Chronicle received, applied and filed.

Thank you for running - and after reading the scenario, I might just have to run it to see how another set of players deal with it. My druid is high enough for a low tier run.

And this PC now wants another mission - there is good stuff on that Chronicle.

Well .. I might have ulterior motives but .. I always find that a dessert tastes better when shared with pleasant company

Spica treats Pai to a delicious ice cream dessert, including fruit and chocolate, as promised, which they share. Very decadent but, after that mission, totally worth it.

Over the next few weeks, Spica starts using paperweights - very heavy ones, as well as asking someone to watch her as she sleeps in case she is sleep walking.

So she rolls an Aqueous Orb over Jathyl

You create a rolling sphere of churning water that can engulf those it strikes. The aqueous orb can move up to 30 feet per round, rolling over barriers less than 10 feet tall. It automatically quenches any nonmagical fires and functions as dispel magic against magical fires as long as those fires are size Large or less.

Any creature in the path of the aqueous orb takes 2d6 points of nonlethal damage. A successful Reflex save negates this damage, but a Large or smaller creature that fails its save must make a second save or be engulfed by the aqueous orb and carried along with it. Engulfed creatures are immersed in water and must hold their breath unless capable of breathing water. They gain cover against attacks from outside the aqueous orb but are considered entangled by its churning currents, takes 2d6 points of nonlethal damage at the beginning of their turn each round they remain trapped. Creatures within the orb may attempt a new Reflex save each round to escape into a random square adjacent to the aqueous orb. The orb may hold one Large creature, 4 Medium, or 16 Small or smaller creatures within it.

The sphere moves as long as you actively direct it (a move action for you); otherwise, it merely stays at rest and churns in place. An aqueous orb stops if it moves outside the spell’s range.

Drumsticks? She gets a vision of Desna on drums playing Music with Rocks in with Sheyln on harp, or keyboard and Cayden on axe guitar. Then it switches to Desna eating a chicken leg, very daintily. The band thing sounds more interesting. As she puts her spare glasses on she wonders who else would be in the band. Sarenrae with bagpipes that spit fire?

Spica realises she wasn't wearing her glasses - they must have come off during the last fight. She fumbles for the spare set.

Are you sure we can't pacify you with a new tree? Spica asked. I got plenty at home.

She casts Hydraulic Torrent in an attempt to put out the fire.

Spica has her own wand with 45 charges on it. Pai may as well use that.

Spica nods and uses an underwater sign for 'OK'.

I'm just looking for anything interesting ... but ... yes. I probably shouldn't stay in here too long cause drying out is really bad for us undines. Still ... it could be worth it if there's new magic here.

Spica starts quivering with an excitement. It's a library. Who knows what wonders can be found here. So of course she heads in.

Spica makes something cold and presses it against Pai's lump in the hope of easing the pain.

I guess all we can do is work our way down this passage, checking doors and see what happens. Unless anyone has better ideas

If I had to be honest Pai, I'm sort of sniggering on the inside. But I'll see if I can whip up something cold for that lump
