Bugger all, my apologies, I thought I was in the recruitment thread earlier, please forgive and if you can delete me from the active players!

I'm in! Can bring one of any number of level 1 characters!

Looks like there are lot of hybrids and bases are fairly covered, yes?

Thanks GM, just need Library of the Lion now, and my trifecta of scenarios will be complete. I got Valley of Veiled Flame on -19 already!

Can you leave the name off my character's chronicle, everything else is fine, I just am not sure what he will end up with as his name.

Sukune gently lifts the sleeping Pathfinder and brings him over to Sulianna. "Here you are, ma'am."

Sukune smiles as he listens and nods as others are stepping up completely.

Sukune steps back slightly and swings at the hand.

1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 1 = 22
2d6 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (2, 6) + 9 + 3 = 20

"Finish the last ones...Kalkamedes is off towards someone..."

Swinging at the leaping hand, Sukune looks very calm with his weapon in hand, instead of a rope.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
2d6 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (2, 2) + 9 + 3 = 16

Sukune raises a brow, holding his rope. "No gnome, I know. Besides...by the looks of that circle...you are not of this world. So you were likely stuck there for a reason...and who am I to deny that reason."

Dropping the rope, Sukune rushes forward, charging the dragon, hoping to end this fast. "Someone grab the rope!"

Power Attack Charge: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 = 28
2d6 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (6, 2) + 9 + 3 = 20
Crit?: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 6 + 2 = 21
Oh gods: 4d6 + 18 + 6 ⇒ (6, 6, 4, 1) + 18 + 6 = 41

Holding the rope, he is quiet in watching what is going on.

perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Local: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Arcane: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Got to love those rolls coming there...*sigh*

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Looks about quietly as he grips the rope that holds their sleeping companion. "Lovely...that's an ideal situation to have us in...sleeping agent leads us to a filled dungeon...we should hold off until the rest of the group gets here..." he nods to the walls, "There is something down here that is clawing into the walls..."

Sukune sits up and slowly stretches, then pulls himself to his feet. "I think so...that was very odd. I'm glad it's over. Thanks for that...whoever..."

Yeah...wasn't 100% how it worked...fun...

Grunts as he hits the ground...out.

Nodding towards the door, "Seems to make the strong weaker, right...what happens when someone who is not strong gets up there?"

GM:
Trying not to help much on this, knowing the answer and it being one of the better puzzles imo

"I'm just going to stay...right...over...here" his job had become easier since Kalkamedes had stepped onto the dais, but he did not relent on said task.

Watches quietly, holding the rope from a distance. "This is worrisome..."

Ling: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Can't read the words, grumbles disliking this situation. Grips the rope tighter out of annoyance more than anything.

Ling: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Sukune just shakes his head as he holds the rope, clearly clueless.

Hanging his weapon on his back, he quickly moves to the rope dragging behind Kalkamedes, scooping it up and looking to the rest of the group. "Lets get everyone healed up quick..."

And once again he tries to restrain the Pathfinder with the rope.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

For once, Sukune ignores Kalkamedes and moves forward, drawing his hammer as he walks by the bird and up to blue.

"Need you out of the way..." and with a mighty swing, he lashes out with the big weapon.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 6 + 1 = 19
2d6 + 12 + 1 ⇒ (4, 3) + 12 + 1 = 20

1d8+1

Sukune moves up beside Baphos, putting himself between the ambushers and Kalkamedes, then gives the sleeping Pathfinder another hug.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

My post was made WAY out of order, since it was meant to be for the previous encounter. My internet has been wonky the last couple days and I had refreshed and apparently it wasn't showing a bunch of posts...sorry about that!

Holding Kalkamedes, Sukune hot foots in the direction they had been heading for about sixty or seventy feet before he finally sets the man down to let him lead the way once more.

With the aid of Baphos's spell, he attempts to pin Kalkamedes.

1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 6 + 1 = 23

Seeing his companion go after Kalkamedes and he takes that as his opportunity. Closing the distance, he adds his weight into holding the character down.

Grapple: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

"Need to get him locked down quick...then one of us needs to get into the fight."

