Definitely dotting for interest. I generally just love the aesthetic of the game especially due to its Dishonored influence (2 of my most favorite games in recent years). In terms of potential character I'm thinking Dagger Isles Whisper mainly due to their methods of dealing with spirits sans the use of lightning generators and being wanderers to add a more worldly and travelled weirdness on top of the inherent offness of a Whisper. For Crew, I'm fine with whatever but personal preference would be Assassins, Shadows and Smugglers - which seems to be what everyone here more or less wants to run so thats neat! Will try and get a write up done for the character asap pending inspiration of course >_>
Backstory:
Like most young Jedi brought into the order, Iylina was separated from her parents at a very young age. While being long-faded memories at this point in her life, she does get brief glimpses and flashes of her life back on Zeltros when she dreams and waking up following those nights always leaves her with a small pang of remorse at what her life could have been. Whilst a Zeltron isn't necessarily a rare thing on Coruscant, a Zeltron Jedi was; primarily due to how...toned down...she was compared to seemingly all others of her species another sentient would encounter and that brought its own set of "problems" such as being an easily recognizable figure in her regular haunts in and around Coruscant and the Jedi Temple. For most of her training, this was never really an issue but her Padawanship to a particularly serious and dour Jedi Knight, called Jaytris Atwheye, bent on enforcing the law no matter where he travelled which more often than not meant Coruscant's seedy underworld. Initially this led to quite a few problems as word of her master - a human who was nondescript enough to easily blend into crowds and herself started circulating within the locales she and her master operated in. While her and her master were seemingly slow on the uptake as to why their quarries always seemed to get wind of their approach, it took no time for her training to start taking a more covert-ops feel to it with her learning how to go against what her species was usually all about: being the center of attention. Now a number of years into her training and having just constructed her own lightsaber(s), she's now starting to embark on missions without her master much like most padawans who are nearing the end of their apprenticeship and obtaining their Knighthood - a moment she eagerly awaits.
appearance:
Being a Zeltron, Iylina has crimson-pink skin common to her species and dark brown hair. Apart from her skin making her stand out, her height is on the average side at 5'5" with an athletic build resulting from her jedi training (its all those jumps and flips I tell ya!). Having trained as a Jedi, Iylina is as modest as they come with regards to physical appearance though that does nothing to diminish the natural beauty that comes with being a member of her species. Her face tends to be on the more heart shaped than oval with eyes that are a striking violet. She wears her back-length hair in two braids, one to signify her rank as Padawan and another, larger one to keep it out of the way during physical exertion. Iylina is a dutiful student and always eager to learn and help when necessary and will go out of her way to aid friends but only to a point - she must respect the jedi code after all. Unlike the more militant Jedi within the order, she is very much a firm believer of violence as being a last resort once all other routes have been exhausted but will waste no energy in defending herself if needs be. Being surprisingly self-conscious for an otherwise self-assured appearing Zeltron, Iylina almost subconsciously uses the force training she received to make herself as forgettable as possible when interacting with others in public.
I think thats all that was missing! So, unless I did miss something, character complete.
"As far as I know? They're fungus so should be pretty compost-y if they bake in the sun a bit. Otherwise, s'like I said when I gave y'all a brief description: They're stupid and they like a good fight. Nothing more to it." Faye shrugs. "So long as they don't ever get too close to us, I'm a happy camper." she continues over the coms as she heads to her sleeping area to get out of the sun while not on watch and calm down a bit, her nerves having been on edge ever since they arrived at the front. "Anyways, for the most part we should hear or see them comin' a mile away though I have read reports that they have their own version of commandos...Now, if y'all don't mind, I'm goin' ta go take a breather before my watch starts. Ya know where to find me if things go sideways." And with that, she just *plops* onto her folded up bedroll, sighs heavily, then gets as comfortable as she can.
Alright, Character should pretty much be done. If I'm missing anything, please tell me! :D One-Drive Link to Character Sheet Base Stats:

And now to work on a Background. Should be fun enough! Will post it ASAP.
DEFINITELY Interested in a Star Wars game :O! So first, some stats (May RNGesus be kind to me):
For character, well, I just love the jedi too much to give up the chance at being one. As for what kind of character, I'm mulling over the idea for a less martial jedi (doesnt mean they suck at lightsabering peeps though!). Specifically what is still in the air. We'll see. Also like the idea of a Zeltron jedi mostly for any RP interactions that might induce ie being a bright pink human and/or having a racial/species reputation of being thrill-seekers and whatnot. Will start putting a character together tomorrow. As an aside, here's a fillable character sheet I found that should do some/most of the calculations for you: HERE YA GO
Neato, thought I had posted the Characters name in the spoiler with Faye Marbray. Once I get some free time and Jetlag stops murdering me, I'll get the alias and backstory down ASAP. Sorry if I haven't been posting much but pre x-mas activities what with visiting the family and all has meant no real time to sit down and get everything done. D: I'll also roll up some extra characters when I get to finalising the aforementioned Background and alias.
