Skip is shocked for a moment as his final shot actually connects with the fleeing creature and the Brigadier brings it down. Oh... My.... Well that didn't feel very sporting....

He shakes it off and moves to inspect the large stridermander. Trying to keep his enthusiasm up on front of the Vesk he asks "Well, Brigadier, Surely this one is a worthy trophy!"

When Schuka points out the ancient battle damage, Skip looks over it a little sadly. His initial wonderment at this hidden facility makes his feel a little guilty after the solemn story of the Allsix Assist unfolded before then.

Skip recoils from the bite. His mind whirls and he is confused for a moment, as if waking from (or entering) a dream. How did I get here, have we always been down here? Yes, right, Momo... The brigadier... I remember....

Free of the danger from the closest stridermander, he continues moving along behind the rest of the group to see.into the larger room. Spying the large creature through the double doors, he recalls and old familiar odour he often smells around his enemies. As he does so the air appears to haze over with an acidic mist.

As Momo steps out, Skip peers into the room. Knowing the last few nests contained various scavenged gear, Skip focuses his attention on the pile. "It looks like the welps may have solved the problem for us, stand back, who knows what they've used to build that nest!"

As he speaks, smoke begins rising from the nest - not unlike that robot earlier. Flames erupt shortly after the first light smoke can be seen and grows to fill the area on a 5 foot radius.

Cast Hazard (orange box). The nest, or maybe the welps can make a reflex check. Sorry for the delay - busy few days

Skip turns to their guest and attempts to smooth the relationship after taking time to search the barracks and argue over the undead. "Excellent shot, Brigadier! A capable hunter indeed! Are any of these gizmos large enough for a trophy?"

He moves into the room, avoiding the detritus scattered about in an attempt to keep his Loafers clean. And moves to inspect the nest.

He retrieves a piece of the robot and uses it to manipulate the nest material away to reveal the grenades and equipment without directly touching anything. "It looks as though they've used some more equipment to build their bed, can anyone help to identify these?"

Skip shares the equipment he finds with the rest of the crew, but holds on to the spell gems. I think I am the only caster, but will have to make checks to be able to use these higher level spells

As they move on to the next room and discover the undead, Skip stops in his tracks. Normally quite reserved and personable, he is startled into uttering ...'What voodoo is this?"

He keeps his distance from the undead abomination.

Skip looks at the rotten pile of detritus that the part came from and shudders. He thinks back to his discarded scarf.

"Oh, no, thank you, Momo" is all he manages to his friend. "If Miss Osuro can make use of them, please feel free. If not, I can see if Mimzy has some bleach wipes...."

Skip has unlimited dancing lights and will never go blind, he just has to make up some elaborate story to explain them. I have a free upgrade slot if Osuro can't use them. I won't be taking anything from the pile otherwise, happy to leave it to front line fighters.

Skip takes stock the the hanging bodies quickly. "Well, now I regret the lights" He swipes his hand at the wall and the dancing lights go out.

Skip will cautiously move farther into the room. He keeps his pistol in hand in this horrifying place. As he directs it around where he's looking, he keeps one of the dancing lights moving about in front of him as if his pistol had a flashlight. Even if the room is decently lit, the extra light provides some comfort.

Is there a way to gauge how long these have been hanging here? Desiccated gives me the impression they are much older, but Skip will take a quick look to ensure there's no "choice cuts of meat" missing from these bodies, or risk of serial killer lurking down here.

Skip raises his pistol focuses his attention on it for a moment. The slight glow of the weapons power system seems to flicker and grow as a blue hue begins to pulse from the small pistol.

"I'll see if I can find the light switch!" Skip calls out, hoping the bright lights will daze their prey. As he waves his hand around the wall, four bright lights bathe the room in bright white light.

Casting 0 level spell Dancing Lights on the subterranean creatures. This was my chance to drop the other infinite worlds spell, but in this small room it would be like dropping a flashbang on us all. I'll start with this and see if it has any effect on them. I would place one light above each of the creatures, one over Skip, and one over Schuka

Skip accepts the water and the translation graciously. "Of course, thank you Mimzy. As to the translation, It doesn't fill me with the warm welcome that it may have once intended."

He glances down at his now dirty scarf. "Well, my poor scarf is ruined. Shame, I purchased it from a merchant ship in the vast, he claimed it was a rare fabric from a distant planet called Wistinte-4, lightweight, moisture wicking, fireproof. Price, 45 credits." He discards the item in the hallway.

If there's nothing to learn from the writing on the walls Skip will move on and join the group. Was just searching for a fun way to use infinite worlds - which I have never used. but I suspect there may be be a use for it here, in the right circumstance

Skip trails along the group, Taking in his surroundings. He's still keenly interested in the structure. He approaches the words written on the wall and tries to investigate. He removes his khaki coloured safari scarf and uses one end to attempt to wipe off the grime.

Here's a stretch, Could Skip use the Witchwarper's Infinite World's ability to see through the dirt? He can make difficult terrain, could kind of undo the damage here? Just trying to gain some insight to what's going on here.

Skip watches as the others scale the wall. He looks around and realises he is now alone in the dark tunnels. "Well, old chap, this is what you signed up for" he tells himself and set off us the wall.

