Doh!!! I was zoomed in and couldn't see it. In my defence, I'm still jet lagged :-)

When in doubt, smite and charge. When not in doubt, smite and charge.

Haldern and Jensal charge in

Haldern to hit: 1d20 + 29 + 1 - 5 + 4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 29 + 1 - 5 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 53 for damage: 1d8 + 26 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 26 + 15 = 48

crit confirm: 1d20 + 29 + 1 - 5 + 4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 29 + 1 - 5 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 35 for damage: 1d8 + 26 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 26 + 15 = 44

So, 144 or 288 damage depending on crit

Jensa: 1d20 + 15 + 1 + 4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 15 + 1 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 28 for damage: 1d8 + 202 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 202 + 20 = 226

Halden isn't much of one for buffs but he WILL throw Honeyed Tongue up.

He and Jensal have both cleaned their armour and both are attending.

He'll basically be grimly standing in a corner, awaiting trouble, politely rebuffing any attempts to involve him in conversation.

It would be a VERY low DC sense motive to realize that he is NOT happy and is expecting some kind of trouble.

He will be constantly scanning the crowd with detect evil. Yes, I know that is fairly obvious. He doesn't care

"So, do we believe that this thing can do what it claims and play its foul game? Or do we just kill it here and now and hope that it is bluffing.

Haldern walks over to the Mouse, carefully places its limbs together as if he is sleeping, and covers it with a cloak. He whispers to it
"We will see you soon little warrior."

He turns towards Thorbjorn and, quite openly, detects evil on the man.

"I agree with Kenjanka. You need to tell us what is going on. NOW!"

No Combtat reflexes for me

Not being able to charge it from where he is, Haldern will just cast Holy Sword on his lance and move a little.

[ooc]I've lost track of what the blue box thingy is on the map. Does it block charge lanes[/ooc[

I had thought that I had sufficient height advantage to just 5 ft step. If that wasn't true, he'd instead delay until after Daniel attacked. If that put the golem down (and if Daniel was fighting the one interfering with a 5 ft step) THEN he'd attack the dragon.

If that doesn't work (wrong golem or it doesn't go down) he'd whale on whichever golem Daniel was on.

Would smite the dragon regardless.

So, if I'm fighting the golem the new totals (same rolls) would be :

lance: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (12) + 21 = 33 for damage: 1d8 + 28 ⇒ (7) + 28 = 35
lance: 1d20 + 21 - 5 ⇒ (20) + 21 - 5 = 37 for damage: 1d8 + 28 ⇒ (6) + 28 = 34

lance possible crit: 1d20 + 21 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 21 - 5 = 29 for damage: 2d8 + 56 ⇒ (3, 2) + 56 = 61

All attacks do NOT ignore Admantine DR :-(

Jensal WILL power attack but DOES smite. Magic, good aligned

Ah. Ok. The lance is +3 magical (and so also counts as both cold iron and silver). Not adamantine :-).

And, of course, against evil targets that I"m sniping no DR applies (although hardness still does).

Against non aligned things with hardness I tend to charge a lot :-) :-).

The longsword is just magic. Nothing special

I think its up to date but my sheet may have transcription errors (I cut and paste from Hero Lab).

At any rate, my lance is a War lance and is the weapon that I almost always use.

The Inheritors Light is very much a backup weapon and is NOT currently being wielded.

Did that answer your question? If not, I'll need more detail :-)

I entered something approximating the following a couple of days ago. Seems to have vanished so I'll try again

Haldern calls out to his alllies
"Can somebody possibly get this force wall down? I'll be able to get through it eventually but it will take quite awhile."

If nobody can bring him in then he is likely functionally out of this fight, taking at least about a minute to get in

Long and boring math:

If nobody replies, he'll do one of the following depending on the geography off the map.

If space allows, he'll back off and charge the barrier. Repeating that every 2 rounds until the barrier goes down

If there isn't he'll just attack the barrier. EVENTUALLY it will go down but it will be awhile.

If he can charge, then every 2 rounds he does charge damage of d8+28 x 3 - 30
If he can't, then every round he does 3 x d8+28-30

charge: 3d8 + 54 ⇒ (4, 8, 2) + 54 = 68

no charge: 3d8 - 6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4) - 6 = 5

So, its going to take well over a minute to get in even if he can charge
