? Survival Skill:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Sunny frowns as she leans over the stern rail and looks at the two very big problems for a moment... Profession Sailor:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 Then her large blue eyes light up as she traces the rope lines, rigging and sails. Quickly scampering to the nearest rat lines Sunny proceeds to climb. Sunny's plan:
Okeys, basically trying to do a couple of things at once. First get a rope make sure it's part of the rigging holding up a main sail (Not necessarily 'The' main sail, but a good amount of canvas weight), put a loop in it and drop it over the Troll who's doing most of the work on the rudder.
Then, with the bugger lassoed, drop the sail onto the big tosser already on deck. Should give folks a round or two to have at it until it tears its way out of the canvas. Meanwhile we'll have the second one swinging free and clear in the air for ranged people to have a good go at it. (^_^)

Sunny frowns even as she bends over and sniffs at the meal simmering over the small fire place. She turns to Kroop.
"Now, ye know I be all okeys with tha' crew an' a Captain... Though, I dun't still rilly un'erstand his ways or where abouts... " And she sighs with some exasperation, "BUT! Ye also know that I bin put un'er yer learnin' an' teachin' of yer ways!" She bounces and salutes Kroop smartly with her brightest 'Can do!' smile before pointing back at the meal they're preparing. "Buuuut.. I can't be helpin' ta' notice..... Ye bin addin' more salt in't mix than last time aaand there be that, y'know," Sunny makes a dropping gesture with her hand, " Lil' bitty extra thingy ye done." She looks at/too Kroop earnestly. "Ye can be trustin' me. I is yer helper. I is learnin' all'a stuffs ye be doin'." Sunny blinks her large, blue eyes at Kroop. All honesty and trusting. Diplomacy:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 (^_^)

For the DM: Suny open the book inquisitively and leafs through the pages. She sighs, wondering what all the different squiggles and marks mean.
Looking to Kroop, she sighs again before skipping off and finding all his Rum and other alcohol stashes... and slightly watering them down (Making sure to use very clean water!) before returning and... offering Master Kroop a wake up mug... gets the help of the fellow to set things right/finish off preparing the meal. (^_^)

Sunny awakens on the new day and, for a brief moment, simply lays in the hammock and enjoys the company. Before dexterously slipping from the swaying contrivance and going about the morning's ablutions. Joining the mustered crew on deck Croop's actions elicit a whoop of excitement and giggles from the tanned Elf even as she's carried below decks. Sunny's time: Once Master Croop has introduced himself and given Sunny his instructions she bounces to attention, waves off a salute and thence turns and begins to try and do her best by every one else.