At the top Skip passes through the rough stone and into the metal decking. As he moves he reaches out and touches the wall as it transitions to the new material. He takes a moment to inspect that it indeed a metal structure buried in the tunnels, and not some twist of his perception or the reality around him. That he's not tripping out and it's actually what it appears. "What an interesting structure. Are there records or old plans that may show that there was a building here? Was it visible on your map, Brigadier?"

Skip appears to be distracted that his immaculate safari outfit may have been creased or dirtied during the scuffle. He hardly gives the combat a second look as he brushes dust from his tunic. "...Dreadful.. absolutely dreadful.." he can be heard to mutter to himself.

Once the noise of battle settles down and he is confident that his attire has been mended, he raises his head and takes.stock of the situation.

Skip bids the Vesk farewell and slides his plate away as soon as the group leaves the table. "I'm glad you are enjoying it Momo, it's obscenely hot. Not for me. I should have been warned when the heat overpowered your cybernetic sensibilities, Darkrunner."

He turns again to Momo. Miss Strawberry, I do want to thank you for your kind words earlier, I was honored."

As the servers arrive Skip asks to see the menu and selects a more traditional dish, some antlered creature with local potatoes and vegetables and a glass of wine. Even if the other Starfinders excuse themselves to their rooms, he is happy to sit and enjoy the ambiance and the meal.

Later he strolls the streets on the town with his hands clasped behind his back enjoying the evening weather and local charm. He stops in a few shops along the way before returning to his room for the evening.

Skip will purchase 2 Mk1 Healing Serums, a Mk1 Ability Crystal, and probably some heartburn medication. I added these to his character sheet when leveling up but will record them here for this chronicle. He will spend the time in his room communing with the ability crystal for a +2 to Dex.

When the swarm is mentioned, Skip glances quickly at Momo for her reaction before introducing himself. Knowing the Vesk value strength, Skip takes a boastful approach.

"Brigadier Teshgari, I am Skip Intro. Before being a Starfinder, I have spent an entire career exploring the galaxy for mining riches and mapping distant planets. There with the local populations I would share in their cultures and taste their wild meats. So I know tonight shall be a treat for all! I am also eagerly anticipating our hunt together. I hope we will have an honourable hunt. You should know, that I also hunt the hunters!

Skip is happy to depart from the ship for a shore excursion. He seems happy and relaxed as the skittermanders swarm them, and makes conversation with them with good humor. He seems to be enjoying himself too much to take notice of the direction of the turrets as they depart to the restaurant.

'Mimzy, a pleasure to meet you. Nutritionalist, you say? I trust that you can at least expect the Brigadier to eat his daily share of protein this evening at least! Does the Brigadier usually travel with a large entourage?"

"I rather enjoy a sweet pie. Some I have had are personal sized with a maple filling, usually adorned with rasins or various nuts. It's delightful with an afternoon coffee. Tell me, is there more you can tell us about The Hunt? From the name I gather it's some kind of wild-game based menu?"

Along that train of thought, Skip will quietly add to the other Starfinders "A way to impress the Brigadier may be to sample some of the more extreme menu items, prove our intestinal fortitude, as it were!"

I will have Skip's character sheet uploaded today. I just spent an extra evening sleeping on a multiclass dip.

There's not much to offer in Witchwarper 3 at this point for me, other than a few additional spells, +1 BAB and weapon specialization for +1 damage. I'm a little underwhelmed. Skip was never built to be a combat heavy character, so my main frustration playing him is not being able to contribute to alot of skill checks or narrative parts of scenarios. I've decided to try a Operative dip to boost his skills to fill out my original character concept for him. Plus add magical damage with Magical Assassin replacing trick attack. I'm hoping Small arms weapon focus (especially the +2 at later levels when his BAB will be 3 lower than character level) as well as Spell focus helps to keep him a little bit competitive once the shooting starts.

I was going to offer Skip's 0 Level spell Charming Veneer for Gather Information, which would give a +1 to CHA based skills, but I think that may be best suited for our encounter with the Brigadier

He removes his wide brimmed kahki coloured hat and looks down at it before continuing. "Subterrainian, you say? I guess I won't be needing this then. The meeting room doors open to reveal an older gentleman dressed in khaki colours - A wide brimmed hat, a many-pocketed vest, scarf and leather satchel. He appears to be dressed for recreation instead of a pending mission.

"Greetings, greetings! Oh my, is that Momo Strawberry? What a delight! He moves over to Momo immediately to greet her. "We meet again, are you following me?" He jokes before lowering his voice a bit. "How is the flight treating you, everything ok?"

He will also move around to greet the others. He is very friendly and outgoing. "I can't recall having been to Vesk-3 before... no I spent the bulk of my previous career mapping distant worlds in the vast. Does anyone know anything more about our destination?'

Skip scrambles back to the craft with the assistance of the life ring and Momo. He is a little embarrassed as he clambers aboard. This doesn't last long as the realisation that his outfit is ruined.

"Yes, my apologies Mr. Liftt. I presumed the grab-handles would be sufficient. Good heavens! My scarf, it's gone! I also appear to be missing a castrovel coin from my loafers. That was an antique from the days of physical currency!"

I do not have any healing spells for Antethriss, unfortunately.

He is of course mortified to discover one of the crew is in mortal danger and he was too concerned with his garments to take notice.

Skip hangs on to a handle in the vehicle as it bounces along. He peers out at the cultists ahead of him and judges them to be outside his sphere of magical influence. He again levels his pistol out a firing port and tires to connect with the cultist approaching their craft.