I'll get on creating a Character BG ASAP but, for now, the 30 Regimental Bonus req. we could spend on: -10 Add Favored Basic Wep to the Regiment (Melta gun?)
Fluffstification:
That, and since the Administratum (and by extension the Departmento Munitorum) is notorious for being a Bureaucratic/Logistical Clusterf@, some stuff might slip through the cracks. Too, since our Regiment is newly raised and we haven't really made a name for ourselves outside of employing the "IF WE DROWN THEM IN ENOUGH BODIES, THEY'LL SUFFOCATE TO DEATH AND WE'LL WIN ANYWAYS!" tactic, I doubt they'd be sending us any Super-Heavies or other exotic tanks and we're more likely to see lots and lots of Chimeras. Meaning apart from any Artillery the Munitorum somehow decides to grace us with, we're not likely to have much actual anti-tank weapons (unless we're also graced with a few Leman Russ') hence our regiment getting a few more Meltaguns than normal possibly.
Y'know what, I'm down for this. I am leaving for vacation in Asia on Tuesday (wed for EU) so I will be MIA for a few days if things progress fast. But afterwards, I'll be 12h ahead of NA EST. But, since we apparently have someone possibly joining in on the fun from China, this shouldn't be much of a problem. with that said, some quick stats (Helps that I'm already playing a reskinned Only War game). 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (4, 7) + 20 = 31
Not bad, a lot of Average and near-max rolls and only 1 stat below 30. Nice. Since we get a single re-roll, might as well do that on the 29 to see if RNGesus doesn't smile on me.
That said, with the premise of how all of this will start out, I may or may not be slightly bummed/excited that my possibly first character (if I get in on this) may or may not bite the dust instantly in the first game due to the setting Ghost is going after (Currently reading through it :P). Since I'm already in a game as a Techmarine, a Sharpshooter Devastator in another (both Deathwatch) and a Medic in the aforementioned OW Reskin, I'd rather go for Commissar or Sergeant where possible. With that in mind, I might as well create the Character as a Sergeant but remain open to playing whatever since we're pretty much guaranteed to rotate out characters at some point. That said, since a few of those that have shown interest in the game have rolled Stormtroopers, we could just start with a Stormtrooper Squad. Anyways, under the assumption of rolling Sergeant:
Stats, Skills, Talents and Aptitudes with Modifiers, etc.: Class: Sergeant Name: Faye Marbray Demeanor: Lucky Ambition: To do her damnedest to make sure her regiments name is spoken with the same respect as the Catachans, Cadians, Steel Legion, etc. across the Imperium. Hatred: Being looked down upon by Imperial Command due to the relative youth of her Homeworlds Regiment. WS: 36
Aptitudes: Willpower (reg), Defence, Fellowship, Leadership, Perception, Strength, Toughness, Weaponskill. Skills: Athletics, Low Gothic, Operate (Surface), Navigate (Surface), Schol. Lore (Beasts), Common Lore (War, Imperial Guard), Command Talents: Rapid Reload (reg), Iron Discipline, Weapon Training (Chain, Las, Low-Tech) Additional Gear: Common Laspistol, Common Chainsword XP Expenditure (600):
Comrade: Loner
Sure, I'll give this a go! The premise looks very promising for some good fun! 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Pretty good overall. Thinking of rolling a Fighter for this one, will hop back in once all the character info is set up.
Certainly interested in getting in on this! Thinking of going Druid ([Grass]Land) but willing to swap out if we want to potentially avoid duplicate classes. Race is going to be Wood Elf. 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6, 4) = 16 13
Welp. RNGesus decided to be kind to me it seems O_o And now to fill out the Character Sheet and write a background!
Sure, I'm in for this! Weapon Skill: 2d10 + 20 ⇒ (7, 10) + 20 = 37 =27 (swap with BS)
Re-Roll for Agility:
Swapping Weapon Skill for Ballistic Skill. Taking Paratrooper as Regiment and Medic as specialty (someones got to keep them alive behind enemy lines!). Stat Bonuses are reflected above. If we're keeping the Stat Bonuses from the speciality, those are reflected above as well Wounds:

I'll send you the character background separately Browman since its probably going to make this post a bit too long :p |
