Hearing a telepathic order from his master, Slip flies behind Valeros and attempts to heal him a little.
Use Magic Device: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Cure light wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Valeros takes a measly 3 points of healing. :/

Though invisible, Slip had ensured he was high enough in the air to avoid physical combat.
Hearing his master's orders, he reluctantly channels his energy into a spell.

The little devil takes particular note of guard numbers, equipment and weapons close at hand.

Still in hiding, Slip heeds the command of its master nervously. Focusing its energies, it wordlessly casts a spell at the winged devil.

"As you command." it replies with a bow. Then promptly turns invisible again.
The little creature flies to the top of the rope with remarkable speed, hovering at the top. (fly speed 50ft: Perfect)
It glances about, on the lookout for anything of interest.
(Slip has +13 perception and Detect evil, Detect magic and Detect good active at all times)
EDIT: Just added in that Slip turns invisible when scouting. It's just good sense. :)

hp: 3d8 ⇒ (1, 7, 8) = 16

Not bad. 40hp total

Okay, just got to correct gold amounts and buff up backstory and should be done.

But umm... Who's the oracle?