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Sukune hangs back, his focus more on Kalkamedes.

Sukune gives a nod as he takes up his standard leashing position again.

Pin him, carry, toss the rope and hope the rest of the group can hold him until Sukune can get to the top and pull the sleeper up.

Knowing it will take too long to get in and out of his armor and deal with Kalkamedes, he decides to take a chance. He then releases the cursed pathfinder and allows him to start moving, though he rushes ahead, dropping the rope off the side.

Acro: 1d20 - 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (17) - 4 + 1 + 1 = 15

Once he is down, he rushes over to grab the rope and try and direct Kalkamedes to follow him. Not attempting to stop the man but direct them.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

The goal is to run and catch him...or use the wand on him afterwards...

Sukune will just be holding the ropes...

Sukune curses to himself as he sees what is up ahead. "This guy seems to want to get hurt." With that, he once again braces himself so the rest can figure out the problem.

Grapple: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Sukune gives a nod and pays close attention to what is going on before him, gripping the rope tightly.

"I would not wish to have him completely tied to me, just in case there is a problem. That said, if we need my weapon at some point, we should probably have someone ready to take the rope...just in case, you know?"

Then he realizes what was just talking and he shakes his head. "Have to make a point to report on that...interesting to be sure..."

Sorry...work kind of kicked my butt the last few days

"If you folks are done...I would prefer not to get hit again..."

After a moment, he finally releases the pinned pathfinder to let him wander just ahead of him.

Grumbling at getting caught off guard, Sukune buckles down and attempts to stop the sleeping man again.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Sukune plants his feet, wraps the rope around one of his arms and then grips it with both and holds tight to stop Kalkamedes movement.

CMB: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

"If you need...I can try and stop him for a moment..."

Sukune watches and then he pulls out a wand and offers it to Baphos, "Perhaps you can use this for it in the future so you do not use any of your own spells. And to heal the party as needed. Don't hesitate, I will just buy a new one if I need to."

Sukune stays ten feet behind Kalkamedes, keeping an eye out for where the wandering Pathfinder might find a path.

Putting on the cloak, he looks about, "Lets get this done..."

"I am not the best when thinks attack the mind...or I have to dodge, but I tend to be rather resilient. That cloak can go to anyone as far as I am concerned. I agree, the potion would be lost on me. There is none of it that I am in particular need of. I think having the potion of swimming or the hide potion ready to force feed Kalkamedes wouldn't be a bad idea...you know...if I have to restrain him before he gets into bad trouble..."

Sukune assists Therin, as needed.

My job just changed my securities and I can't post from work...I figured I could type up a post and message it to myself on facebook and post from my phone, but it is a process, so my posting from work is a bit less than ideal.

Shaking his head, "Your key is cute. Mine is better. I will buy Kalkamedes a new lock..."

With that, he takes the Earthbreaker from his back and swings.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
2d6 + 12 ⇒ (6, 4) + 12 = 22

"That should do."

"Is anyone in our group learned in picking locks?"

"No disrespect was meant. We must always respect those who came before, whether they be retired or passed on. Else, I would not be as strong as I am. However, people do tend to slow down when they are retired. That is all...though...he would not be on a leash...it would be a lead...completely different," the harsh looking man says with an awkward smile.

Seeing the box, he grimaces, "Ummm...hidden and locked...someone is worried about what is in there. Anyone good at picking?"

Local: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

It is hard not to hear the shifting of the large man. "I can hold him...unless he is particularly strong." Having infused his armor with Strength in the morning, the big man is anything if not strong. "And as it seems he has been mostly in retirement, studying runelords and such...he is likely not going to be a match for my strength." Pausing for a moment, he nods to the rest. "Sukune."

Effective Strength is 22

Sukune pauses and looks around, the traveling, especially in his hot armor, he looks slightly miserable.

Standing just shy of 6' tall with dark hair, Sukune doesn't look as though he is the type to messed with...but at the same time he isn't a quick tempered warrior, either.

The fellow looks as if he has some Minkaian blood and his Mammoth lord blood.. A huge hammer is strapped across his back. He appears to be ready to travel.
